Teams arrive on scene to see the courtyard has been transformed. Several temporary walls, obstetrical, ramps and platforms have been set up, turning the once open courtyard into a maze where teams will need to battle it out for a tactical position and be wary of an ambush around the next turn. At the center of the maze lay an open area separating the two halves of the courtyard. You can attempt to dash across, or try to sneak around either side within the walls, or perhaps stand in the middle and try to goad others into coming out into the open to fight. Within the maze and the open area, refill stations have been set up, where participants can grab more pool noodles, refill their water guns or grab more water balloons. Be warned though. If you damage the courtyard, you'll have a very upset Deputy Headmistress to face.
1. The water fight consists of 4 v 4 teams. Each 4 on 4 match will be in its own thread in the combat thread to avoid congestion/too many people posting in the same thread. 2. As this is a fun event, combat rules will not apply (ie whoever is the highest level wins), and there will be no winners or losers, unless both teams want to treat it like combat, in which case you'll need to agree on how you want to determine winners and loser before starting. 3. Each person is allowed one water weapon of their choice. (Super soaker, water balloon launcher, ect) 4. Semblances are allowed 5. If you intentional harm another participant you will be removed. (Please contact a crew if a character gets violent) 6. Reparations will be required if the courtyard is damaged. This may be in the form of repaying Beacon for the repairs or community service.
Rammie walked into the courtyard. She was nervous about the water fight. They didn't have a whip like water weapon, and she was told she could find pool noodles that she could almost whip around. So until then, she would carry a backpack full of water, on her shoulder was a massive gun. She could be seen pumping the handle with ease. She was ready to face anyone with this cannon of a watergun.

This was going to be epic. Her first few months at Beacon and now not only was she going to be in a exhibition match, which was was super pumped for, but this water fight. She was going to have 3/4ths of her team standing with her. That made the team leader supper happy. She just couldn't keep taps on Aeralin for some reason or another. That girl just did what she wanted to do. That wasn't her focus right now though. Her focus was making sure that her team not only had fun, but dominated in this fight. She liked winning, but not as much as she liked having fun. What did Ozpin say in volume 2 when team RWBY and JNPR had the food fight? Let them be children for now because they wouldn't have the privilege for forever. If only she knew how well that applied to her.
Getting dressed, she was comfortable in her skin. Therefore, she saw no need in covering up what she was blessed with. Have her water gun, she was ready to kick butt and have fun. Arriving her and one other seemed to be present in the courtyard so far. It seems they both had brought massive guns to the water fight. This should be interesting. With a smile, she introduced her. "I'm Pyrve." She spoke clearly. Another Demon Faunus. Oh boy...Hopefully she was nothing like the pain in the a** she had to deal with on a real basis. Waiting, it seems the rest of the team was lagging behind. She was used to it by now.
Aoibheann hadn't made too much headway in her time here getting to know people aside from her team, though, this event had seemed the perfect chance to do just that. Back home, they didn't really use swim suits, just donning some cheap clothes and jumping in the river. As such, she didn't really have one here either. So, she chose a black tee and some running shorts to wear as she made her way out to the courtyard. She had a water rifle thing she'd never really seen before and had familiarized ehrself with it after a quick overlook. She was better with a sword when it came to fighting, but, she was no stranger to hunting and, with the mazes, this seemed far more in line with a hunt than a fight. Already, a couple girls were gathered and, so, she made her way over to them.
"How ya doin' hey? Name's Aoibheann. But, ya can call me Eevee if it suits yer fancy. 'Scuze the way I talk, ain't from 'round here. Still gettin used ta speakin innaway people can understand. It's a grand aul day innit?"She looked around them, really loving the warmth of a sunny day here. Loads different than the persistent chill of being high up in the mountains. She pulled a hair band from her pocket and set the gun down as she pulled her hair back and twisted it around into a impromptu bun and secured it with the hair band. She was more than used to fun little spats involving hair pulling and wasn't taking any chances here with that.
Rey informed Pyrve about the demon faunus she was introducing herself to. After the fight in the hall way, there was an explanation of course that was asked when he got back to the dorm. He did not tell her much, but he did allow for her some knowledge into his life. It was a the least she earned from their fight in the woods over whether not she deserved to be leader. The past couple of months were interesting. The negativity was still on his face as he showed up to the battle. Walking towards the side where Pyrve was, he noticed another person had joined just before him. This wasn´t Aeralin! Great another filthy human he had to be around! He had his swords replaced with noodle swords and just honestly was awaiting for this whole thing to be over with. It was a fight but he was thinking team fight like the exhibition. This, was not what he had in mind.

