Remarque was almost the only member of the dark mirror court that he knew, though he did plan to improve upon that, right now though he wanted to talk to Remarque. It was why he was talking into a compact mirror; he was hoping Remarque would hear him. Standing under some trees, tucked away, at a park he was trying to not be noticed while he pulled out a mirror compact.
"Remarque, it's Itokawa. Can we meet somewhere, I think you might find what I have to say interesting." At least he thought so, he knew her found the interaction with an alien interesting. It might be found more interesting by some white moon senshi but he had no intention of talking to any of them, he was not a member of their faction. This was something to share with is courts prince. "I'm at the small park, by the asian district." Since that was a familiar district for him, a comfortable place in the city.

Sometimes it felt like no one really used the compacts, so when his went off, Remarque was a bit surprised. He received the message but didn't reply immediately. At first, he wasn't even sure he was going to; he had just intended to find a mirror and make his way over there. If he didn't say anything, there was always the concern that Itokawa might think he hadn't heard and leave, so he used the compact to leave a brief message, "On my way," before he closed the thing and pocketed it.
He was only in his Eternal form--being a Prince drew too much attention and he never really needed it. There weren't enough fights he didn't think he couldn't win on his own, like this, and if he wasn't looking to be noticed, there was no point in walking around radiating that much power.
He found a mirror and stepped through it, making his way as close to where he thought the other Dark Mirror Senshi was; as soon as he stepped through, he was able to feel him on his radar and made his way in that direction.
Ominous information always made his hackles raise, and he didn't know what he was preparing for. It was a relief when Itokawa appeared in his line of vision. He called his name and raised a hand to announce his arrival, as if his energy signature wasn't enough. "You're not in any sort of trouble, are you?" he questioned as he crossed the distance between them; that was his first priority.

Getting the message left for him he felt a smile tug at his lips. He'd been heard and the other was on the way - good. It wasn't some emergency but he thought it important enough to tell the other. It might not impact their faction but who knew...maybe it would. It was still something interesting and worth knowing about though, at least in his mind.
"No, but I learned some interesting information recently." He spoke up as clearly as he could. He still at times had issues with his English, though he'd gotten better, his accent did make things an issue at times even now.
"An alien - not from here. He had lots of items he'd collected from all over space - not just this part of space. I asked him some things, to learn about things off this planet. He gave me some information. It might not help us but it is worth knowing. He said we're cute on this planet - innocent and us thinking we're the only ones here and so secluded." He said slowly, wanting to word things right and not jumble things up or ramble. "He was unusual looking with horns and pointed ears and snake like yes - slit pupils." Certainly not from here, that was for certain.
"Life is still out there - other planets and places. Not as much as once was he said...and darker - more dangerous. Negaverse is not really off this planet and had never seen us before. He is a collector and finds us, dark mirror, fascinating...he said he wished he could take one of us home with him." Here he shook his head and raised a hand. "But I don't think he will - said he had things to get rid of...parts of his collection. So too many things I think so couldn't if he wanted to." So they were safe, at least for now, but he wasn't certain the person posed a threat, at least not in the sense most would think. And he didn't think it would be on purpose either, he seemed too interested in them and too much into collecting things...not the sort to ruin or break his things.
"Says he'd seen senshi and knights before in space...but less populated - is lonely in space now it seems." Where as once it hadn't been. Something had happened in space whether slowly or not...and he wasn't sure it was all connected, or even some of it was. But it was worth noting and mentioning to the other.
"Says darkness in the corners and lurking - we're lucky maybe for so many of us here and not much else here."
He'd said a lot, he knew he had, but he'd had to try and remember as much as he could as he felt so much was important - it told a lot of the make up outside this planet. It didn't say what was going on or why things had happened. But he knew a bit about what existed past their planet and past their solar system.
"Wonder if people from elsewhere will visit some senshi planet...run into senshi or knights." It was a possibility it seemed, at least he thought it was possible. Knowing not everything was dead and some traveled, like the one he'd met, it could happen - right? Even if the odds were slim.
"It is good to know what is out there, right? Beyond here." He questioned watching the other, hopeful he'd done good with bringing such news, even if the idea of someone wanting to kidnap a dark mirror senshi might be a bit worrisome. The rest was fascinating.

