Overview: Long ago, in the days of old, the Land of Fire hosted a man who was said to declare himself the strongest under the sun. This man's power was unparalleled, toppling each and every foe, human or not with great ease. This man, born into a wealthy Uchiha Clan family would use his fortune to construct a great home to match his power. The largest tower, nestled at the peak of a summit would be tiered fifty stories in height. Each of these towers would serve as a proving ground for warriors and shinobi alike, fighting their way to the top of the tower to face the man in hopes to take his title of the strongest. Several centuries passed as the man remained undefeated upon the fiftieth floor. Having fathered only one son who had abandoned home long ago, the man would age into dust. After his passing, the warriors would allow the Senshichojo to become his grave while generations have remained behind to guard it, claiming his spirit still lingered and awaited a worthy rival to claim his title.

Time and space opened up around the group, their bodies able to pass through the Kamui dimmensional rift Masato had opened his Mangekyo Sharingan. He looked at the group that had decided to follow him and would form a unique hand sign that crossed both his index and middle finger from both hand with the index and middle finger of the opposite hand and formed a cross shape. At this command, three plumes of smoke exploded as there stood a grand total of four Masato before the genin. " Listen up!" all four shouted in unison as they assessed their pupils. Their voiced had a strangely harmonious synergy. The one in the center, presumably the original. " Decide now if you want to do this sincerely. I expect nothing less than your strongest and if you can't give that to me...you'll die here." Two of them would snicker and laugh before crossing their arms smugly. " Now. Once you've made your decision to stay...I'll need you all to be fighting one of my shadow clones. Show me what you're made of!" he growled as each of the Masato Clones stood readily waiting for an opponent. The tear in reality would remain open a few moments longer to allow travel back if they chose to opt out of their training.
Arriving on the other side of the portal Shikarie would start to look around at where the hell it was he brought them too. Did he just bring them to a mansion? No, more like a palace. Her eyes shifted back over to the man as she head a big POOF. Standing beside him were two of him, clones. He demanded their attention of the group and started to spew off what his expectations were. They were all to give it their best or they were going to die. It was at this comment that she would hide her eyes behind her bangs and look over at the others to see their reaction before looking back at the man. Her eyes would start to water. She tried to hold it back as much as she could. But the longer she waited it seemed the more this urge stirred until she couldn't hold it back any longer. She had no choice, she's gotta let it out. Raising a single hand the sleeve that once covered her hand would slide down to the crease of her bent elbow. Just as she raised her arm to her mouth she let out a yawn just as he got done explaining they would be fighting one of his clones.
'Greaaat' She thought to herself. The Uchiha was surely going to think she didn't care or even want to be here. She wouldn't even be surprised if the other students thought that either. This mostly true, but she did want to become stronger. Why would she follow otherwise? If she wasn't being completely honest she didn't actually believe he would let them die here, to begin with. If he brought them here to prepare them for the chunnin exams, why would kill them off before it even started? It didn't make any sense. She believed that he probably just said that to scare them into thinking they would die, make it more realistic. That being said, it doesn't mean he was going to make it easy on them either. In fact, Shikarie expected the exact opposite. Sure he most likely wasn't going to use his full strength against a bunch of trainees, but it was still going to be difficult. Shikarie kept these thoughts to herself and kept her usually carefree demeanor as usual. She wasn't going to be the one to make the first move. If this was a one on one battle, well she already lost. Most of her clans justsu was meant to be used in order to delay an enemy or to capture them with them help of a team. Most likely, this was going to be her role if it was going to be a group effort. Which was fine by her, she not really the run straight into a battle type. In fact, Mina was probably more that type. The annoying hyuga girl, she seemed to be itching for a fight/training, but she seemed to have more of a level head than Mina. This girl would most likely think things through more thoroughly. As for the others that joined in. Well she really wasn't too sure. All there is to do is wait for now.
