Teams arrive on scene to see the courtyard has been transformed. Several temporary walls, obstetrical, ramps and platforms have been set up, turning the once open courtyard into a maze where teams will need to battle it out for a tactical position and be wary of an ambush around the next turn. At the center of the maze lay an open area separating the two halves of the courtyard. You can attempt to dash across, or try to sneak around either side within the walls, or perhaps stand in the middle and try to goad others into coming out into the open to fight. Within the maze and the open area, refill stations have been set up, where participants can grab more pool noodles, refill their water guns or grab more water balloons. Be warned though. If you damage the courtyard, you'll have a very upset Deputy Headmistress to face.
1. The water fight consists of 4 v 4 teams. Each 4 on 4 match will be in its own thread in the combat thread to avoid congestion/too many people posting in the same thread. 2. As this is a fun event, combat rules will not apply (ie whoever is the highest level wins), and there will be no winners or losers, unless both teams want to treat it like combat, in which case you'll need to agree on how you want to determine winners and loser before starting. 3. Each person is allowed one water weapon of their choice. (Super soaker, water balloon launcher, ect) 4. Semblances are allowed 5. If you intentional harm another participant you will be removed. (Please contact a crew if a character gets violent) 6. Reparations will be required if the courtyard is damaged. This may be in the form of repaying Beacon for the repairs or community service.
Azura was the first to arrive at the courtyard, as per usual. Part of her habit of always being prepared meant she was always early. She set her bag and towel down in the safe/out of bounds zone, before stripping off her sarong to reveal her 'battle bikini' underneath. It was just her regular beach bikini in all honestly, but the members of team PUNS wouldn't leave it as something so mundane. Her bag had the usual first aid kit, some bottles of water, snacks and sunscreen, of course, the last of which she took out and started slathering on her skin. As for her weapon, she had gone to Kirien's Squirt-Stack and bought a Super Soaker 900. A long-range, high precision water gun that was surprisingly similar to her rifle. All she needed to do was find a sniper nest on the course and take out their enemies!

Ferra scampered out itno the area she was told to go to for her water fight. She didn't really bother with her actual swimsuit. Not that she didn't like it. It was really cute, but, she though the dark tank top and shorts she had on were better suited for this. They really didn't have anything even remotely close to what she usually used, but, it was all for fun and her semblance was pretty well-suited to help make up for the lack of preferred weapon style. As such, she was armed with a pool noodle.
”BEWARE NOODLE'S NOODLE OF DOOM!” She was obviously exited, her bushy tail all poofed out and whipping around wildly, ears perked and eyes gleaming with it. She might not be well equipped to get many strikes in, but, she was bursting with energy and ready to, possibly in the most literal of ways, run circles around her opponents. Prince actually had something to look forward to. While mostly kept in the dark about the team changes due to being away back at home to visit with his mother Rukia, he was back in time for the water festival .He did not know the people he was teamed up with but he felt it was going to be an intriguing time. It was not a serious fight but a water fight. Walking onto the battlefield taking the opposite direction of the other two arrivals he had to get his sniper rifle checked. They thought it was a real gun but in fact it was a water gun. It shot water bullets. (Link provided if needed be). With his semblance, it will make it more and more devastating getting pelted with the water bullets. Were there any mods to it? Besides assisting with range and velocity. NO, but that was just a simple tweak that Kirien chick did. Either way, he would not introduce himself to those already there. He seemed distracted, but he couldn´t figure out what was distracting him. He was wearing his swimming attire with his shirt off.

Crunch! Crunch! Crunch! The sand was crying out as the man crushed it beneath his feet. He pants heavily as he makes it to their fight. Locks dancing, but bound by the gray band holding them together. Clad in a full body gray swimsuit with black mesh on the wings of his torso and thighs for maximum movement. He approaches his teammate with a large smile, "Azu-zoo! I see you're here first as always!" he laughs. He bends over and catches his breath. "I gotta do more cardio!" he says to no one in particular. He hair falls from behind his shoulder and dances freely a bit around his face before he straightens his back. His brown eyes shines bright in the sun as he checks out his teammates battle attire. He circles around her and nods as he holds his chin in his hand grunting in approval. "Yup. This Battle Bikini is gonna look great for Cecil!" he chuckled. "After all," he grins as he slides in next to her, "....he lo-o-o-o-ooooves you!" he whispers. He laughs loudly at the the predicted results. After wiping his eyes he notices others with him. One armed with a pool noodle. "I hope she's on our side!" he thinks. Adam looks around the beach and smiles as he remembers his first bonding experience, that didn't involve physical pain, was the beach. Dunking his friends, tasting ice cream fror the first time and his hilarious attempt at Volleyball. That last one was one he was not proud of at all, but loved it none the less. He looks back to Azura and says, "Where's taht flowey part that goes around the waist? A 'sayoung' or whatever it's called." he asked curiously. He approaches the excited faunus with his fist held out. He kneels down to her height and says, "Hi. I'm Adam. Who are you?" he asked with a smile. He also waved to the man who joined them and asked the same question as he introduced himself.