Remarque found himself nodding along as the male spoke. He didn't seem to have any issue with understanding him. He was patient as he listened, taking in each and every bit of information. It felt like there were more strange things happening now, all of a sudden--more strangers that didn't make sense. People not from this world, or any other that he knew.
He didn't know if it was good or bad, but given the history of things, he expected the worst.
"I see," he answered after a thoughtful moment. "What sort of collection did he have to get rid of?" he prompted, and then shortly after, "What did you tell him about us?"

"It was all sorts of things, he said he found them in his travels...and acquired them." He didn't, for now, mention the snow globe he personally had gotten from the stranger. It was a harmless enough item, just something to enjoy looking at.
"Nothing more than he could observe. He has never seen us before so we are only here and he knew what we are called. I didn't explain us to him....it is hard to do." Considering he didn't know a lot about the other sides, having not interacted much with senshi or corrupted ones. He didn't know all the differences between the groups.
"I was more interested in finding out about space - anywhere off Earth." Since that was something people always wondered about, but he figured those who were involved in this conflict were more curious about. They all had some connection to places in space so he was sure the curiosity was even stronger for them all.
"I don't know how long he stayed here for or if he is still on Earth." Though he did doubt it, he figured the stranger was off collecting things elsewhere in space by now. "I don't know how he travels or what it was that I gave him....what it's for. He didn't say and I doubted he would if I asked a lot." He seemed friendly...but he didn't think he would be if pushed at too much.

Remarque nodded but found he had very little answers to work with. He exhaled, perhaps a bit agitated, but nodded. “I’m glad you kept information to yourself, at least. The less they know about us, the better.”
It felt like they still barely knew anything, and he liked to keep some mystery, just in case they needed to pull a few aces out of their sleeve.
“...If you find him again, call me. I’d like to have words with him. At the very least, we know there are people off of Earth. And if there’s, there’s many. We’ll need to up our game. I don’t to be caught unprepared.”

"That is the main thing - there is life elsewhere. Senshi...knight...and others. Human like...but not human." Not with those horns and pointed ears, not when that seemed natural. But at least it wasn't like in some alien movies, in terms of looks anyway, it was more what some might call a fairy or a demon...a dark fairy maybe? And he'd obviously, from what he was assuming, had been to Earth before?
"I'll let you know...but I don't think it. I don't think I'll see him again....but some news is nice." That they weren't alone, at least not in terms of human like life....though they were alone in terms of dark mirror senshi.
"How to up0 our game against what we don't know? Do we need to even?" Would more come to Earth? People looking to fight them? People looking to fight the Negaverse? It was all so interesting....and somewhat scary but also wonderous as well.

Remarque nodded, rolling over the thought in his mind. He had not doubted that there was life elsewhere, but it didn't bring him any sort of relief. He had suspected as much, from the very beginning. When he, and the others, had been pulled to the Surrounding, just before he awakened. To look at the stars and see such an expansive universe--to see that and think there is nothing out there...
And yet, they had been attacked by things while out there. Things he could not explain--not human, not youma. Aliens? But they hadn't been anything to communicate with. They had been something else entirely.
His lip curled instinctively when he thought of space whales, of lizards.
The Surrounding felt like a lifetime ago.
"Keep training," Remarque said, sighing. "It's all we can do. Get more to join us. Get stronger. Guide what we have, focus who we have. We need to be a team. I don't know if something is going to come--when something is going to come--but the more prepared we are, the better chance we have. That's all we can ask for, I think."

"Is it really better if we're more in number and not small and focused - strong?" He questioned after a moment, honestly curious. Which was the best way for them to go? Would smaller but stronger, more tightly knit, be the best idea or not? If they were smaller they may not get as much attention placed on them and thus be safer.
It was hard to know what would be the safest thing for them to do, as a whole, and he was sure none of then could predict which the bet route would be was. "Do you think something from past here? Outside our system will ever come and attacks? Not like we've had before but an invasion sort of?" He didn't like the idea, anyone would be crazy to like it, but he was wondering what the other thought.
"I'll keep training....maybe you can help?" Since he didn't know many people it would be helpful to have someone who could help him train.,

