The caravan entered between the two decorated trees that served as a gate into the A'D, following along the path to the market center. The colorful silk banners above his head always made Tahmid smile. He wasn't sure who had put them there other than obviously a flying Star. Though the herd didn't have too many of those, it could have just as easily been one of the other traders or someone who was traveling with a caravan who decided the entrance needed a bit more color. Either way, it didn't really matter. Whoever did it, he was grateful for it. It really gave the place a friendly welcome. Every time he came back, he swore he found a new trinket hanging from a tree. Seashells, acorns, dried flowers, bone jewelry. Anything small enough that could be hung there was hung there. It even trailed along the other trees straight to the center of trade, where a few stalls were already set up by traders who had arrived ahead of his own caravan. As his neared this place, he spied something else waiting for him. Or, rather, someone.
Breaking off from the others, the stallion approached the other Star, bowing low as he got close enough, trying to keep his back from arching too much so the bags on his back didn't slide. "My Prince," he said clearly, trying to hide a smile under his down-turned muzzle and in his voice, but he was sure he was failing at it. "I knew to find you waiting. You will be delighted to know I have acquired some fine jewelry and pretty stones on my travels."