Nibbie didnt bother to change her outfit for the water fight, most of her life was with a made outfit so it wont be the first time she gets it dirty, Heck it was even full of blood a couple of times. Nibbie came to the area seeing a very familiar face, Nibbie sighed and rolled her eyes at the sight of Rey as she did not like him being so close to Rammie, aspecialy what she heared from Rammie what happened in the hallway that day. Nibbie looked around seeing lots of buckets full of water balloons scattered around the area, she atleast knew what she would be using for this fight. The red twin came behind her sister and tapped her shoulder as Pyrve aproached her "hi, im Nibbie and this is Rammie. It is our pleasure to feed you water and rubber in this lovely morning" Nibbie said with her usual monotonic voice, in her eyes it was a nice way to greet an enemy in a friendly fight. Though one praticularl person she will enjoy stomping in the fight.

When one imagines the word "Water fight," they either imagine a literal water fight, or an elemental battle... Maybe even some ocean fight. The moment team BRAN (not including Aeralin) had signed up, Narky had been vividly preparing for the water fight, as if it were something else entirely. When his mind wasn't playing tricks on him, he was getting swim gear. He ended up with a pair of black swim trunks, with firefly designs on them, making sure his swim trunks had a large pocket. Who knew what was about to be in store in this "water fight." The way the poor guy was taking all of it.. They were going to be fighting mermaids! Underwater at that!! Since diving gear was too expensive, he had bought other stuff for the occasion though. How he was going to be showing up to that event was another thing.
"Flop. Flop. Flop. Flop. Flop..." "These are harder to walk in than in water!" Making way to the meeting point, Narky had to keep an eye on his scroll. Waking up... He could never remember what on earth was happening that day. Much less remember he was awake, and had to get up. Keeping his stuff a secret in the closet in a big bag, and after remembering... He was headed out the door in all his swim stuff once everyone else had left, more so after getting himself ready. Making it there was no easy feat. Instead of sandals or flip flops... Narky was wearing flippers. With his coat left behind, the man was completely bare on the upper half, showing off that pale white skin from avoiding the sunlight a lot. The only thing distinctive to see, was the spiral dragon birthmark on his right shoulder. "We are fighting mermaids! I need to be sure I can walk underwater!" The poor innocent soul. On account of the diving gear too much out of budget, he made amends of it by improvising in his own way. He was wearing a pool floatie of a rubber duck around his waist, and floaties on his arms. There was also... a bucket on his head like a helmet, with two holes in it so he could see.... And his actual weapons for the fight. The two pool noodles being wrapped around his wrists like his sword gauntlets... Made it hard to hang onto anything at all. He was causing a scene of oddity without knowing, however... Four times on the way there... He forgot where he was going. It had to take someone to actually escort him there. On arrival finally... He went to... The wrong side.
"I have made it my team! I am here to fight the mermaids!... I..." ...Wait.... Was his team the twins from the tour? Staring at them blankly from behind the bucket, it wasn't until he saw Rey, the ferocious teammate in danger of his body being taken over (Narky paranoia,) and Pyrve, with a complete stranger. "Miss... I am sorry for being late. Where are the mermaids? Have they grown feet and have become twins?" Turning his attention to Aoibheann, he bowed his head. In doing do, the bucket helmet had been removed, showing off the snowy white hair, and red eyes he was hiding. "If we have m-met miss, I am sorry, b-but I cannot r-remember... Narkyena Ilvenara, and it is nice to meet you. " Turning to Pyrve, his short term memory loss had kicked in, and in turn, he had bowed to Pyrve, and repeated what he had said just moments ago to Aoibheann. Finally, it was Rey's turn. "Sir! I am sorry I am late! Where are the mermaids though.. I was sure there was going to be one! It is no trouble they are not swimming here... I am ready with ahm.. My pool noodles and... This!" Unaware of the rule concerning only water weapons allowed, Narky had taken his secret out from his back pocket. The handy, dandy, fly swatter!!!
Fermi would arrive to the modified courtyard wearing her usual clothes, however, with a water-resistant hooded over coat. Along on her back was a water balloon launcher that she modified for an automatic reload system, which she can connect to a water balloon bucket vacuum. She'd see her team mates had already arrived, so with the launcher on her back and the bucket on her hand, she'd walk towards them and say her greetings. "Well well, you guys got here quite early. I see you've already introduced yourselves to the opposition, I shall do that as well." She'd then face those unfamiliar to her and promptly introduce herself. "The name is Fermi, glad to meet you all, hope we have a fun time!"
