Background
James joined the Rangers due to a love of the outdoors. Initially serving as a normal infantryman to patrol the northern regions of Canada, eventually became the primary transportation officer, before the loss of the unit's medic, at which point he stepped into that role.

JM also, being interested in seeing more locations, signed up for elective duty to be loaned to another branch or country.

Background:
Alexi was born in a small Russian town outside of Moscow. As he was a kid his father went to war in Afghanistan and never returned. His mother died shortly after the fall of the USSR when he decided to join the FSB (Federal Security Service). His wife fell ill and passed away after the birth of his daughter (now 10 years old). Wanting a better life for his daughter he decided to apply for citizenship in the USA. His first application wad denied, that's when he decided to try to gain citizenship by joining the US Military. Now he's a low ranked private in the USMC, but keeps his optimism and often comes off as a father figure to his fellow soldiers.