tabMina tripped over the border of the Time-Space rift on her way out of the portal. Traveling through time, and space, like that was entirely new to the fifteen year old girl. And truth be told it made the Genin kind of nauseous and dizzy. As she entered the regular dimension Mina felt the world beneath her feet felt more unstable than she remembered it being. Mina herself spun to the ground and fell to her knees, planting her face into the stone floor with reckless abandon. “Ugh, my stomach’s yelling at me…” She groaned from her spot on the floor, Mina’s eyes were replaced with swirling and spinning lines. As if on cue, the girl’s stomach started to churn and her face went green. “Urrrp…” Mina moaned and missed most of what Masato said, being currently indisposed. As the others made their decisions to stay or go, Mina gently shook her head and slowly rose to her feet. The Genin dusted herself off while the long haired man suddenly quadrupled right before her eyes. Mina blinked and rubbed her eyes and tried to focus on the man -men- as she thought that maybe she was still feeling sick. Between all of that, and her general inability to process audible information, Mina only managed to get a small fraction. She mostly missed the part about dying here.
Now that she was finally caught up, Mina felt excitement rise up in her this time. “Yessir!” She exclaimed, pumping her arms. Mina mimicked the handsign Masato just made: the cross of index and middle fingers between both hands. “I’m gonna show all of you what I’m made of! Shadow Clone Jutsu!” With the exclamation the girl focused her chakra through her body which resulted in a cloud of smoke. When it dissipated, four equally excited Mina’s now stood across from the four Masato’s. “Let’s go, let’s go, let’s go!” Maybe she was jumping the gun a little, but Mina couldn’t help her over eagerness. And, at least with her logic of it, maybe having the four clones to measure would help the group out in their matches.

I'm so relieved...We should do a picture! First day meeting!" She let out a breath of relief that sounded like she may had been holding it in a wee bit too long. Huh. She was a bit hungry. Maybe the three of them can go get food later! It was then her dark almond hues glanced around at the area. "O-Oh... Um.." She was increasingly getting nervous as she slowly made her way to behind Chosuke and Shikarie. Her eyes scanned the tower first. "I-Is that a hole?" She whispered, almost whimpering. Was this a haunted place?! Her heart was beating so fast. The big man spoke so loud that Inohachi jumped out of her skin slightly as she glanced at him and heard what he said. Her jaw dropped in disbelief. "Shikarie-chan.. w-w-w-w-w-we have to fi-fi-fight him? Chosuke-kun?" Her voice was slightly shaking."Or die?" Ino squeaked. 'Maybe I'm not cut out to be a shinobi after all...' Inohachi thought to herself. This was terrifying! Her fingers started to shake along with her legs as the aderaline was rushing through her body, her pupils so dilated that there was no hint of the warm almond browns she showed earlier.

tab Stepping out of the portal behind Inohachi, Chosuke stumbled a bit before finding his footing. He didn't often pay much attention to ninjutsu techniques, but even he couldn't deny how cool being able to travel by portal was. He could only imagine how convenient it must have been. One minute you could be at the dojo training and in the blink of an eye, you could be at your favorite noodle shop...........just to name one example. There were plenty of non-snack related uses for it as well..........probably.
tab Suddenly pulled from his deep and complex thoughts, Chosuke himself being dragged by Inohachi once more. This time though, rather than being thrust into a mysterious portal, he was instead thrust into meet and greet with a girl, apparently named Shikarie. "Oooooooh. So this is the girl you were talking about earlier." He was still a bit confused as to why Inohachi was so worked up about introducing him to this girl, but at least now he had a name and a face to go with his confusion. "Hi there!" he greeted Shikarie enthusiastically, offering her a brief wave.
tab His attention was quickly stolen away from Shikarie as he noticed Inohachi nervously move behind them. 'What's got her so spooked?' he wondered. Following her eye-line, he found himself looking across the yard at a rather intense looking older man. While he may not have been the world's greatest detective, he was willing to wager this guy was what had gotten Inohachi so worked up. "Wait. We get to fight that guy?" he exclaimed, gesturing in the man's direction. However, whereas Inohachi's tone had been one of fear and nerves, his was one of eagerness and excitement. Chosuke had been putting a lot of effort into his training and a strong looking guy like this was just the person to put his new skills to the test. "Ah man! This is gonna be sweet!" he shouted, unable to hide his giddiness.
tab Seeing that another girl had already stepped forward with a group of clones, Chosuke looked back at Inohachi and Shikarie with a wide grin. "Come on! We gotta get up there before all the guys are taken!" And with this, Chosuke trotted off to take his place in the upcoming fights, assuming that the girls would be right behind him.
