Prompt
The past five years have continued to meld and mesh the lands of Tendaji. Where once tribes kept to their own lands, many were now seeing their colorful neighbors on a regular basis. While the cultures still stand, a welcoming sense of curiosity and openness has resulted in a peace across the entire region.
What have you done these past five years? Have you explored? Have you welcomed others? What has your story been and how have you grown in this new future of Tendaji?
This solo-only prompt is for you to explore the growth of your character these past 5 years in relation to the cultures of Tendaji. You must walk us through how your character's impression of the other races has changed or evolved, and how they've grown as a result.

Aria flopped back onto her bed and sighed deeply. She was supposed to be taking a nap but she just wasn’t tired! It wasn’t unusual for her Dad to let her skip naps if they were doing stuff together but he left early this morning and Aria didn’t have a chance to ask if she could go with him. So she had been left at home and when Momma said it was naptime, that meant naptime! That didn’t mean it was any easier to actually fall asleep especially when Arianum wasn’t even tired! UGH. Being a kid was so hard sometimes. She couldn’t wait until she was older and big enough to be able to go out and do things on her own, that would be so cool when she could. Now, it wasn’t that she HADN’T been able to do some neat things so far, because she had. Her parents were pretty cool about some things, especially when she got to go out with her dad or learn things about the Violet from her Momma or even ask about their homelands since neither of them were actually from Matori. It was because of this that Aria had a fairly open viewpoint on other peoples and races. She was a hybrid and had met plenty of hybrids coming through on their way to or from Oba. Aria especially remembered that time they had a Kahikinan come through the Violet! That had been such an adventure for her and her sister, it had been a shame they couldn’t have asked more questions or learned more about where they were from! But, it wasn’t nice to bother the patrons too much, at least that was what she was told...and had been told...multiple times. She remembered that time with a smile, it had been so neat to meet someone with such a different background and well really, just a completely different way of life! Oh strange it must be to go from living underwater to being discovered and then traveling to these new lands with people who couldn’t hold their breath for that long but also stayed on land for most of their lives! It must have been quite the culture shock for them. Aria wasn’t quite sure what she’d do if she had to go to Kahikina...she could swim sure but having to live underwater? She wasn’t sure how that’d work. Were they going to make housing and things for any earthlings who went over and visited? It was all a little too iffy for her. It was a loong journey for something to be so iffy so she’d let the braver people like her Daddy go. But her Daddy wasn’t allowed to go obviously, he had to stay here and take care of her, her sister, and her mommy!
That was just the newest of the new places anyway….what about those other big islands, Belrea and Yael. Yael was where her mommy was from. Aria took any opportunity to ask about it, especially since she knew her Mommy helped some Yaeli get accustomed to the mainland when they left Yael. She thought it was such a nice thing for her Mommy to do. It totally sucked sometimes though since there was a whole wing away from everything where she and Tali couldn’t even go and play! Yet from what her Mommy told her about Yael she wanted to go and visit it someday! Well at least some day when she was older. It sounded so interesting to her! She wanted to go and visit Juahar someday too and see where her daddy grew up and where Grandma’s home was where she’d lived all her life. How crazy it must be to live in the same place for your whole life! She wasn’t sure if she could see herself living in the Violet until she was old...but you could never say never! Aria giggled at the thought before covering her mouth quickly since she was supposed to be ‘sleeping’. But Belrea….the land of so much cool sounding stuff. Things that fly, things that shoot things that aren’t arrows. It was somewhere on Arianum’s list of places to visit for sure. How cool it must be to get up on one of those flying airships and just fly over all the water instead of taking a boat! It must be a lot faster and safer if people willingly chose to do it that way. Someday she’d get over there and figure out how all the things worked. It was with thoughts of flying airships and strange contraptions that lulled Arianum to sleep.