She'd see the twins, a guy in flashy swim trunks, an intense looking guy, a weird speaking friendly girl, and Fermi's greatest enemy: A lady showing her skin shamelessly!

Rammie would watch as she pumped up her watergun. The first to arrive was a woman with barely anything on! How were the smaller top holding in so much!? She looked down at her own top. It was more of a purple crop top with pretty tropical flowers on it. Even the bottom that people could see of her bathing suit where a pair of short shorts. She did have the panty style bathing suit under this, but she didn't feel comfortable showing that much skin. Her stomach actually looked quite toned, something that you didn't see when she was wearing her maid outfit.
Then another girl with red hair came in. She didn't really look at her bathing suit, seeing that she was embarrassed that she had seen so much skin on another woman. She would give a small wave to everyone. She would wait until everyone was here. That was how you did it right? She really didn't know if this was the right thing to do.
Then Rey would show up. She felt the anger in her build up. She had a headache for days after he made her bump her head into the wall. She didn't care about the fact that she had been in a headlock, where he tried to steal all of her air. The headache was the worst thing to have happened. She had to control her fangs from growing. She needed Nibbie, why was Nibbie late?
Then her sister showed up. Rammie would go up, and hold Nibbie's arm. She was angry, but she didn't want to show her inner demon today. Holding her sister kept her calm. Her fangs would retreat back into her head. Nibbie introduced her. That was good, but she still wanted to shoot Rey in the face. She knew the rules though, no aiming to maim. She would just have to get him with her bubbles. Yeah, make him stick to something, and then hit him with her big gun. However, she did get a devilish idea. She would look to her sister, hoping with the smile she understood that she wanted to make the ground slick.
Then Narky would join their side. Rammie tilted her head. He had seemed to be afraid of them on the tour. They weren't mermaids though, they were demons. He then went and introduced himself to the scantily dressed one named Pyrve, and the red haired one...she wasn't even going to try to say the name...She knew Rey and Narky.
Then Fermi would come in. She was wearing an overcoat with a water balloon launcher. She would introduce herself to the group. Why was Rammie in the most scantily dressed person on the team? they should have talked about what they were going to wear. She would start playing with her cotton candy blue hair. "When do we start? Where's Osmund?" Her actual voice was very shy, and soft.

XXXAlmost as if perfectly in cue to Rammie's question, the shadow of a goliath would loom over her and Nibbie's small stature. This shadow, of course, belonged to none other than the combat teacher, Rachel Anderson, who got roped into some bullshit shenanigans once again. "Osmund ain't makin' it this time, so ya got me instead. How's that?" She asked bluntly, though it felt more like a statement than anything. Her voice was loud and carried, overpowering the poor Rammie's voice without remorse. As she spoke, the students could see her strikingly defined jaw that fit that more of the apex predator of the sea than a normal person. The rows of razor-sharp, serrated teeth, of course, but also the basic structure with how she talked. "If your class schedule didn't tell ya, I'm Rachel. Or Professor. Or whatever. Look, I'm not good with all this formal biz, okay? I'm just here to drown some kids." After fumbling over her own mess of frustrated words, she'd pass the students a toothy grin. Clearly she ready to mess up someone's day. In one hand, was a large bucket with a tube attached to it. That bucket was filled with water. On her back, was a large container that clearly sloshed around whenever she moved. Frankly, with however many gallons were in it, it should've been super heavy. Not for Rachel, though. The same woman who could straddle a Nevermore had no issue carrying several gallons of water on her back, ready to pump her bucket full again. Leave it to her to decide to use a bucket as a weapon, and you better be damn sure she's gonna use it well. As for what she was wearing, well. Rachel never wore the most modest wardrobe for a teacher as it was, but this time it did without the wavy piece of fabric. Nice and simple, less baggage to get wet and slow her down, the better. Cyan hues glanced over the students. 'Why do so many of them have horns?' ... "This is team FRON, right? Or am I supposed to be over there? " She asked, tilting her head towards the other group of students who, well... Seemed just as unimpressive as this lot. One of them was even wearing flippers, carrying a flyswatter. .. What was this s**t about mermaids?