Each of the Masato clones stood side by side, exchanging glances as their student base chose to stay...foolishly or not. Each of the Masato grinned as the portal behind the last one to enter, Chosuke could close. Silence fell the group as they waited for yet another opportunity to decline his challenge. All of them would step forward.
The silence would become deafening to the group as Masato's terrifying battlefield presence would suddenly wash over the group as they stood at the ready. Blackness would stretch out and engulf the children. The encroaching darkness would cause panic and terror to the group of children who would find amorphous blobs of fleshy mounds of flesh reaching from the darkness, illuminated by a source-less dim lighting. The creatures seemed to be screaming and crying in pain as their small child like fingers wrapped around the footwear of the children. The forms seemed to entangle every limb of the children as they would witness their demise. A deep red light would slowly flood the area as the form of a massive chakra beast appeared before the group. Within the newly lighted chasm, the blobs appeared to be of a variety of ages, charred, burned and half devoured. They were the victims of the Nine Tailed Fox who now stood before the children. A low grumble caused tremors to the children's senses as he now towered above them as his presence was all too real now, lunging in as he opened his razor fanged maw for his next meal.
As the group of children standing before Kurama would deal with his insatiable appetite two of the Masato moved rapidly enclosed the created Shadow Clones of Mina who had not but just been formed. The two of them would use their combined physical attacks to eliminate the clones as they stood in their exact positions as their original creation. Coming from the outsides of each clone while they were in combat with Kurama they would deliver a strong punch in order to dispel the clone, totaling in three punches divided among his two clones. Meanwhile, the third Masato clone would take notice of the other larger presence in the group, Chosuke. A swift knife hand would find it's place planted into the boy's sternum, causing a shock wave of force to surge through his muscle and fat before exiting his back as the clothing of his shirt would be shredded apart and blown to the wind. The flesh upon his back would seem to fester and bubble in an extremely painful manner as it began to explode and release fleshy pulps of human debris about. After this strike would either find it's mark or be defended the clone would move away swiftly, distancing twenty five feet away.
While the children combat the darkness that surrounded them, the clones would shift about, manipulating the location of the original and the clones.

Also has chakra sense added ) _☆ Basic Combat Attack [ Rank C ] x3 ____★ Masato clones punched the other clones each one time. _☆ Violet | Rank B | Simple ____★ The Kyotouryuu user simultaneously slams both of their knife hands into the torso of their opponent, unleashing a powerful and focused shock wave directly through the enemy's body. The resulting damage causes bloody blistering of the flesh inches around the struck that explode from the back of the user as well. The opponent is thrown twenty feet away from the user after being struck. This technique reduces the target's agility to zero for two posts.
