Prompt
Tendaji is filled with a wide array of wildlife, some friendly and some a bit dangerous. It's rare that an inhabitant of the world will spend a day without encountering a wild creature in passing, be it from hunting, traveling, or even taking care of a pet. The creatures of this world only seem to add to the colorful experiences that Earthlings, Aishans, and Kahikinans have each and every day.
[ For this prompt, we want you to pick one (or more) fauna in Tendaji and have your character encounter them in some way. Maybe it's catching a new pet, or animal watching, or maybe it's a hunting trip. Take some time to explore the flora and fauna thread and create a story around your character's experience with the creature(s). ]

[Betoto]
Betoto made her way through the winding stumps of trees through the sandy terrain. She knew the Scorras would be just through these trees, as they always tended to be there in the early hours of the morning. The sun was just peaking over the horizon and after seeing them in her line of sight, noticed that most were still cleaning their feathers from their own night's rest.
Betoto sat on one of the roots that poked from the ground and began making small mimicked noises to try and get their attention.

Orin had been up since before dawn, trying to work on his techniques with his fairly new swords. They had just picked up his order from the blacksmith in Jauhar when the triplets had decided it was time to move on and head toward Tale.
That was fine with him though, he wasn't that big of a fan of Jauhar. The eternal darkness and duskiness from the thick forest was not for him. Tale was much brighter, much dryer, and reminded him of home. It was a much better change of scenery.
He had been at it for about an hour before he started to hear the strangest noises ring out in the air. What the hell was that? It didn't sound like any animal he had heard so far.

It was about ten minutes of Betoto trying her calls before she realized the animals had no interest in her. Giving a small huff, she stood up to get closer. There was a light tan Scorra curled into itself on the floor, with watchful eyes.
Betoto realized too late that she was too close, when the Scorras gave a large squawk and quickly stood up. A yell escaped her lips as she fell back, landing flat on her behind. 'Ow that's going to hurt' She thought as she began scooting back to give more space to the creatures once again.

Orin had sheathed his swords and followed the noises through the underbrush before he saw a brown haired girl twisting her mouth in the weirdest ways to make the sounds he was hearing. "Are... you alright?" He asked her as he approached.
She must not have heard him because she had stood up and hunched over to get closer to one of the scorra on the ground. She fell backwards and yelled and Orin let out a small 'oof' for her. "Hey, are you alright?" He asked again louder this time.

Betoto heard someone behind her and she gave another yelp. She wasn't expecting anyone would be here. She turned and noticed red eyes staring at her. "Oh! Yeah I'm okay!" She said quickly as she stood up and wiped the dust off her legs. The Scorras all squawked and stood up, quickl to keep their distance from the two.
She looked back up at the guy before her and looked nervous. "How long have you been here?" She asked, hoping he didn't hear her earlier.

Orin cocked an eyebrow at her response. ”Long enough to hear you honking at the birds.”
”What is that anyways? A mating call?” He poked fun, smirking at the leaf girl as he teased her. He could come off as a jerk, that much he knew, but the words were out of his mouth before he could all them back, and really, he didn’t try to stop them. They sounded about right to him.

She was taken aback by the voice and the eyes looking back at her. This... was odd. "Are you...?" Her voice trailed off while she furrowed her brows. "Aeuri? How... your hair..." She was at an initial loss for words. She had met Aeuri not long ago and was to be traveling with him, but this was definitely not him.
"What are you?" She blurted out. She couldn't help but put her hands over her mouth as soon as the words left. It could have been put better, but she couldn't unsay it now.

Orin cocked his head to the side and looked at the leaf girl with confusion on his face. "A... person?" He replied. It took him only another second to realize he had heard his brother's name. The question now was... did he run with it? Was it worth playing a game with this girl and pulling one over on her?
"I am Aeuri. What are you talking about?" He tried to put his best Aeuri eyes on. His brother was much more timid than him, and it was hard to put away any attitude that might be showing on his face.

Betoto blinked wide eyed, her hands still on her face. Aeuri... He had to be kidding right? "No... I mean... I met Aeuri. You're... not him? His hair is short. He's... well, I mean, he looks just like you." She was sputtering out her words now. There was no way that Aeuri grew out his hair in just a day. "I just saw him... you... I mean."

Orin put his hands behind his head and grinned at the girl. She still wasn't sure what was going on, but she was determined to not believe him. Not so bad on her part.
"Alright, fine. Orin. How's it going?" He offered her a hand. "Did Aeuri not tell you he was a triplet? That's bad manners on his part." He pursed his lips and waited for her to respond.

There were more of him? More of Aeuri... well, not Aeuri. "Triplet??? Oh my! There are three of you? Are you all identical?" She asked the boy in front of her. Orin was probably very close to the opposite of his brother.
"I'm Betoto. I was... well... I guess you could say I was relaxing." She was definitely a self-proclaimed animal lover and her toxic trait was probably thinking that she could pet and befriend anything that crossed her path.

Orin laughed out at Betoto's reaction. "Well... not quite identical. One of us doesn't have the same... equipment." He chuckled at his own joke. "We have a sister, Nasuri."
"It's a weird way to relax. I wouldn't put honking as a relaxing activity." He turned his head to look behind Betoto at the mob of scorra beyond the trees. "You probably shouldn't get the attention of a herd of wild animals though." He offered for advice.

Betoto didn't follow the joke. He laughed but she was only more confused, until he explained himself. "Oh! Equipment." She blushed furiously and awkwardly laughed out with him. Well, he wasn't lying.
He offered his advice and she crossed her arms across her chest. "Well, I suppose you might be right, but they're just scorra. How dangerous could they be?" She twisted to look at the large flightless birds and then back to Orin. "I guess I don't have any time left to relax anyways now." She semi-complained. "I have to pack to travel. We're supposed to be leaving soon."

Orin put two and two together fairly quickly and raised his eyebrows. "You're coming with us then?" He asked her. They were also traveling across Tendaji, and it would be right in Aeuri's nature to invite another person along. Probably was too polite and shy to turn her down. "Well... I guess it's another body to keep us company."
"Well if you're heading back into town, let me walk with you. Make sure you don't fall into a ditch or something." Orin responded thinking back to her initial fall. Pretty clumsy for someone readying to travel. "We'll go find Aeuri, I guess." He trailed off, gesturing for Betoto to lead the way.
