School/Occupation: He works at The Queen's Tea Room in Downtown Destiny City and just graduated high school. He's working on saving for his own tea room though. Why bother with college beyond a few business classes anyhow?

Retro Technology
Eli loves old things. Computers, audio gear, TVs -- he got a job to begin collecting and has all of one complete expensive system -- a Commodore 64 with proprietary monitor, 5140 disk drive, a cassette drive, Koalapad, and software, and he's begun getting his Apple II together. Given he also owns a Vic-20, it's safe to say he's begun recently but loves the old games and technology. He watches Youtube videos about collecting, studies to restore machines, and generally loves on his games. Eli plans to visit local and distant conventions, and learn how to visit even the most wondrous retro sales places, all for a new machine or find. Eli also collects other things and thrifts constantly, owning a laserdisc player and laserdiscs, a record player, and even a Select-a-Vision player, and a VHS. to say he is a satisfied man is a lie, though. Eternally, Eli loves his collection and lovingly builds on his technology and wares. One day, maybe he'll start to focus on smaller items. Maybe. Not soon though. He might just yet add something new as a project.
Reading
Eli is a voracious reader and consumes books like he does old technology. Alternate history, actual science, even terrible sci fi, anything written is fair game to him and he will devour it. To this end he visits every bookstore he can and especially has a dirty, dirty love affair with the old book store, visiting often and crooning as he picks over books like a cat grooming kittens, picking his choices but planning for more. His home has a room dedicated to reading, and gods help you if his books get damaged. There will be much weeping and gnashing of teeth, and the man will be unhappy. Seriously. Eli is a bibliophile, and will read until his hands drop off.
Tea Houses and Teas[
Eli loves tea houses. Tea is a comfort, tea is soothing, and doing a proper tea is wonderful. Eli has used his experiences working in a tea house in the English style to learn types of tea and the different flavors and delicate variations of leaf, nd dreams of opening a place for people to enjoy an old book, or new, some old games, and tea and nibbles. Or a proper tea in a geeky atmosphere -- both work. If Eli isn't working, or doing a collection, he's at a tea house downing oolongs, rooibos, matchas, white teas, and every snack available to try combinations for his dream, or to just unwind. After all, he works, and plays hard, he deserves tea.
Virtues:
Friendly
Eli is a bubbly soul who tries to befriend everyone. He's the one saying hello to everyone, smiling and treating people as one might treat an old friend, even offering to invite a stranger into his home to rest and warm themself, or to a meal at the closest eatery. Eli greets even the most dangerous seeming sorts as companions and will smile his way into anything, affording an olive branch as often as possible.
Diplomatic
Eli approaches conflict with diplomacy and grace first. That's not to say he's pacifist but rather the sort to seek compromise -- he will bargain and wager, listen and offer what he can in trade for what he or his companions want or need, and he's always happy to settle his problems with words and negotiations over hostility. He firmly believes diplomacy is a sign of civility, and will respond accordingly.
Clever .
Eli is a smart cookie. He recognizes patterns, problems, and more -- helping him fix old machines or work out a good mystery. He's not a genius or anything special, but he is a smart cookie and uses it nonetheless, often applying it to work problems and resolutions, or to working out goals and ambitions. Eli is a smart sort and as it happens, his wisdom surpasses his intelligence, thanks to his voracious appetite for books and knowledge.
Flaws:
Persnickety
Eli doesn't like sudden noises or large crowds. He loves people and he's not antisocial, but certain situations make him get on edge and he kind of shuts down. He'll act happy and friendly but if he's afraid, he's an anxious man and nothing will change the fact he might suddenly be less friendly and more withdrawn, quiet, and afraid. He just doesn't like it when things aren't going a way he's comfortable with in non-work situations and when things are off, he's just off and anxious and often, hyperventilating quietly until all is well again.
Possessive
Eli. Is. A possessive. a**. Once he decides someone or something is 'his', that's it. He'll cling, fight, protect, and generally act like they belong to him to others until he's talked to by the person themself. While born of a genuine desire for the safety and well-being of the people and places Eli gets possessive of, he'll be nasty, hateful, and ruthless about it, and ain't nobody got time for that.
Control Freak
Eli is happiest in charge of things and knowing exactly what's going on. His diplomatic techniques keep him in control as often as he can manage, he loved leading school projects, and he'll plan your vacation itinerary if you ask. Control is soothing, control makes Eli a happy man easily able to lead a group. And it's a lot awful, because he'll fight to keep control, he tends to simply take over, and he'll lecture people to no end if they screw up. Eli has potential sure, but he's a bossy control freak brat who needs to chill out already.

Gagarin's Small Squall A small, sudden, localized storm with high winds and rain springs into existence instantly over a foe's head. The winds buffet them along with rain, leaving it difficult to attack while the wind and rain hit. The rain stings, but it's nothing serious yet. The squall lasts 25 seconds before suddenly vanishing as fast as it appeared. Usable three times a day. Instant Cast type Super Sailor Scout Attack: Gagarin's Squall A sudden squall envelopes a foe, slamming them with sudden high winds and rain like before. This time, it still lasts 25 seconds, but the rain stings and the winds may make advancing on Gagarin or someone else more difficult while being buffeted. After 25 seconds, the squall disappears as swiftly as it appeared. Usable three times a day Instant cast Eternal Sailor Attack: Gagarin's Super Squall A sudden storm surrounds a foe, bringing intensely high winds, rain, and pea sized hail with it. The storm might knock lighter or off balanced foes off their feet and it WILL hurt while they're buffeted by rain and hail, possibly leaving bruises. This squall lasts thirty seconds, and affects a six foot diameter around his target, before disappearing as swiftly as it came. Usable once a day Instant Cast * A note, Gagarin must use willpower to summon his magic, as squalls are sudden, intense storms that strike quickly and disappear quickly. As such, his magic wiggle dance is probably more of a stare than anything.