PersonalAttributes: _☆ Amaterasu's Cloak | All fire based techniques produced by the Uchiha are considered bloodline techniques.The flames are turned black and fire based techniques are reduced by 5 chakra per rank with a minimum of 5 chakra to be paid for a technique. For each rank of a technique, it's flames burn actively for one post or one additional post if a limit is given. _☆ Melee Prodigy | The user obtains a [1] point increase to agility while their sharingan is active for each body rank they have obtained. In addition, the user's first physical offensive activation every three posts gains a [1] point increase to speed per rank of their body, also requiring the eyes to be active. _☆ Illusory Prowess | This attribute allows any and all genjutsu to be cast through eye contact with the Uchiha. In addition, the genjutsu cast in this manner have the sight sense added to them at C Rank body. At S Rank body, the user's genjutsu are given the chakra sense. Also, mental stress or insanity can be added to any genjutsu cast through eye contact for an additional fifty percent chakra cost. _☆ Hardened Hands | Masato's forearms, hands and fingers have been trained to become more durable, allowing him to bypass the requirement for gauntlets for the Kote Style by paying an additional 5 stamina per rank of the technique. _☆ Blazing Fist | Masato's complex taijutsu are able to harness his fire element, adding burning damage equal to the rank of his techniques for 10 additional chakra per rank of the technique. Any religious missions completed with another individual count towards collaboration training with that individual equal to the posts done to complete the mission. _☆ Genetic Palette [ Exchanged from Good Host x 2 ] | With intensive genetic therapy and strong blood, this character is able to possess more than one transplant. This allows the character up to two transplants total, of any of the three categories. _☆ Physical Prowess | The Hyuuga gains a [2] point increase in any stat after mastering stage 3 of the gentle fist and another [2] points after mastering stage 6 for a total of [4] rather than [2]. In addition, the Hyuuga gains [3] custom slots to be used exclusively for the gentle fist style and [1] taijutsu style slot. _☆ Tetsuhiko's Natural Gift[ Event PA from SN ] | Masato gains the Doton element. _☆ Affluent Instructor CQC | When in the presence of those who are not of the teaching profession, the teacher may spend one of their activations to instruct a target. ClassDisciplines: • Battlefield Presence Discipline _☆ :The user's powerful presence on the battlefield strikes terror into their foes. Opponents are able to sense the user's terrifying fighting spirit five feet from the user per body rank of the user through chakra sense. Those within range can have this radiating fearful aura become the trigger for genjutsu, allowing genjutsu to be cast by acknowledging the user. In addition, should an opponent be targeted by a melee technique that is greater in rank than the target's body rank that target has tier two paralysis applied to their legs, requiring it to be broken by Kai equal to the user's body rank, costing the target no activation for that specific instance of kai.
• Brawler Discipline _☆Your taijutsu is just one side of your skill, as you are also versed in utilizing ninjutsu as well. Your Speed and Reflexes are moderately enhanced and you gain an additional 4 ninjutsu slots per rank. Once every other post all three of your activations in a post can be used for offensive taijutsu. Additionally, the user gains a keystone technique and two additional custom slots for taijutsu. Refer to the Keystone Guideline for more information. • Blood Knight Discipline _☆ Your bloodline techniques possess greater power, allowing them to overwhelm techniques of the same rank and preventing them from succumbing to elemental weaknesses. You can cast bloodline techniques through one-handed seals. {The Overwhelming Trait does not apply to anything above S} In addition, Blood Knights are able to Korabo bloodline techniques at varying cool downs depending on the technique ranks for a single activation. Limiting themselves to three of their class's styles, granting overwhelming in all three styles up to S Rank. Any additional slots that would be awarded for their class's styles are converted into a 2 point increase in any stats of their choosing. In addition, these masters of their arts are able to have a 1 point increase in their stats cap of 8 making it 9. Styles granted from rewards may be learned but do not carry the overwhelming property and the user is capped out at 5 styles.