Seeing how everything was starting to shape up for the water fight, she got even more excited. Everyone was now gathered. It seems the other team was down a member and a professor had to stand in their place. What had her attention right now was Narky. "Dear heavens. This is not the time." She would facepalm herself. "Narky darling. We are not fight mermaids. This is not that type of fight. We are just using water balloons, water guns, pool noodles, and all that stuff." She would have to carefully take the fly swatter away from him seeing as it was illegal to use in this fight. "Plus how are you going to fight in flipper?" She asked him curious as to how he even made it this far with them on. Well she was tending to Narky, she would miss the twins mean mugging Rey. Now with Narky better prepared to battle, she would turn her attention to the rest of the team.
"My apologies. Hey Eevee. Nice to meet you. I'm Pyrve. The leader of team BRAN. Welcome to the team temporarily. I hope you have fun with us." Turning to her other teammate, she had watched his match. She wondered if he would even be of good use in this match. "Congrats on your victory. Well done." She she was giving him praise. As much as he got on her nerves, he was still her teammate and he had won one of the team. Their name was on the map now as having a water festival victor on the team. That made her proud. Hopefully she would have a victory as well in her exhibition match that was later on in the day. "I hope you still have some fight left in you because..." It was time to get this water fight started! With all the members of both teams present, it meant war. Pyrve fired first aiming to soak Professor Rachel before she took off for the maze hopefully with her teammates in tow.
Aoibheann quickly started putting names to faces as the people around her introduced themselves. Matching them up with the names she'd been given, she started getting an idea of who she was teamed with. Others joined in as things progressed, most notable, some boy who looked more like he was prepared for a standup water-themed comedy skit rather than a water fight who was talking about mermaids. She offered an awkward smile as he introduced himself to her, thinking to herself if he was really alright to be doing this. Maybe he'd already spent too much time in the sun as it was.
"Oh, nah. We haven't met yet."Before she could ask if he was alright though, another girl chimed in, clarifying to the boy what was going on and introducing herself as Pyrve. She waved to her in greeting, somewhat relieved that she hadn't needed to address the odd boy, who was called Narky's...well...oddity. She Pyrve started discussing the fight before suddenly aiming at one of the others and opening fire. Aoibheann took up her soaker in response and took aim at the twins. Who, by their introduction, she noted were on the opposing team. Since they were huddled together, seemed an appropriate target before she too ducked into the maze. She'd put some distance between her and the other team if possible and stay low when she felt she put enough distance between them.
Rey would nurse his wounds while they were waiting on the others to get there for the fight. Was it smart to participate after...his exhibition. Probably not, but he was a stubborn goat and tended to not use his Aura unless necessary. It was one of those pride things dating all the way back to his days as a slave. It seems he was going to be around two people that probably dislike him. Now, he truly wish this was a real fight. Rammie was way too cocky and Nibbie seemed like the wanna be hand holder of the group. Scoffing, he continued wrapping himself. A wince or two of pain escaping his lips. Looking up after finishing his taping, he would see Narky and his face just said it all. Looking at his teammate.....he had many questions. ¨Narky, there are no ....********> he commented as yelling at him was just going to cause him more pain. Seeing the fly swatter, a sigh released from his lips. Looking at Narky again, he was about to comment before he noticed something. ¨Who let you get a tattoo? Did a conman trick you Narky? ¨ Rey could not imagine a tattoo being Narky´s idea, but yet there it was. Has it always been there? He would of noticed before right? Then again, he did not try to see Narky shirtless.....Thinking about it carefully, he figured Narky got one of them press on sticker tattoos and placed it there. He did not think it was real.
When the teacher arrived, or more when Rey noticed her presence that she was in the fight and not someone watching over it he grew excited just a little. IF only this was a real fight then this would interesting. But yet, he was stuck with such water based weapons. No bueno. Pyrve would go over to get Narky situated and honestly, he could care less almost at this point on the issue. He just wanted to get this over with. This was not going to be ¨fun¨. Hearing her comment, he looked away with a chuckle. ¨Idiot...¨ he would respond as he was cut off by Pyrve starting the match. The tiger that usually would start it just stared at the girl for a moment before going and curling up on the sideline in the shade. Cereby did not have to do work this time. She was fine with this. Rey would retreat more to the back of their side, not really doing anything. He was just chilling. For now.