Cecil walked out onto his team's side, trailing along the middle as the battle had yet to start, looking to see Ferra scamper in, and his two best friends having arrived. Cecil was at his bare feet, a scarf around his neck, and his swimming trunks. He did not have much else but his aura was activating as per usual before he grabbed out one of the pool noodles before heading back to his teammate. He could see Adam being out of breath as he chuckled a bit and soon said. "You need to start doing nightly runs, sleeping when you're out of breath is best for you." He told him with a smirk before he set the pool noodle over his shoulder as he saw the bikini Azura wore. He smiled and waved at her. "Glad to see you taking the pressure off, this is going to be exciting isn't it?" He told her as he was going to enjoy himself while his area began to drop in temperature slowly.

Swimsuit: Swimsuit A water festival.. How enthralling and exciting~. Sasselia had been looking forward to some fun under the sun, among the student body for a special occasion. For a long few months, her mind was in turmoil from her mission, and her life trying to stop her dreams. This kind of occasion was the perfect chance to let herself be calm, and just enjoy herself with her team. Out of all her teammates however, Rosa decided not to sign up with them, which lead to the fourth being a mystery. She knew all the opponents already, having been in a class with them before, but their forth was also a mystery to her. As such, her recent new teammate Inari was also joining, which was fantastic. She knew most to nothing of the new teammate, hoping this fun battle would allow some insight for sure. Three new potential friends in the end? What a lovely concept to imagine. She wouldn't mind making friends with others, should they be kind enough to get passed her shy disposition.
Having been aiming for punctuality, Sasselia had went ahead from the team room, in hopes to be one of the first. Adorning in a two pieced bathing suit, sticking with bikini shorts for the bottoms for better maneuverability. On hand was a pool noodle, and a small light blue bag with her belongings in it. With some difficulty however on directioning through to the are, the other team was already accounted for. Azura, Adam, she knew well enough, casting a friendly wave their way. To Ferra and Cecil, she had simply bowed her head in hello, before making her way to the mystery teammate. "H-hello!" Bowing her politely to Prince, Sasselia kept her smile bright and shy like sunlight, gripping the pool noodle she had brought with her as a weapon. "Prince N-Nakamura correct? I am sorry for n-not b-being so punctual as you... I hope we can get along fantastically and enjoy ourselves. Oh!! M-my apologies!! " With a fluster, she bit her lips, forgetting an important factor. "I am Sasselia Argenia, of Team Sakura. My c-companions should be along soon enough as well, last I checked they were just getting ready."

So this was the day, huh? His team mates were announced, and he would be finishing his training, which honestly, he felt wasn't much of a challenge. He's done tougher regiments, and surviving in the forest, using his semblance, and even practicing with weapons and fighting was a breeze for him. His master really did teach him well, so that was a plus. And on top of that, he was to be in a team of all girls!? Perfect! [blonder where they are, though... oh wait, there they are!" He said, as he approached the two. Sasselia, Tessa, and even Rosa which was a huge surprise. He didn't think he'd be placed in the same team with her, but he was pretty happy about it. Now he could finally treat her to that lunch that she gave him those three months ago. "Hey ummm... Usien, right? Nice to meet you! And you too captain! Looking cute as always!" He would say to Sasselia with a wink. His weapon was an AR-style water gun, with the water tank being the magazine. It was the only one he thought would have good fire power, and could soak people up. "So! How are we doing this?" He said, seeing Ferra and her pool noodle. She was gonna be tough, because of how fast she is.
A normal girl with Tessa's skin likely wouldnt go out for any sort of beach party without a large amount of high SPF lotion, but like others at the academy Tessa wasnt exactly normal and wasnt going to let albinism get in the way of some summertime fun. She approached in her own take on swimwear which was, strangely enough, a halter bikini covered in white leather all along the exterior and came with a sarong thick matching belt along her waist. She smiled as she approached her team, not aware or acknowledging the bouncing her body did within her bikini, and cradled what looked to be a scaled up rotary grenade launcher , the cylinder of which held jostling colorful water balloons. "Hel-loo comrades" the towering faunus beamed at her captain and squad "It's a beautiful day for a beautiful battle, 'Krieg Fir Odin!' " She released her weapon, letting it settle at her hip on a strap along her shoulder, so she could take Sasselia's hands in hers and raise them up in a cheer as she shouted "SKRA!" a running joke that wound up being their team's battle cry. Tessa giggled at this before glancing at Cecil and smirking "Good morning Cecil, I trust you'll be able to fight today without ptsd from your near suffocation in my cleavage setting in?"

