It wouldn’t be a star festival without a meteor shower! Right on time, a beautiful array of shooting stars graces the night sky. Most meteor fragments appear to be little white or yellow lights streaming across the sky, but if you watch closely enough you may find that some of them seem to be pink, blue, and even purple in color. The scientists have reported that it’s just different components burning up as they enter the atmosphere, but there’s something undeniably magical about it.

Aogashima loved the star festival.

Admittedly, it wasn't entirely about stars like the name would imply, as much as it was just an event to promote goodwill and positivity in general, as her sister would always remind her of. Deep in her heart, however, she liked to associate it with stars, because, well, because. This was a time of year when the stars were more visible than ever, though, and also the time of year when a meteor shower occurred. Of course, the page couldn't possibly bear to miss out on a once-a-year sort of event, and like clockwork, she had picked out a good spot to watch it from, on top of a big hill in a rural area on the outskirts of the city.

Some of the shooting stars occasionally were different colors from the usual yellow or white. Aogashima was sure that Morie would have some sort of scientific explanation for it, as usual, to explain away the phenomenon and spoil all the fun; to the Cosmos page, though, it was simply a magical event that fascinated her to no end to watch. It'd been awhile since she'd really sat down and doodled costumes, but Aogashima felt inspiration coming on, to design some outfits later on inspired by the colorful meteor shower... though quite unfortunately, she hadn't thought to bring a sketchbook with her.

In the meantime, though, she wished this night would last forever... or at least that these were more common. She'd take the latter if it meant she could see sights like this every night.
