Early one morning Nin heard a knock on the door and opened it to see Kiyelt standing outside expectantly. She tilted her head at him in curiousity.
"Kikyelt what are you doing here?" She asked. She thought he had been away. Not that she wasnt pleased to see him. Handsome devil that he was. She never had gotten tired of staring at his face.

Kiyelt swallowed. In all of his years of practice this part never got any easier. "Well I was wondering if you would like to go on a trip? I have somewhere I want to shiw you.
Among other things she had grown and matured into a gorgeous young woman and his need for love and family burned him him fiercly. If only she would accept his suite.

She frowned slightly, eyeing him. "Is this for work?" she asked eyeing thr bright glint of intensity in his eye with no small amount of intelligence. When ine was a young female it wasn't too hard to work out out what it was that he wanted from her. He positively wreaked of good guy.
She wasn't sure what interested her more, that he was a bit older and nore the handsome and mature for it, that his beard looked as good as it did or the fact that he looked dabgerous and that triggered something within her. He would protect her and other woman would be so healous tht she had him out of them all she had won and cherished him and got what she deserved.

Crap, he had hoped she wasn't going to ask him that. He couldnt lie to her, not if he ever hoped to win her regard. He just hoped that his curse with women wouldn't kick in and he would be left alone again considering the chance that if he begged Aisha for a year maybe she would give a non alk a child. He wanted a family so bad. And a good string wiman that could handle a beast such as himself, who better than an aninal healer to heal him.
"No Nin, this is not for work. This is because I can't keep it in anymore. I think that youbarr the most intelligent and beautiful girl I have met in a long time. You feek responsible for everyone and everything and as wild as I am I need someone who can stand by my side as an equal in whatever talent they possess. Nin I wonder if you mught accept me as a courter."

Her heart squeezed and she felt a blaze of its too good to be true warmth. The handsomest man in the neighborhood, the exotic sexy Iceling lordling was interested in her as a wife. Holy crap! Her hand came up to flutter slightly.
"Kiyelt I, well, I accept." There she had said it, she couldnt believe she had but she had. They were an item, a couple a pair. She was pretty sure there were fireworks going off in her head.
Not knowing exactly what came over her she stepped forward slowly and lifted a hand to his cheek. He looked incredible illuminated by the tropical Matorian sun.
"Where are you going to take me? " she purred in a sultry whisper.

"To the place that I had called home for many many years, perhaps then I will finally be able to let it go completely." he stared at her, he hadn't meant to say that much, the desert still haunted his soul with its quietness but he wanted to have a life, to not be forgotten in the sands alone.
"I want you to see it because it is special to me and it became a part of me." Maybe then she would be able to understand him. To love him, to want to keep him.

Oh this was interesting. Out of them all he had selected her. Maybe Rista was right and she was more beautiful than she had thought. She always thought she looked drap with all the dark medium toned colors, but now that she knew he was into it, she felt refined and very old blood. He made her feel special. That was a sensation that was hard to ignore in the brisker winds of fall.
She had been to Zena, she wondered if he missed the snow.
"Do you miss your original home?"

He sighed as he thought of his answer. "Yes and no, I miss the people but definitely not the climate. Because I stayed in Oba so long, I did eventually adjust to the climate there. And nothing beats a desert night. The air is so crisp and you would not believe the stars. Even more stars than here in that sky."
He was babbling again. He had never really gotten rid of that.
He felt more for this woman than she even knew. But he did know it was his destiny.

As they entered the area that Kiyelt used to call home she gasped with the amazing beauty of it all. Tones of bright gold and deep red as well as a rich sienna striated horizontally over the landscape. The fading sun set it all ablaze and she just sat perched on his janarim's back in awe.
He rode Rajiri which he hadn't done in a while and she was bucking and swaying to Nin's great amusement atop Skiyaii's back, he was not prone to excited frivoloty.

He caught sight of her face an smiled. It truly was a beautiful place and he was glad that she could see it.
He proceeded to set up temporary camp in what had been his former home. He needed to show her who he was before she could fully understand what she was getting into. Because with her, he was not going to let go so easily. He was done with being alone and sad. He would give her the world if he could.
Soon camp was set and it was lavish and good. He made them food and they sat around the fire chatting and munching after thy had tended to the animals.

This was her big chance to really get to know that real him. From the look in his eyes he was an open book. How had one so fascinating ended up in her little nook of Matori anyhow?
"I see why you wanted me to come here, I feel like this explains a lot, but what drove you out here in the first place?"
She poked the fish they had brought on the fire. She liked fish but she was excited for some desert cuisine in the coming days.

"Honestly I was protecting a family of janarim." He gestured at Skiyaii, "His family, they enjoy a large territory out here and I was combatting poachers for years and years, that is why I am so closely bonded with all the animals, I was out here alone with them for a long time."
He leaned over to feed her a small peace of fish.
"Where do you want to sleep tonight? I can have a separate bed made for you or if you want you can sleep with me." He swallowed, not wanting to admit how much he wanted her close to him. How many nights had he wished he had someone who would share this place with him?

"Well I wouldn't want you to get lonely now would I?" She smiled warmly at him. So this was what is was like to have a boyfriend. She felt all fresh and jittery and new. Her heart spent most of its time hammering away in her chest and she constantly wondered what he was thinking about. How hot he was and wondering at exactly what time of man he was. Was he as sincere and cute and blunt as he made himself seem or was he just out for a good ride and then would disapear into the sunset like her Daddy had always warned about men.
She was blushing but she would not take back the offer of sharing one bed.

She had said yes? So easily? Well who was he to complain really.
"Prepare to be very spoiled Ninaeleth." He grinned at her waggling his eyebrows jokingly. If she was going to be so very cavalier about this he would take it slow and reward the trust that she had put in him so far. It wasn't like they didn't know each other after all. He had worked with her for a few years at least.
Now though he couldn't see her in the little girl light. She had an almost permanantly furrowed brow and he felt that she needed to lighten up a little.

She grinned truly, it would be nice to be truly spoiled and she wondered what he would come up with. Honestly she had spent enough time with him to be comfortable in his presence. He had a way of being frank that called to her. He was not a man who lied, or hid the full truth be it with the likelihood an animal would make it or some other disapointing news. He was raw yet refined. It was an intriguing combination.
She had been enjoying her practice since she had graduated, the years had marched on a little and she began to have a new outlook on life. She didn't want to be lonely forever because she was too choosy. Besides Kiyelt seemed like the cream of the crop. And she liked kids, she wanted kids. And if she was right about how loving a guy like Kiyelt could be she would be happy forever. He was in his prime.