Azura gave a friendly smile and a wave to Adam. "I suppose that is one solution." Her lips twitched a bit in amusement. Adam got the most cardio by far out of the four members of team DARK. He ran everywhere either because he thought he was late or he was late. Maybe she would get him a watch for his birthday. "What are you-" She started to ask when Adam started circling her, but then he cut her off by saying she looked great for Cecil. "O-of course he does. Why shouldn't I look great!" She could feel her face turning several shades of red. Her lesson with Rikker had made some improvements, but she still had a long way to go.
Luckily the moment was broken by a flying Ferrat. And by Cecil arriving. How much of that had he heard? "Exciting...yes." She nodded while glancing over at Adam and Ferra. "Who do you think has more energy?" Maybe Cecil wouldn't notice her red face if she distracted him with something else. Given Ferra's entrance and Adam's Adamness, she was feeling a bit bad for the other team. "sr-aang." She enunciated for Adam. "Why?" What was he planning on doing with her beach skirt? Last time he had managed to get it soaked. Maybe she should move her bag further away. "Help me." She mouthed at Cecil. She gave one less worried look at her things before following Adam. "I suppose we should-" She was going to say introduce ourselves, but instead she groaned as a familiar albino rhino entered the scene. They just had to be going up against Tessa. While Cecil seemed to enjoy their rivalry, Azura would much rather focus on becoming the best Grimm killer she could be.
A chill filled the air. She had a feeling Beacon was going to regret allowing semblances. Cecil was certainly planning on going in hot....or cold as it was. When she caught up to Adam giving introductions...well sort of rudely asking who everyone was rather than introducing himself, she smiled. Sass and Tessa, she knew of course. "That's Adam." She told them with an apologetic tone. "I'm Azura and this is Cecil. Ferra, you're with us. It looks like everyone is here so should we get started?" She decided ignoring the cleavage comment was the best way to go.

