Lepus had come to check out the fairy wonderland upon hearing the rumors of a mischievous figure that seemed to be the root cause of pranks being pulled on people in the park, or at least was associated with it. Somewhat disappointingly, she hadn't been able to find any shining ethereal stranger that matched the description, which was a shame, because Lepus loved to investigate rumors of cryptids and supernatural figures in general. Just as she was about to call it a bust and cut her losses for the day, though, the distant sound of shrieking caught her ears, surely cries of help from the latest victims of the costumed prankster. Not only that, but as she headed further in the direction of the screams, she sensed chibi senshi auras... though they seemed to be going in opposite directions.

Although Lepus was hardly a chibi in anything but rank these days, the opportunity to show off come to the rescue had presented itself, and who was Lepus to turn down the call for help?

Lepus didn't hear any more shrieking, so she instead continued to follow after the closest aura she felt, stopping to pick up a green-colored star charm along the way, that someone must have dropped. Was it one of the other chibi senshi? If so, that could be her other Good Deed of the Day, returning the charm to its rightful owner. As she approached the fountain in the park, it seemed that the aura was headed her way instead now, instead of running away, which made things easier for her- er, that was, it surely meant that the other chibi had sensed her as well, and was seeking for out for help.

"Have no fear! Help has arrived!" she called out, in case the other chibi was close enough to hear her. Well, she did her part, at the very least! In the meantime, while she waited for the other senshi to arrive, Lepus decided to take a closer look at the fountain. Like the rest of the 'fairy wonderland', it had been decorated to match the theme, strung with lights and star decorations (since, well, 'Star Festival', of course!), and was filled with coins, some Lepus couldn't recognize as being currency from anywhere she knew (which wasn't much).

It seemed innocent enough, aside from the weird coins, and the pink-haired teen could only guess that people had been making wishes in the fountain, or maybe someone had simply just been really, really, unlucky, and dropped their wallet, scattering all their coins. Either way, nothing seemed out of the ordinary... to an extent, but if Lepus looked juuuust a little closer, just a little higher (or lower)... there it was- something that didn't look normal. "Aha!" she declared, finding a golden bell that had been tucked into a lower part of the fountain, hidden behind a part of the fountain's design. Reaching into the small hiding place, she reached for the mysterious bell's chain, and, like the idiot she was, decided to pull on it, ringing it.

“Oho?”

From all the screaming she had heard, Lepus had been expecting the chibi senshi she had sensed to be in a lot more danger than, well… this. In fact, it didn’t seem like this other chibi was in any sort of distress at all, other than some weird mumbling about a specter that played pranks or something. Normally, this would be interesting news, but this time, the lack of any sort of threat only left Lepus feeling disappointed that there wasn’t some big baddie to beat up while impressing the youngsters.

(Also, speaking of such, hadn’t there been two?)

Fortunately, there wasn’t much of a opportunity for Lepus to sulk about it, though- the other chibi seemed to have heard of her from somewhere, and suddenly, the teen was highly interested in this potentially juicy piece of gossip. “So my reputation precedes me!” Lepus remarked, impressed at her potential sudden rise in popularity, but also hoping these were good things being said about her. “And who might this someone be?”

"Amazing! A specialist in sneaking around, you say?" Lepus had only just met this kid, and already she liked them. She'd never really thought about it before, never tried it, either, but what if... she offered to mentor? Whoever had been talking to Aomori about Lepus was, apparently, someone already familiar with her, so that made things easier when it came to getting a recommendation, and this chibi senshi looked to be around the same age Lepus had been when she was first awakened...

There could be only good things to come out of such an arrangement, surely! Lepus would absolutely serve as a good mentor, and not as a bad influence, not at all.

"I am Super Chibi Lepus, the senshi of rabbits!" Lepus told Aomori, with a bit of a dramatic flourish, "I, too, am a master of sneaking around!"

A master of causing trouble, really, but who was keeping track, anyway?

To have the younger senshi beat her to the punch of bringing up mentorship caught the teen by surprise, but also made her proud. Yes, this child was absolutely going places, or would be under her tutelage. As to what kind of places was up for debate, and if one were to ask someone that wasn't Lepus, the answer would probably not be a positive one, but.

"Why, absolutely! I would be honored, my tiny apprentice!" Lepus proudly declared, thrilled to have a fellow chibi that she could take under her wing and teach the ropes to. "So what're you the senshi of anyway?"

"Ah, zashiki-warashi, huh? Excellent sphere, the zashiki-warashi, masters of sneaking around," Lepus replied, though in actuality, she had no clue what a 'zashiki-warashi' even was. It was tempting to google it right there and then, but she had a reputation to uphold, and this other chibi clearly looked up to her, so it was better to pretend she knew what Aomori was talking about.

Then the younger girl was asking about when they could start training, and Lepus mulled over this for a moment. "I mean, why not now?" Lepus suggested, though maybe that was a little sudden? "Well, let's get to talking first, and get to know each other a little bit- perhaps we can even work out a schedule..."

The bell was long since forgotten about, after Lepus rang it initially. If she had made a wish, she hadn't spoken it, though maybe 'I want to mentor another chibi senshi' had been that wish, somehow. Maybe. If she had been in the possession of more than a couple brain cells, she'd have given thought to the mysterious laughter and sound of bells that had occurred after she rang the bell the first time. Instead, Lepus continued to chat with Aomori, walking with the other girl and leading her out of the area, forgetting also about the part where she had sensed multiple chibi auras who had gone in opposite directions.
