Brownie woke early in the morning before the sun had even come up. And though he had not had much sleep, he felt well rested and energized. Today was the day, Today he was having his Grand opening for his very own Bakery. He had told all had come around about this day so maybe they would come and see. The rest he hoped to pull in by the baked good smell wafting through the Homewoods.
As the morning sun came over the horizon, Brownie raced to the Barrens to pick up the last of the treats he had baking there. For the first time ever he was so glad the Barrens got hot early and well before the Homewoods ever did. Racing bake to to his shop his excitement and hope for the day was building more and more. Placing the last of the breads in their display box, he looked around make sure everything was perfect. Satisficed and smiling he turned to the front of his Bakery and called out, "BROWNIE'S BAKERY IS NOW OPEN FOR BUSINESS!"
He voice echoed through the Homewoods and gust of wind carried it throughout. turning back to his shop he smiled at all he had done. As he waited for his first customer he was not sure what to do, so he did what he does best and began making cookie dough. has he mixed the dough he hummed softly to himself.
