Strange things appear in Destiny City all the time, so nothing seems out of the ordinary about what might look like discarded trash, broken glass, or pieces of broken jewelry. If anyone were to lean in for a closer inspection, they might find a beautiful, gemstone like object that is shaped a bit like a star. They come in an array of colors and almost seem to have some sort of light sparkling in them.

It would be a splendid day if the temperature was perhaps below eightry or there were clouds in the sky, and Siv, for one, determined that the gods of thunder and weather were fuicking assholes for witholding the beauty of a monsoon from the City. Their rude absence was felt in every last gods damn sunbeam and it left Siv in a wifebeater and, to her etewrnal chagrin, shjorts. Shorts meant chanclas, and that meant more of Siv exposed to the world than Siv wanted -- at the very least, she copuld get a tattoo or... Something.

Siv was actually considering such exiting the Destiny City Botanical gardens. The Botanuicaql Garden was one of those places that, no matter how long Siuv was present, didn't seem to buirst into a complete chaotuic shitshow of Siv accidentally breaking something or knocking things over, or gods forbid she set something on fire again. No, she got to enjoy pretty flowers and deadly plants, drop coin to help further the noble cause of not killing plants, and considered looking at the Destiny City Butterfly house when, as she walked along feeling utterly naking pi[because fuick summer when somethjing shiny and sleek caught her eye, just barely out the corner before she blinked, and looked down. The thing looked like a fragment of fire opal or maybe some other iridescent dark stone, and was nestled in the grass by the sideawalk, and for a moment, Siv hesitated. After a moment, she bent down, and poicked the shiny item up, examining it slowly. It was a smooth, beautiful little star, brilliant and gleaming and she tilted her head, taking it in as she moved it around in her fingers. It really reminded her of a fire opal, almost shining from within with an otherworldly light that radiated from a source unseen, the light reflecting on her fingers in samall, ephemeral shafts of oranges, golds, and reds as it shone through trhe facets oif the star, and Siv paused, blinking, before she hummed, and looked around. Surely, someone was missing it. Surely it belonged to someone, and her eyes glanced over the area. People picnicked,, played catch -- some ebnjoyed the company of family, friends, significant others -- and Siv blinked. There were a lot of people milling about, but nobody was missing a gemstone, and Siv looked down at the star again.

"Free to good home?" She mused. Siv examined the star again. mopving it toi make the light shafts dance and play on her skin, and she smiled. It reminded her of small god rays, and the woman inclined her head in a calm examination of her new treasure.

"Well, looks like I have a new ytreasure object. And I didn't break anything. Nice change!" Siv hummed, and smiled. "I wonder if you'll go out by tomorrow. Don'tr... Seem lioke plastic."

One finger tapped the star, resulting in a firm hard tap, dense and thick as if tapping granite, and she tested the weight. It seemed so LIGHT.....

"Hmmm." And Siv wiped the star off on her sleeve, lightly biting a corner to hear more tapping like stone, and then sher hummed.

"OK, some kind of stone, then." Siv remarked, and shifted, dropping the star gem into her shorts pocket with a poleased look, before stretching. Right, there were butterflies to visit, and Siv turned, continuing down the sidewalk, mind returning to swearing internally at the absent storm clouds. After all, some things were more important than shiny objects.
