Furry Tail lay in his corner of Adahy's den, their den. It had only been a few days since the bonding ceremony but some how Adahy and Furry Tail had feel even closer then they every had been before. Furry Tail had decided that at least for now he would continue to live with Adahy. Adhay shook his head happily at the memory. He had tried to tell Furry that no doe jack hop would want to live with a couple of males and a foal but Furry did not seem to care.
Nyyrikki had been born just days after they had returned. Honestly he had not even know Mie was with foal. She had give birth to two beautiful foals, one sweet princess of a filly and one strong handsome colt. Nyyrikki stayed with him most nights and days which made since to Adahy. A young colt should have a father figure around more so he grows strong and knows how to treat a doe. Or at least that was how Adahy felt about.
Nyyrikki stirred and stretcher he was a quite colt like his mother and an early to riser like his father. Two things Adahy appeached. "We are going to the Ruins today." Rikki simply looked at his father and nodded his head; no words needed. Furry Tail glared up form his place and yawned "Ugh cant we for once just sleep in." "Nope there are choice to be done and it is already getting hot. Also if you want carrots this winter you will get to moving." That perk Furry's ears right up and got his tail moving. Adahy chuckled at his companin and they all went out and set to work.
----------------------------------------------
By midday all the choice had been completed and the hot was high up. They had all took a short but much need swim in the near by river to cool down before heading off to the ruins. Today Adahy wanted to find any thing that might make watering his garden more effective. At present he was having to water five times a day. That much sun was just not healthy he was sure.
Reaching the ruins, Furry Tail road on Rikki's back. Adahy knew the familiar was worried for the colt and wanted to keep a close eye on him but Furry had simply said he needed a change of scenery. As they walk in to a Other building the dust danced in the sunlight at first but once inside Adahy could see a thing. All the widow were blacked out with dust and vines. What light sunlight there was only spot lighted the areas it hit. With a sigh Adahy relisted his energy and his horn glowed bright and eliminated the area.
Looking this way and that Adahy could see that they had entered a place filled with books and rows and rows of then. Though the place had clearly been ransacked many times a books lay all over, Adahy had been here a few time before now. This place was where he had seen a wooden fence and been able to complete his quest because of that fence.
Today they need to find a book maybe that would help them with watering. Un able to read a thing Adahy started flipping pages of books with his hoof. Some pages tore out and some would not even come apart. This was going take forever even with Rikki and Furry's help. Moving along Adahy looked through the rows and kept searching even if it took some time he did not just want to give up. At worst he found nothing and had to hire a atoms or aqua noul to help water. With that thought Adahy search for any books that looked like they had something to do with water. Sadly he only found book with other strange creatures that lived in the water, which well interesting, was not helpful at all.
Form one of the spot lights Adahy could see that sun was going down. He glowing horn was also starting to dim. It was time to go and they had had no luck at all in finding something that would help them. With sigh Adahy said "Ok well there is always tomorrow. Time to had home." Furry tail nodded and jumped back onto Rikki's back and Adahy lead the way back out the way they had come in. They day was a totally bust but they had spent it together so that was nice, Adahy thought as they made their way back home.