Ferra was occupied playing with the pool noodle as a boy approached her and knelt down to introduce himself. She dropped the noodle, catching it in her mouth, and went back to all fours, twisting her body at a sharper than usual angle, and swung around his side before starting to run around on all fours. She circled a couple times and then scampered up his back, holding a shoulder with one hand and raising the noodle in the other like a sword raised aloft. ”Ferra is Ferra! And she will vanquish all her foes with her Noodle of Doom!”
Just as abruptly as she had darted around him, she launched off his shoulder to sit on her haunches on the ground, waving energetically at Inari as she saw him looking over at her. As playful as she was being, she was showing off just how agile and quick she was, not to mention how quickly she reacted. Prince´s distraction was apparent but nothing that he could not handle. Well hopefully. He would end up coming across a man who asked for his name. He did not seem familiar to him at all, but he had a rather excited feel to him. He did not seem like a threat either. Maybe, this would turn out to be fun after all? He should not be worried right? Everything was in the past. It was months ago. Yet, why did he feel uneasy. ¨Call me Prince.."Usien would respond to Adam . As time went on another would enter but he seemed to be on the enemy side. In fact, it appeared that he was good friends with the woman who was the opposition. After him came a woman and a new set of tests for Usien. Drifting off into space as she was introducing herself to the opponents, he would turn to look right at Sasselia as she bowed. His eyes catching a nice glance or two that caused a faint crimson to his face. She seemed shy as well but it was not crippling to her. Usien did not even notice his was not as crippling either. Maybe he had coffee before the match and did not remember his caffeine intake. When she knew his name, his heart stopped a little. How did she know? There were many rational ways of her to know his name. In fact, it be unsurprising if she did not but Usien felt like it was because rumors spread about the Alpha cave. Luckily this was not the case. She did not come with hostility.
¨NO need to apologize. It is fine. Prince Nakamura is correct. Nice to meet you miss Argenia. Let us have fun no?¨ He questioned flashing a small smile before seeing her companions show up. Another male and a ....giant faunus? ¨Usien is correct but Prince is my go to name. ¨ he would quip quickly before looking up at Tessa and her big weapon. He thought his sniper was pushing it...but she had a whole grenade launcher for water balloons! Looking at her actions, he would look confused. What was she doing to Sa..... Jumping from the SKRA cry, he was curious what was that about!! It did not matter, the battle was about to begin.
A large black tiger that had red markings on it would sit on a little moving robot that was carrying the tiger for some strange reason. Jumping off of it and stretching its legs, the tiger would run towards the middle of the arena between the two teams. On each side of the tiger there was a big sign written in the most improvised of ways that stated ON MY RAWR, BEGIN THE FIGHT! The tiger would point its tail towards Azure´s team before point it to the opposite direction of Sass´s team. After a few seconds between the last tail point, the tiger would look into the sky and rawr mightly before scurrying away. Who was this tiger? It was Cereby, and she was doing the job of a certain lazy security guard.

The number of people for the fight were pulling in from both sides, and Sasselia was hoping to anticipate herself to the best of her ability. Deemed from Tessa's tribe as the "Knight of the Cerulean Sky," she had been taking into initiative to improve, and uphold what was taught to her. Sasselia was at least able to take note on their opponents, feeling the slight chill emanating from their end by a male she wasn't sure of entering. Adam and Azura were another story, having taken survival class with them both. Both of them were going into their own conversation, which had Azura make an abrupt comment that she was only able to hear. Weren't they a quiet person? How odd to hear that coming from Azura. Such a thing was no bother for her. Their smaller companion (Ferra,) was a newer person she had no intel for. Sass, however, was in slight bliss. "oh!!!! She's like a fluffy stuffed plushie!!" Watching Ferra maneuvering around excitedly was all too adorable for words. Those on her side were carrying the same amount of acceptance, as equality was the way of things.
In Prince's case, Sasselia had heard about the Alpha cave incident, but she was too busy worrying about her own stuff to go butting into someone else's problems. His blush had went over her head when she bowed, bringing her own kind smile forward. "Of course! I-I am looking forward to this fun e-expedition. I hope my semblance will benefit a good use for u-us, and that, at the end of it all, we all do our very best!" Before more could have been spoken, her attention had shifted to their remaining two teammates. Inari had arrived with greetings, with Sasselia blushing at the comment. "Ah! Th-thank you! I tried to pick something functional a-and easy to move about in! I-I only hope it works." With a nervous laughter, her mood went back to positive when Tessa had arrived, clearly just as excited for the match as well. "I wish I had th-the confidence to pull such a lovely swimsuit off!" Armed with a grenade launcher, she was a beautiful force to be reckoned with, to say the least. "It is indeed Tessa!" With a bright smile received to all her teammates, she cheered along with Tessa once her hands were taken, making the best "SKRA~!!!!" Cry she was able to.

