Mythbusters/White Rabbit Project/Bill Nye
Lawrence is not a TV man, but like a man loves his bawdy romance novels so too does a man love a good show of science and entertainment. He doesn't care who's hosting Mythbusters, he wants tyo see the experiments! White Rabbit was amazing, but now her's disappointed there's no more -- the expnts. Bill Nyew? Every man woman and child needs the science guy. Lawrence gets giddy over these shows specifically and sometimes uses weekend time to craft and recreate the less destructive experioments, evben finding ways to include his own flair for work from these shows./ Besides, who doesn't want a 21 cheese cannon salute?

Lawrence is a failed rocket scientist because he doesn't entirely understand quantum physics, onbly normal physics, which has also meant the man feels unable to apply to NASA for work. He's bitter and will get vindictive about this failing. But it hasn't ruined his love of space. He owns a telescope anmd uses it to admire stars and planets and unopfficially hunt for Planet Nione. Lawrence loves every fact, figurew, and datapoint. He's That Guy who couldn't chase the passion, but found a way to keep it close, especially now he's getting to bonnd to his daughter and his wife. Space is hids passion his pleasure, and he'll share all he can of it, even his wall of space books.
Arts/Crafts
Like hius daughter, Lawrence is trying to master craftas. However, his is a recent dive into the hobby because it brings hjis daughter joy. Nevermind how useful it is for class, Lawrence likes doing crafts with his now-adult daughter, making the things she asks to do with him. Some things dot his desk, and while not many, knowing hjis own daughter, an accident or noit, loves him enough to give him her hard work or their combined work makes this special to him, and helpos him think in new ways abouyt physics. She's taught him something precious, and he will always treasure that.

Man of his word
When Lawrence makes a promise, Lawrence makes a peomisae and keeps it, even if it chafes him. He always does his best to fulfill his promises when given, from feeding a coworker's fat gopldfish to babysitting a colleague's child. Lawrence is open abot how much his promises are worth, and people know if he gives his word, he'll honor it, which people arte often more grateful for than he thinks -- becvause it is a rare trait in some lives, and has even helped his career as an educator. People know they can come to him, ask a poromise for confidentiality, or aid, and he'll follow through, often resulting in stiudents or staff surprising
Loving
If one gets to know Lawrence, he is a loving sort, even if he covers it up. He simply hates to let others suffer his ire unless they can handle it and reserves his tenderness for those he's close to, dominantly, his wife and daughter. He'll never admit being a giewnt lovebug, of course, but his former students talk of him like a stern father to those who need it, and he often downpolsays it, despite being pleased deep down anyone sees him as a father figure.
Altruistic
Lawrence is not a selfish man. If someone needs help, Lawrence will help. If Lawrence finds some useful dayta at work over the summer, he takes no credit. Lawrence prefers working tio the betterment of all instyead of the one, and will aggressively defend this position. Good acts should benefit all, not the one, and Lawrence refuses tyo assllow people to suffer if he can do something for them. Please -- it's all any devent human would do, no repayment needed.

Difficult
Lawrence's wife would call him an a*****e. Cherish's mother would call him an asshjole. Many people don't know he's a decent man because Lawrence has exacting standards for the people he fills leisure time witrh and he will often argue, or come off as hostile and argumenrtarive, as a defensive me chjanism. He's a pill and a half to get along with at first. Maybe it isn't wrong as a description. Who knows. He'll never tell.

'Shame' is not part of Lawrence's lexicon. His misadventures in high school resulted iin kids? Well his daughter loves him, and she's hap[py. This fills him with pride. He has a happy, successful wife. He's proud of her and her career. He's a physicist working as a teacher at DCU every semester but summer. He worked hard to be something productive. Even though he resents his failings, he buries them with his pride in his accomplisdhments. And boy, will he ytell you about them. His wallet is full of photos of his wife and child, he proudly brags about his favorite students, and he's just a vain b*****d about everythiong. Shame -- he has so little it's not worth writing home about. He probably should look the word 'humility' up, really.

If you have made Lawrence wroth, then you know ytou. Are. Bonewd.. Lawrence's fury is rival to that of a catergory 4 hurricane -- loud, destructive, and frightening. While he will never harm someone, he will cutr to the bone explaining what you did wrong, how you ******** up, and how he expects you to fix it. Lawrence rarely yerlls, too, instead using body language and height to intimidate and accent points, and one can tell from tone how angry he is. Lawrence is terrifying angry, and nobody likes being around when Hurricane Lawtrence arrives. Noone.
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
Eyes: Ice blue, western european descent, specifically the blend found in Scottish-English descent. He also has lashes that match his pale blonde hair.
Hair: Lawrence has pale, nigh-platinuim blonde hair trhat rests on his shoulders and down to themiddle of his shoulderblades. He often wears a braid on the left side of his hjead behind his left ear, and sometimes behuind both, something he finds makes his daughter smile. He's also very known to leave a flower in his hair or a fewather from his wife or child, and will act completely serious despite it. If they want to play with his hair, and he whole-heeartedly welcomes it..
Face: Lawrence has a long heart shaped face with a slight hook nose and full lips for a medium sized mouth.
Skin Tone: PALE, unless he's spent time iun the suyn.// He's Scottish-British descent, and somehow the man only tans, never burns.
Body Type: Lawrence is basically a noodle and the fact he can probavbly punch a man out is never expected.
Clothes: Lawrence basically tries to dress professionally. Khaki bottoms and sweaters and polos in bnblacks, greys, purples, magentas, reds, and dark browns combined with brown loafers please. When he reads, he needs reading glasses, but otherwise his vision is actually fine.
