Ariel and Raphael have been invited to the Charity benefit organized for the city. As Raphael still had things to do in the ranch, they decided Ariel will go alone. Well she guessed it was more because there would be able and even if attendance is free, he didn't want to go, because like he always said he had nothing to wear. Well she didn't really had anything too but her prom dress will just do fine. She didn't gain in weight for the past years so it still fit luckily.
She dressed in her deep blue dress, with a little see through veil and white gloves on her arms. She put her hair up like she used too and there she was ready to go to the event.
On her way there as she picked up one of the star charm, it start to be raining quite a lot, luckyly she arrived at the place before she was soaked wet.
There were so many people in there, many she didn't know. As she had been out of town for the last years there were many faces she didn't know. But all the business in town were run almost by the same persons so she was able to see some familiar faces which made her a little more at ease. Well it was time to make some new friends, or at least to know some new people. Would be good for the ranch business too if they could get more customers.
She started walking around, wandering throught the tables. So many objects were displayed for the auction. They don't really had a big budget as the wedding was coming around but still they decide to put a little on the side for the auctions as it was to help the city.
She started discussing arround with some people, first she went to greet the ones she knows, then she took a glass and some snack from the table, trying to find a group to discuss with. It was not so easy, there were really a lot of people and many already formed some groups.
So she decided to look for an object and maybe start talking to the person who seemed interest in that object too.
She found a cute wood tray at first and then decide to bid on it. Twenty she offered, but then someone else said thirty, then again someone else forty, and so goes on. She was surprised, was that tray so worth it ? She asked someone on her side and it appeared that it was, an artisant who makes everything by hands and always only one of the kind. So his pieces were unique which made their price quite worthy too.
Ariel was stunned, she didn't think about that. Well she gave up on this tray for sure for the moment and started looking for something else.
Time passed as she tried bidding on plates, shoes, figures, she even bid on a large plush as she thought Raphael would like it. But her bid was never enough and she just moved on.
