Personality: Alera tends to be very optimistic normally looking at the bright side of things, almost to the point of being annoying. Is very friendly to others and can be a bit over protective of those she is close with. She thinks more like a wolf than a human so some people can find her a bit odd. While normally calm she tends to think more on instinct than rational though when stressed.
Abilities: True form is that of a silver wolf, can switch between human and wolf forms at will. Has the ability to communicate or understand most other animals.
Background: Far away from Gaia there is a valley that was once the home of a city of mages. However an accident destroyed the city and over the centuries it was overgrown by the forest. The magic however remained. Over time the creatures living in the valley changed. They gained almsot human like intelligence and lived longer than they normally should have. Some even developed magical abilities. Alera was born in a small wolf pack that lived in this valley. At first she seemed like a normal pup. However, as she grew she discovered she had the ablility to take human form. Normally one with a magical talent was shown great repsect, but Alera's pack had no love for humans due to some past incidents. Many were afraid and did not trust her. Feeling very unwelcome Alera decide to leave her home. She spent several years on the road traveling before finally settling in Gaia
