Strange things appear in Destiny City all the time, so nothing seems out of the ordinary about what might look like discarded trash, broken glass, or pieces of broken jewelry. If anyone were to lean in for a closer inspection, they might find a beautiful, gemstone like object that is shaped a bit like a star. They come in an array of colors and almost seem to have some sort of light sparkling in them.

Matt walked along the sidewalks of the city, not really taking in the views surrounding him. Instead he was lost in thoughts that seemed to bounce from topic to topic. One said topic was on his little brother, his brother's husband, and his nephews. It had been weeks and months since he had seen them since the four were currently living in South Korea while Seung and Hyeon, Seung's cousin, took care of the mandatory military work. Granted Terry had visited a few times, bringing the twins with him of course, but they were only for small visits of which the main purpose was to give Terry time to power up and use some of the energy built up. After all his little brother couldn't safely take on his Knight form outside of the city and he needed to visit his Wonder from time to time thanks to transcending.

Another topic that crept up on him however was the fact that he himself hadn't been particularly active in the war while Terry was away. Sure Matt had gone on patrols of the city, visited his wonder, and kept an eye out for things but when said events happen he hadn't really taken part in them. Heard about them and got some reports about said events sure but he hadn't gone. And frankly he was tired of keeping himself to the sidelines. Sure it would be easier if Terry and the others were back so he could patrol with friendlies he knew and trusted but he needed to stop letting the lack of backup deter him. It was time he put that stubbornness his family complained about to the test and buckle down as a Knight. Time to take a stand and maybe, just maybe, make some powered friends on his own so he wouldn't have to be so lonely on that side of things.

Just as he was beginning to really rev himself up thanks to those thoughts he was brought back to the present when his foot collided with something on the side walk that he had, understandable, not noticed. The brunette shook his head and focused at the ground, finding that he had kicked a can that someone had left laying on the side walk at some point. Giving a small huff, annoyed at the littering, Matt bent down to pick it up so he could throw it away in a nearby trash can. As he did so however something fell out onto the pavement, something that sparkled in the sunlight that shone upon it.

The sparkling object looked like it was meant to be part of some piece of jewelry at some point but had fallen off and possibly broke while doing so as it was a small pendant that was vaguely star shaped. Matt picked it up so he could look at it closer, finding the blue that the pendant was reminded him a bit of the blue on his page uniform much to his silent amusement. After a few minutes he shrugged and pocketed it to examine more later then continuing on his way down the sidewalk, tossing the can while doing so.