"I'll help you," he said easily. "We should schedule some sparring some time. I can teach you to fight with your fists if you don't know already. Or we can just practice your magic. I'll teach you what moves I know. I used to box," he shrugged, and it felt like such a lifetime ago. His wife wouldn't let him go get busted up anymore, even if he hadn't ever really suffered any true losses.
"I don't know what's out there, deep in space. I'll be honest. I've seen things, though. I know that there has to be. I don't want to let my guard down at any point in time, and I think everyone else should do the same. As small of a group as we are--yeah. We should be focused, as strong as we can be. But it wouldn't matter if it was a handful of us, all at our best. One good attack could still wipe us out if we don't have enough numbers to back us up. But it's not even just about fighting--it's about Mirrorspace, too. We have to do our best to take control of it. The more of us there are, the more impact we have. The more energy we can drain, the more we can build up our realms.

"I don't know...I've never had to fight." He'd lived a perfectly normal life and gone to a perfectly normal high school. He'd never had a reason to fight, it also wasn't something he'd ever had an interest in. "Boxing is popular in Thailand...but not the same as here. Muay thai is how people box back home...." It was something people even here knew about but it wasn't so popular and he'd never seen a place teaching it, though he was sure some places did. It wasn't something he'd ever learned or felt a need or want when back home.
"Control mirrorspace? What do you mean? Do we need so many? It feels like we would lose the close knit feel if we have so many in numbers...and be noticed more by others who don't like us. Wouldn't it be best to keep small and just drain more? Help mirroirspace but not gain such attention from others?" A keep to themselves kinda mentality

Remarque blinked. "...You've never had to fight?" he asked, seeming visibly surprised. "...As much as I hope you never have to, I think it would be in your best interest to make sure you can handle yourself if someone does decide to pick a fight with you. I don't want you going out there unprepared, so when you get some free time...let's make time. I'll teach you what I know, and we'll see how you handle yourself with your magic."
He sighed, planting his hands on his hips. "I get what you're saying with Mirrorspace though, but there's a certain point where we have to be aware that small numbers will only get us so far. The more we have, the more we lose the close-knit, but there are people out there that I've never even met, so I can't even pretend like we're all a tight family. There are people I haven't seen in months--years. People I can't reach. People I don't know if they're dead or alive or purified or in hiding. I just know that there's safety--and power--in numbers. I'd rather you be able to go out and have someone watching your back any time you needed it than know you went out on your own one night and it was the last I ever saw of you."

"That sounds like a good idea." It sounded like something he might need, as the other pointed out. Even if he didn't like the idea of getting into a fight...it would happen - right? Eventually anyway.
"Tighter than the others, with small numbers, easier to contact everyone." To warn them or what have you. But it did leave them, in some ways vulnerable, but wasn't it easier to move and to organize a smaller group? Especially if they almost all knew each other, with exceptions of course. It did just seem like a better idea, though the other certainly made a good argument for the opposite. "But yes, true to that also. Just seems safer for us to be smaller..." At least it did to him, but he wouldn't argue it either.
"We can work out when to meet....so I can learn more." And learn to fight, since it seemed he would indeed need to know how to fight and defend himself and others potentially.

"You've got my number, don't hesitate to text me on my cell phone. We'll coordinate. I'd feel better about being smaller in number if we had the strength to back it up. When you consider what we're up against," he shrugged a bit.
"...It's complicated. The smaller we are, the less of a threat they'll see us. But in the mean time, that means that we will have to work on getting stronger. We can stay under the radar as long as possible if the group stays small, but it'll always benefit us to be able to take care of ourselves. So when you power down, text me what your schedule looks like and we'll pick a night, I'll teach you what I know and we'll see if we can't find what works for you."

"I will, I'll call soon." And he would, he had every reason to. "Maybe if more of us gain in rank - then it'll be better." Which meant he needed to get those same wings others had on their lower back. He'd need to gain power which meant he'd need to do more and experience more. He would have to in order to help their small numbers be safer and stronger.
"That sounds good. I'll text you and we can all then work to make the group stronger - so we're all safer." But can still fly under the radar by being smaller in numbers. It seemed to perhaps be the best option for the group? Kyuseisha no Hikari Finally going to just finish this. I gots time to rp. I think this is done and we should do some follow up's....esp once he hits super! OMG...so proud of this baby of mine!