A bit chirpy but strong, Sasselia could handle it. Poor Prince though. He was clearly a bit confused, and she couldn't blame him one bit. Once Tessa had turned to Cecil, there was no hiding the red flare of crimson from her face on the words thrown at Cecil. "-Suffocation from cleavage!?" She had heard of the fight, but had it gone to that extreme!? To hide her fluster, Sasselia would pass on the chain of command, taking both Inari's and Prince's hand into her. "L-let's go team~!" Copying the same cheer, question from Inari had her deadbolt. "O-oh!! Uhm.. I-I don't know!" The question in itself had been answered before she could ponder. Out of nowhere, a robotic noise neared, and a tiger was riding on top of it with a sign. "A...A tiger!?" More lost on the notion than scared, Sasselia could only keep her crimson hues on the beast, as it made way to the middle. "Guess th-this is it!" More so in her head she had said this, and Sasselia looked across to the other team. To them she bowed respectively, both hands gripping her water weapon. "May we all enjoy this b-bountiful day of fun and fight. I look forward to seeing wh-what we all have in store for one another~. I hope it is of no hard f-feelings should we potentially win, b-but I know you all will make it a challenge." Looking to Ferra then, Sass giggled at their comment, in utmost agreement. However, them showing off their agility would prove to give this maze of combat they were all walking into quite a show. "Good luck~!
With the call of the fight starting, Sasselia looked to her team. I'll go get myself s-set up." Nodding her head, she pursued at a moderate speed into the maze, keeping her attention on full alert.
Adam crossed his arms a bit upset. "From what I read on Rem-Teen Magazine that's not how your supposed to react to your lady in a bikini." he said jokingly matter-of-factly. Adam deadpanned at Cecil, "You know good and well that nighttime is snack time and I WON'T snack and cardio at the same time. Blasphemer!" he exclaims. "Prince it is." he smiles at the man. He looks to the right and recognizes the blue-haired woman. "Hey! She's from that one place from that one time!" he thinks as returns her wave. Another challenger approaches and he seems to be on their team. Adam would get his name later. He turns his attention back to Deadly. "What do you mean 'why'? I just wanted to know what it was called." he said with a mischievous glint in his eye. "A sayoung? Saryoon... harpoon? ...pudding?" Bless his heart, the loveable buffoon. He notices her inches her bag away from him. "Heh heh heh!" he snickers before blur crosses his path. He tries his hardest to keep up with the small scamperer. She made her way up his back. "Whoa!" he exclaims with a huge smile. "Ferra is Ferra! And Adam is ADAM!" he shouts after she jumps from his shoulders. "To victory! The Noodle will lead the way! FOR THE NOODLE!!" he gets on all fours and chases her around. He's not as fast as her, nor does his body support this type of movement, but it's fun all in the same. He laughs as he fails to keep up with her but keeps trying. Another familiar face shows; it's Tessa clad in a leather bikini. He skids to a halt. "I didn't even know they made things like that." he muttered as he thought about getting one for himself. "Nope!" he said with a popping noise. "I'd definitely drown." he chuckled. Considering it would have to be full-bodied the idea was ridiculous. "She's very bouncy. Doesn't that get uncomfortable?" he thought to himself. "Do all girls go through this? I thought they needed more support." he mulled. "Welp!" another popping noise. "It looks good on her!" he said. "Hi, Tessa!" he waved as she walked towards Cecil. The next thing he heard left his mind blank for a second. "H-huh?" he uttered. Then it clicked. "Pffft! Cecil nearly got bodied by boobies." he snickered to himself. He placed both his hands over his mouth hoping Azura didn't hear him. He looked to the side at her without moving his head. "I think I'm in the clear." he thought. Adam's eyes slowly followed the object making it's way in-between teams. "I want one!" he points at it while looking at Cecil. He knelt down to read the sign. "'On my Rawr Begin th- Holy!" he shouts as he launched towards his team from the roar. "It's evil! It's evil!" he says scrambling to his feet! His heart was running a mile a minute. "Oh... we start now, right?!" he shouts because of his ringing ears.

The moment Tessa appeared in front of them, Inari basically just went all wide eyes "Whoa, look at the size of those..... balloons.... Water balloons! I didn't know they had water balloon grenade launchers. Yeah, that's what I meant.!" Inari would say to her as Tessa would say the battlecry the team made. As she leaped up to say the cry, Inari's eyes never escaped her.... water balloons, so to say. "Eh? Oh! SKRRAAA!!!" He said with them. He knew Prince must have been the most confused out of the three. He wasn't part of the team, so it would make sense. There was something odd about him though. What was up with the rumors of him at the Alpha cave some months ago? So far, most of the people from that mission seemed to be damn near pissed or even depressed. Regardless, it's time for the festival. Inari now just wanted to spray them with water and win. As the robot monitor with a black and red tiger would announce the match to begin, Inari would see his captain Sasselia respectfully bow to the enemy as well as wish them good luck. "Get ready to get your noodle a** kicked! HYAAAA!!!" Inari would scream with a battle cry rushing headfirst hand on his water gun. As he would rush in closer, he'd pull the trigger and begin spraying at Cecil's general direction.