The user is able to spend stamina in order to increase the strength of their punches for no activation. Now, the armor emits a crackling, bright, white hot chakra that appears like a thin aura around the user. The chakra causes mild burns on contact. In addition, the user gains a [1] point increase to strength and speed per rank of the armor. _☆ Bolstering Kaiser Armor Training | Rank A | Training ___○ This training adds to the previous effects of the Kaiser armor's technique. In addition to that, the target's armor now allows them to regenerate 10 stamina per rank of chakra applied to each technique while the armor is active. The user may not generate more stamina than their reserves may hold. _☆ Cicada Shell | Rank B | Training ___○ After learning the Shadow Clone Technique from the maruton list, the user may cast the Shadow Clone technique in conjunction with techniques from this style to replace mirror images with the clones. Casting Shadow Clones in this manner does not consume an activation. _☆ Multi-Mirror Image Training | Rank A | Training ___○ The user has learned to control their chakra in a fine manner which allows them to create an additional mirror image per rank of the technique it is executed with. These additional images do not increase the strength of the parent technique. _☆ Live Fire Exercise | Rank B | Training ___○ The user has impacted enough on people, a bag, or any other surface worth training their fists. When in the shooter stance, the strength and speed of their strikes is increased by [2] points instead of [1] point per rank. This training requires five posts. _☆ Gunslinger | Rank S | Training ___○ The user has always sacrificed range for power, all up until now. By making their physical offensive techniques of this style complex, the user can send dense chakra orbs from their fists to extend their impacting range as well as allowing them to now "punch" ninjutsu. The strikes are now counted as spiritual when interacting with other techniques and carry the user's full stat increases of simple techniques. These chakra orbs range ten feet per rank of the parent technique. _☆ Knife Flow | Rank E | Training ___○ The user becomes more accustomed to all combat revolving around small weapons combat. The user's speed and agility when wielding a small weapon is increased by [1] point. _☆ Dirty Reflection | Rank C | Training ___○ With proper training and time put in, the user has learned how to angle their blade so that each attack reflects light at the opponent. After each technique, light shines in the opponent's eyes and reduces their agility for that turn equal to the rank of the technique used by the practitioner. Additionally, once every three posts the user can cause tier one blindness on the target. _☆ Two-fer-One | Rank C | Training ___○ The practitioner is now accustomed to performing techniques they have mastered with either one or two knives. Once per post, the user may use a single D-Rank or lower technique involving small weapons as a supplementary action. _☆ Blade’s Edge | Rank B | Training ___○ The user has learned to utilize projectile weapons with this style, allowing their small projectile weapons to be interchangeable with small weapons for this style. All projectie weaponry get the benefits of Knife Flow. _☆ Flame Breathing Pattern [ Kaen Kokyū Hōhō ] | Rank D | Training ___○ The user is accustomed to the unique and various breaths that it takes to preform physical attacks as well as to channel chakra. This allows the user to passively detect when an offensive action is about to occur, giving them a [1] point increase in agility per body rank of the user. Additionally, once every three posts, the user is able to defend against an offensive activation without utilizing an activation. _☆ Flame Attunement [ Chōsei Sa Reta Honō ] | Rank C | Training ___○ By practicing the style's many forms, the user has learned to reduce the chakra needed for equal results by finite control. This reduces the required chakra by 5 per rank for complex techniques that channel elemental powers. In addition, this does not reduce the potency of the user's techniques in collisions. _☆ Flames of Deception [ Kyogi no Hi ] | Rank C | Training ___○ Once per post when using a technique from this style after the user completes this training, a C Ranked elemental clone of the user may be created in their place as they move out of sight in some manner through role play. This costs no activation but requires a C Rank amount of chakra each time done. These clones have access to C Rank and below Basic Combat Skills. In addition, each of these clones, upon being stricken with a value equal or greater to C Rank explode, sending their specific element flying outward fifteen feet. Each clone requires an E Ranked Upkeep per post. _☆ Task of the Next Generation [ Jisedai no Shigoto ] | Rank S | Training ___○ Upon the master of the school of Kakumei no Hono Ryu, it's the user's responsibility to develop the next generation! The user is granted one [1] custom slot usable only for a personal technique of this style's theme. _☆ Ogre's Grip [ Oni no Haaku ] | Rank S | Training ___○ Through their rigorous endeavors with their mighty weapon, the practitioner has developed immaculate upper body strength. Because of this impressive development, the user needs only a single hand to wield large sized weapons. _☆ Manipulating Line | Rank B | Training ___○ After casting Retrieval, the user is able to tack on the additional chakra to the same activation of Retrieval. Instead of calling these weapons back to the user, they are able to be manipulated by the chakra threads they are attached to in a similar manner to puppet strings.The chakra threads attached to the weapons remain active for three posts and techniques can be executed from the Manipulating Line technique as though thrown by the user if desired. _☆ Shuriken Hunter | Rank S | Training ___○ The user's scavenging skills ensure that they are always able to find new shuriken lying about and retrieve their used weapons. This ensures they never carry less than 200 small projectile weapons.

