School/Occupation: A writer by trade. Asher has produced the Shadowcore series of young adult fantasy novels under a pseudonym, though he finds the genre personally distasteful. It's a rich source of income, nothing more, and allows him to live more than comfortably away from any fame.

Hobbies:

Reading: While he may personally hold no interest in the genre for which he writes, Asher quite enjoys period fiction. It allows him to separate a bit from his profession and enjoy the journey through imagination that books can provide, with no obligation on putting it to paper. It's a way to decompress.

Bōjutsu, specifically in the art of Okinawan Kobudō: Asher knows that exercise and a fit body fuel a sharp mind. He holds reverence for martial arts and the way they unite the whole of a person as a form of singular purpose. Likewise, he views the staff as a tool of infinite potential. He has even had a small dojo constructed on his estate for his sole use, with a personal trainer visiting twice a week for instruction.

Virtues:

Creative: Asher has an incredibly active mind, so much so that his writing work is an outlet to bleed off some of the incessant thoughts rushing through his head. He rarely takes things at face value, and quite often takes most things seriously while considering from multiple angles. While the straightforward approach can be a viable option, he believes it's rarely the most efficient one.

Merciful: Though his attitude may beggar disbelief in this virtue, Asher is actually merciful in a disdainful way. He will not lord himself over another person, whether in simple life situations or in combat as an agent of the Negaverse. If say a maid was having issues keeping with his demands to the point of despair, he would give them enough money to hold over into finding a new job rather than expecting them to keep struggling. He simply doesn't have the time or energy to waste on listening to their woes, and would rather dismiss them with suitable recompense.

In a fight, when it is clearly evident that his opponent in no way can offer meaningful resistance, he will lower his weapon and end the battle. This only applies to powered foes, as he obviously performs his duty to drain civilians albeit with a cold indifference.


Flaws:

Prideful: Asher has a lot of faith in his self-worth and abilities, such that he considers many banal things below his attention or not worth his time. If someone requests his assistance on a trivial matter, they'll often be ignored. At best, they might get a dismissive comment and hand wave. This often projects the man as cold and uncaring.

Judgemental: Parallel to his pride, Asher holds others to his own high standards. A person should always be at his definition of their best, and those who under-perform are less-than. He is rarely vocal about this, opting instead for stony silence, but when pressured he is unafraid to voice his discontent. Those who do manage to meet his expectations are spared the frosty demeanor, treated instead to a calm and quiet companion.


PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION

Eyes: Emerald green almond eyes.

Hair: Dark brown. A mixture of wild and refined, Asher has long slightly spiked bangs and hair that drapes down to his shoulder blades. He keeps it in a tail with a simple black silken tie.

Face: Oval face with no overly distinguishing features

Skin Tone: FFDBAC

Body Type: Tall and muscular, though not overly so. Very fit from regular exercise.

Clothes: Dark grey suit with the jacket opened over a black button-up vest and white long-sleeved shirt. The vest pocket holds his low-grade reading glasses for work, as he is slightly far-sighted.
