Desert Sand often wondered how he got himself into these things. He was the healer for pack's sake. Duels were more his twin's forte! Yet here he was. Facing down a wolf who was by far better suited to this than himself.
He saw the darker wolf come at him and somehow neatly turned him aside with his shoulder. It surprised him how well it worked. "Hello. Sorry about this." Awkward? Totally. Desert Sand went in for a chomp while trying to convince himself not to be a wimp about it.

Chocolate Thunder was surprised by the apology, and felt compelled to return the apology. "No, no - I'm sorry." His apology came at a poor time and even if the wolf hadn't meant too.. he was distracted and unable to dodge completely.
"Whoa there." He furrowed his brow and stared at the other wolf. Sorry's would have to wait until afterwards. He lunged forward, with minimal hesitation, but in sort of an awkward way. A possible fumble on his part (outwardly it probably looked hilarious).

Desert Sand went through with the bite, much to his pride, right up until the other wolf also started to apologize. What a pickle they were in! Perhaps this dark wolf wasn't as much like his brother as he thought. He gave an awkward smile. "Thank you for joining our festivities." It was the least he could say right?
Then the other wolf got serious and came at him again. He needed to do this thing and make his twin proud! "I'm not going to hold back!" Desert Sand let out his fiercest snarl as he leaped at the darker wolf with jaws snapping.
