Hobbies:Cosplay - Elbow deep in that nerd culture, Marnie is always working on some form of cosplay. Foam weapons, hand stitching designs, pulling her hair out at midnight waiting to get specific supplies before the whole world after Bowsette became a trend. Marnie loves and hates it all. She's very fond of cosplaying skimpily clad girls from video games. She's deep, deep into the Instagram and Twitter cultures for cosplay. She kind of wants to try her hand at fursuiting.
Doll customization - She loves customizing dolls. She binges YouTube to get ideas, follows so many people that she could spend hours learning from them. Her room is littered in various dolls that are in various stages of being done. Usually only three in the works at a time. She sells the finished products on Etsy (with her mother's help, of course.)
Virtues:Brave -- Marnie's never not been a brave lass. When she was a little kid, she had no issues walking up to larger animals like horses and bulls, and just sticking her hand out to them. She has no fear when it comes to her looks. She wears what she wants and ignores everyone else's reaction besides her mom and best friends.
Creative -- Artistry runs in her veins. Her mother is a rather well known artist, locally, for portraits of animals and her landscapes. She always loved painting along side her mother, even when she was really just taking paint and smearing it on a canvas at age four. It only expanded as she fell in love with cartoons, wanting to draw them and be as vibrant as they are. She discovered anime and ended up a goner. Her mother encourages her creative endeavors as best as she can.
Open minded -- Her mother always said: "People come in many shapes and sizes. They all got brought up really differently. Don't be harsh on them. You don't know their struggles." So Marnie grew up very accepting of everyone. While she doesn't understand certain things, she's not about to make anyone unhappy. She really tries to never judge people until she gets to know them.
Flaws:Pessimistic -- She calls it being 'realistic', but her brain automatically goes into worst case scenario mode when something goes wrong, or off schedule. If there's a storm coming she's the first to jump to the house immediately flooding. She doesn't mean to rain on the parade, but sometimes the negative thoughts just flow out.
Perfectionist -- There's a reason her projects take so long. If she's not happy with the way something is going, and she's three-fourths of the way done? She'll start all over and cry about it. She's spent many nights screaming into a pillow, or just depressed with her mom on the couch because of a flaw in a finished product she didn't see.
Hard on herself -- Being a perfectionist means she's her own worst judge. She pushes holds herself to impossible standards, and does break down when it becomes too much. Despite people telling her she's good, and 'one of the best' at that specific thing, she never believes them. There's always better out there. There's more she could be doing, she's too slow at things.