Welp, it appears that the fight has started when Pyrve had the first shot after a teacher came to replace Osmund, she honestly could care less about Osmund missing, what did worry her a bit was the new team member known as Rachel, Nibbie had an ominous feeling and felt like the best thing to do is to stay away from her. After clearing her head a bit Nibbie started to get excited, but then she suddenly noticed a tiger in the side just chilling. Her eyes quickly turned blue as she stared at the tiger curiously 'what was it doing here? Interesting...' but that quickly stopped as she felt water splashing her face and saw Aoibheann running away into the maze, Nibbie's eyes turned back to her usual red collor as she putted on a sinister smile and picked up one water balloon for each hand "it apears to me someone is challenging us Rammie, Rey will have to wait for later. You know what to do!" She said as she started running after Aoibheann while throwing one water balloon and mapping the maze in her head, specifically the buckets with all the balloons inside.

The poor teammates. Every reaction thrown was completely blocked out by either vision impairment, or simply swept off in the midst of his memory troubles. Narky felt like a water tank of his own accord, literally standing in a fencer pose, swatter at the ready. That was... Until Pyrve had approached him, taking the fly swatter away! Explaining they weren't fighting mermaids at all, the realization sunk in. Looking to his opponents, then back to Pyrve and his team, he took the pail off his head. "....." If the Jeopardy theme song could have been played, it would have been perfect for the thought process he was trying to conclude. "OH!" Making a chuckle, Narky looked down to his feet, before sitting down to take them off. "I am sorry... I had thought... We were going to be fighting underwater... water items only. got it! You can count on me miss!" Simply laughing the embarrassment off, his attention had shifted to the opponents final teammate. "WOAH~!!!!!!!!" Eyes sparkling like bright, crystallized cherries, the flippers had been set out of his mind. When had the fourth arrived!? Making way to the border, his mouth hung open in a perfect "O" shape, staring up at the teacher. "Their team gets an amazonian princess!?" Mistaking Rachel for something she was not, his energy was picking up, already wanting to try writing a story of such. Should he bow!? Praise!? There was Nibbie in her maid outfit, and Fermi who had arrived as well. Maybe Nibbie was this Amazonian's maid! Was Rammie fired!? All the ideas to work with here!!!! Unfortunately, his book was unable to be brought along with him. No writing for the fairy tale man! The most he could do was stare in awe, before hopping back away to remove the last flipper off his foot.
Of course, with no book with him, he was already at a slight disadvantage. Having to leave it behind, his straggling mind was kicking back attention towards the fly swatter. "Ah... I lost it..." Forgetting Pyrve had taken it away, he stared vacantly down at his hands, towards the pool noodles tied on his wrists. ......Oh right!" Looking to Eevee then, Narky had reapproached, taking off the pool floaties off his arm. "Ah... " A few moments ago, he had already introduced himself. However, he was about to reintroduce. It wasn't until he looked to his team leader had he remembered, bowing his head quickly. "Please excuse me... I-if you need to borrow something there is no need to ask Miss Eevee." Truly kind intentioned, his young, eagerly swampy mind, was on the rails. The longer the fight would take to start, the more he was going to be in this matter. Rey had luckily cut into the mind phasing, When he looked to the goat faunus, his heart dropped! "Oh no!!! Are you alright Sir!?" What happened!? Did he bump his head off a low hanging door, and fall down a set of stairs!? He himself had done such a thing many times!!!! It wasn't until self reminder, had he concluded from Pyrve's geeting, that the man had just fought not to long ago. "You're fighting in this condition!? Please! Hide behind me should you feel you are in peril! They have an Amazonian princess on their side now! She might be hiding a water nymph!" Huh?" tattoo? Looking down at himself in confusion, his gaze rested on his birthmark. On his right shoulder, there was that dragon shaped birthmark. Beaming a giant smile at his teammate, he simply laughed with full innocence. "No sir! I've had it all my life! M-my grandma used to tell me... It was a mark of destiny for stories untold! No tattoo could ever make my birthmark look like something else entirely." Narky would have commented more, but the sound of running water had him swivel around to the others. Pyrve!? She was shooting water at the Amazonian!!!!! With Nibbie and Rammie joining in, and Eevee running into the maze, Narky paid no attention to anything else. A switch had went off metaphorically in his head. From space cadet Narky, his wandering eyes cleared up. Was the fight beginning? Clearly, it was! With them spraying and throwing water back and forth, he himself, had discarded all the stuff he brought along, save for the pool noodles. "Going ahead in!!" In a frontal slouch, he purposely dragged the pool noodles against the ground, running into a full assault form for the maze. On this process he was picking up excess water that could potentially remain on the ground in small puddles, ducking and weaving the best he could.
