Now she was getting to some of the newer senshi, and Cybele took a moment to smooth down her skirt and smile brighter in an attempt to look extra welcoming. “Thank you so much for coming out, Fomalhaut and Miyamoto,” she said, giving them each their own smile in turn before she turned her attention to her clipboard and ran a finger down the page until she found their names. “It’s interesting. You two have magic that’s opposite in some ways, but I believe that it could make you powerful if you work together. If you could distract or weaken your enemy,” she nodded at Miyamoto, “And then boost yourself,” she turned to Fomalhaut, “I think you could find yourself at quite the advantage.”

He didn't know why he was here, he really didn't think he belonged here, yet here he was. He supposed he was tryiing to learn a bit...and to train ahead of time - before the change. He wouldn't mention it, wouldn't show that he felt anything for the other side. He had to keep himself hidden, which wasn't all that hard really, but he did nod his head and manage a bit of a smile at the praise.
"That would work." He didn't know what the others magic did, though it was some sort of boost, he knew his did something mentally or emotionally to people. It would, as the other senshi said, work well to distract someone. It would give an opening to another to move in for a kill.
He just hoped this went well, better than he anticipated it would go.
"Ready then?" He asked looking from the super senshi to the other senshi.

Fomalhaut felt a little uncertain when she saw her opponent. He seemed a bit unreactive somehow, or maybe like he was holding something back. The quick inquiry as to whether she was ready or not caught her off guard. "Oh? Um, well... Can you tell me what your magic does exactly first? In a little more detail?" It occurred to her in the back of her mind that Chaos would not go into this much detail, but she wasn't with Chaos, right? "My magic makes my attacks hit harder, especially if the target is of a higher rank than I am. I haven't gotten to test that last bit out, though." She'd shown her cards, and with any hope at all, she'd get a peek at her opponent's.

"I've only used it once or twice. I assume it's something emotional or mental. I wasn't going to ask someone attacking me with a stapler what it did to them." Bad enough they threw it at him one last time, that thing left bruises on him. He was planning on finding her and throwing something at her, even after he changed sides, as a way of greeting.
Mmmm, well that was an interesting bit of magic. It was useful as well from what he could figure, at least when you were low rank. Once higher rank it would still be useful but not as useful.He supposed the general idea of it was to close the power gap a bit.
"She is right - it could be really useful...." Meaning the senshi running this gathering.

The other senshi's lack of awareness of his own magic bothered Fomalhaut just a bit. Her own magic knowledge felt innate, somehow, even if she hadn't tested it out to its full capabilities. It was like he didn't care, and if he didn't care, why was he here? Still, Fomalhaut knew that she had no place lecturing someone about their lack of investment in being a senshi. She'd been awoken and then wandered off to do normal person things, but at least she was trying to get back into it. Trying. "Mm-hm. I just hope I can see how much more effective it is, someday." Nodding, she sucked in a breath. "I'm ready whenever you are. But I'm going to come in swinging." Clenching a fist, she issued her challenge. "Ambition Above!" Quote: Sailor Scout Attack: Ambition Above! Fomalhaut clenches a fist, and a faint red aura surrounds either herself or a target within a 5 foot area. The target of this aura receives a small boost to the damage (impact) of their attacks, magical or physical; however, if the one with the aura attacks someone of a higher stage then them, the boost to damage will be greater and the attack will be more painful. The boost lasts for 25 seconds. This attack can be used 3 times.

"Likewise, while I'm new to all of this...I want to get stronger." He wanted to rush it perhaps, he wanted to prove himself and become as strong as he could before he switched sides. He wanted to be useful and he needed to be useful as soon as he switched...so he needed this - he needed to be able to fight!
"That's fine. I wouldn't expect anything less." Shrugging his shoulders as he waited for the other senshi. He did expect actual swinging, not magic, from the way the other sounded. But he should have expected magic.
"So....I assume since your magic is a boost...I should attack you using it against you? You'll be ok?" He did want to make sure,as he figured hitting her too hard might not be a good idea, not that he much cared but he did need to look good - right? "I'll use my own magic." To not take the risk of hitting someone too hard, once he changed sides it would be ok to do such things.
"Sweeping Loneliness" Making a sweeping gesture towards the other senshi, almost a dramatic bow of sorts, he sent out his own magical attack.
Sami-Fire Sailor Scout Attack: Sweeping Loneliness With this attack Miyamoto gives a sweeping gesture with his hand, either one will do, and while nothing is seen those within a four foot range (in front of him only) will suddenly feel lonely, as if they are the only person alive even if there are people all around them. They will feel small and alone in the world. This feeling will last for twenty seconds before fading away. Can be used three times in battle.
