This whole senshi thing hadn't really been his thing, he didn't feel apart of the group. It all seemed like some tightly knit, already formed, group that he was an outsider to. He would admit he hadn't really tried though, but in his defense it was impossible in the start due to language. Now though he didn't know where or how to find anyone...or if he even should. What could they need him for? He was just one single person.
He hadn't gone out, powered up, in a long time...months perhaps? He wasn't even sure to be honest. he'd had other things going on in his life - a lot of things. Just thinking about those things had the dark mirror senshi smiling to himself. He was getting his life back in order...making it into something he wanted it to be.
He still had this part though and he should address it...somehow. It was something he'd been ignoring but he didn't think it proper really. He just didn't need it damaging his civilian life, and he hoped it wouldn't. As he walked the back alley ways of the city, he was not big on jumping about the cities roof tops, he kept his hands on his pockets. What was he supposed to do anyway?

Remarque had spent so much time powered up that he felt like he knew this part of the city like the back of his hand. What he didn't know was whose energy signature was popping up on his radar. It was faint on his radar but he was near a mirror and slipped through it, only to pop out at the end of a dark alleyway much closer.
Remarque was shameless when it came to the Dark Mirror Senshi; he moved towards the energy signature until he saw a flash of black and green.
"Itokawa," he greeted when the name popped into his head. It was natural and sudden but he had been confident that he remembered this Senshi. It had been a while since he had last seen him but it was a relief to know he was alive, at least. "It's good to see you again!"
It had been too long; the last time they'd bumped into each other they'd been dealing with a psychotic plant. "Have you been staying out of trouble?"

Freezing as he heard his name, or well his sometimes name, called. Moving back to where he'd just been he turned to face the one who'd called to him. He did remember him - the outfit stood out. He didn't remember the name though....despite them obviously remembering him.
"I have been staying as normal." Rather than powered like he was now. He'd had a lot going on in his life and no real reason to power up - and yet here he was. "All has been good?" His English was better, it was still accented but it was better. He'd come a long way since arriving in Destiny city and even since his last run in with this dark mirror senshi.
"You found me how?"

Remarque raised his brow; it wasn't like he was expecting a glowing reception but he seemed a bit curious. "Your energy signature. Felt it on my radar, came to investigate, recognized you. I wasn't tracking you, if that's what you mean. It's just luck that we're in the same place at the same time."
He gave him another look, though now kept a bit of a distance in case he wasn't really welcome.
"Thought I might check up on you and see that you were taking care of yourself, that's all. I worry about the Court."

"I did not feel you..." At least not till the other was really close. He sort of understood things but not too much, language had been a huge issue from the moment he awakened till now. It wasn't such an issue now but there were gaps in things due to that, plus it was why he kept away from this part of his life. He'd had enough going on and communication made things hard so he just avoided it all. It was easier.
"It is good to see you...but I am not part of the court. Uniform says so but nothing else. Do not know anyone in the court." Not well anyway. Outside of the few times he'd seen people, and tried to communicate, there was no connection with them. He didn't mind the idea of change, he liked social groups, he would welcome a change where he could be apart of things. But could that happen?

The Dark Mirror Eternal watched him for a moment and then nodded, albeit it was a bit of curiosity. "Well, you know me. But in case you forgot," he extended a hand. "I'm Remarque. Dark Mirror Senshi of Puppetry."
It was friendly enough, albeit determined. "So, now you can't say you don't know anyone. I mean, it's one thing if you don't want to be part of the Court..."
Though, Remarque couldn't imagine a situation where that might be the case. Still, hearing it meant that he immediately considered purification as something this senshi might pursue.
"...But if you don't feel like you're part of it just because you don't know anyone, stick with me. I can introduce you to plenty of them. Or, we can go into Mirrorspace and talk. Have you spent much time there, or in the Mirrorscape--with all the floating islands?"

"I have not spent time in either place." Or very little in the first and none in the second. He honestly didn't know what the second even was, though he didn't say it, perhaps the look on his face would give that away instead. He did shake the others hand though, when it was offered.
"You would want me to stick around you? To meet others and...join the group?" Last time it had been so hard. He'd been at someones house and there had been food and people...and he'd felt lost. Even with a translator it wasn't perfect and didn't help as much as he wished.

"Why not?" Remarque offered. "Could be good for you and the Court. I'll introduce you, show you around the place, if you like. You wouldn't have to be alone. And I could teach you a few things along the way. No pressure," he said, but it was clear that the offer was there and it didn't seem like it was going to expire any time soon.
"If you want to take it slow, we can do that. I won't force you to jump all in. But...being a Dark Mirror Senshi is..." He considered the right word. "...Meaningful. It would be a shame to waste it. So if I can help you figure things out, I want to."

"I do not know those places or anyone to go with." Language had been such an issue in the start. At least now he knew English and even if it was accented he could still speak the language well enough people understood him.
"Taking a moment to think about it he finally nodded his head. "I would like that - to know the place and others. When I'm not like this...you can call me New." Even though he knew here it would make more sense to give his birth name he didn't It was still more comfortable for him to give his informal name as it was what everyone back home used. It was what people, who were Thai, used in the asian part of the city.
"Why is it meaningful?"

Remarque nodded patiently, understandingly. "Well, you know I'm Remarque like this, and when I'm not like this you can call me Jett."
There wasn't much of a nickname to make out of it and he had decided that he didn't need a pseudonym a long time ago. This was just who he was, and he could handle a little honesty to build bridges for members of the Court.
"It's meaningful because you get to make a difference. You can do things no one else can. You can build a world--a safe place. Somewhere just beyond the mirror that's your own. Your own little haven, tended to, formed, by you. A long time ago I think I realized that there's a lot of dangers in this world. Things we can't always predict, and maybe things we can't defend against. So we need a backup. We need a plan. And, well. We have it, now. All the tools we need to build the world we want. So. It seems like a shame to waste all of that when you have that much power, that much freedom, at your fingertips."
