The world has opened to new possibilities. Where once they thought they were alone, now they discovered creatures never before imagined.
How does your character react to the introduction of Kahikina to Tendaji? This prompt can be anything, a way to cope, a way to learn more, even the first time they meet the other race. The main focus is discover and evaluation of this new world

Elna sat in the little patio of a cafe in Coeld, a warm drink in her hand and a frown on her face. It was still chilly for this time of the year, but the news that she was hearing and reading had her colder still.
Strangers from a different shore. Not just a different race, but different species altogether. They breathed water? She didn't know what to believe, but it didn't sit well with her. She took a sip of her drink, letting the warmth travel down her throat before she lifted her head up to look into the crowd that passed the front of the cafe.
She felt like she could hear their chattering about the news and most of them sounded so peppy. Like could they not see the dangers of the unknown here? She had heard too many stories of war and attacks from strangers from her parents to be comfortable with the hubbub.

Nasuri had gotten to Coeld not too long ago, she’d spent a few days getting to know the city, a bit of shopping, and formed a comfortable daily routine. Today she’d headed to a cafe, she wanted to do a bit of studying and maybe just listen to the chatter and gossip. There was a lot of it recently, new species, walking fish... It all sounded very intriguing. Nasuri wouldn’t be traveling there any time soon, but she was curious of the tales that others brought back from such a place.
After getting her order, Nasuri looked around for a spot to seat herself. There weren’t any that were empty, but she did spot a lone figure with an empty chair. Perhaps they could share the table?
“Excuse me,” Nasuri said softly with a smile. “The cafe seems to be very busy today, would you mind if we shared a table?” She gave a quick look around.

Elna was so immersed in watching what it was that everyone else on the street was doing that she didn't even notice when a woman came up behind her table. "Oh!" she jumped with her drink in her hand, the cup splashing dangerously close to the rim. "Oh, yes, um that's fine. I don't mind at all." She gestured to the empty chair and flashed a small smile to the woman. She had blond hair and deep colored skin and Elna couldn't help but stare just a bit. She was gorgeous, but she was definitely out of place here in Coeld.