__ Eager anticipation welled up as Kotori darted past and over any obstacles along the mountain path to reach the training yards. 'Show sensei everything Kotori can do! Leave no room for regrets!' The small girl closed the distance at the fullest speed she could muster under the strain of the Gate of Life while reciting these lines like some sort of battle chant. The holes and tears in her jacket clothes from years mostly in the wilds of the world would make it plain that she tried pretty hard to keep herself dressed while without anything but her strength and wits in the great big world. Her Byakugan was mostly fixated on Masato- the one that stood apart from the ones that were engaging her not-yet-introduced peers and her crimson skin painted an imposing visage in its own right. Kotori wasn't trying to be subtle. If she wasn't seen before she attacked then that wasn't her fault. As soon as she was at the edge of the yard she'd vanish with the performance of a Full Step to facilitate a violent, unbridled Reverse Lotus.
However, when she appeared before her sensei in perfect form to begin the ruthless string of blows, three shadow clones had joined her- created in the moment of her maneuver, and attempted similar or supportive attacks in the endeavor. The Kotori that appeared to his front on the right thrust an open-palmed strike at Masato's head, but the chakra released was far less destructive than any of her known Gentle Fist arts; if unavoided he'd be subjected to the Heavenly Momentum style's Blind technique, likely limiting the efficacy of his dojutsu in the process. The Kotori at his front left and rear right each started the Reverse Lotus, but only the one in front used her foot to do so. Kotori's Four Limb Training let her use all of her taijutsu interchangeably with her hands and feet, so the Kotori to his rear right timed her strike to uppercut Masato's ribs into the other's rising kick. Both of these two fully utilized the fire chakra being channeled into their strikes thanks to their Training of Enlightenment. The last Kotori, to his rear left, also thrust her palm upward, dragging a powerful torrent of air that would help significantly in taking his balance for her self-korabo; also, the miniature hurricane force would significantly hinder his agility to hopefully limit his options against her opening gambit. Again, the other genin would surely see little more than fiery blurs that suddenly erupted into a literally blazing whirlwind centered around their teacher.

Good seemed no one noticed her yawning. Now she wouldn't have to hear any nagging or deal with being questioned. Behind her walked the two she had just met prior to walking through the portal. The female had spoken and introduced a male to her that goes by the name of Chosuke. The girl had seemed to vary excited to have the three of them together. It wasn't hard to figure out why. The legendary Ino-Shika-Cho team. If she were to be honest Shikarie wasn't sure she wanted to be in that team. It just meant more work and set higher expectations for her, and if she didn't meet those expectations...She didn't even want to think about it. She was wanting to get a picture together, basically going off the rails."Erm.. Don't you think you are getting a little ahead of yourself?" She would ask the girl. The reality of where they were started to sink into Inohachi and she had begun to get nervous."Relax. It'll be fine." That's all she would say to the girl. Chosuke on the other had seemed all riled up and rearing to go. In fact he just started to rush in.
Shikaire quickly reached her arm out to try and stop him from acting reckless but he was quickly out of her reach."Wait a minute! Don't act stupid!" She would shout. Her words weren't just for Chosuke but for Mina as well. Mina had created a few clones of her own and charged forward as well. Shikarie had expected this kind of reaction from her, so it didn't shock her. But she had hoped that they would at least come up with some sort of plan before running off! It was at this moment that everything started to change.
The battlefield quickly grew black. Horrifying figures would crawl out from the shadows screaming in pain and reaching out for the group of kids. The sights sure were frightening. If Inohaci was scared before she certainly would be now. Hands would start to reach for her feet to hold her in place. Her head darted towards her feet as she started an attempt to pull her legs up."s**t" She quickly looked back up gritting her teeth as she looked towards the impatient one and the smelly man. Her eyes would narrow as she looked at the Mans clones attacking the Minas and Chosuke. "He really isn't going to make this easy. This was an understatment! This man came out of the gates blazing hot! Suddenly a giant fox appeared. The fox was targeting in on Inohachi and herself. Shikarie started to pull on her feet even more. 'Gotta move. Gotta move. She thought to herself. When it became clear she wasn't going to free her feet manually she had to come up with a plan B on the fly. It wasn't just herself she was worried about, it was Inohachi as well.
With little time to spar Shikarie would just perform and single hand sign. If she couldn't go anywhere then she didn't have many options, this technique may not even work. At best she could at least by Inohachi some time to getaway. She focused her chakra down her legs through the soles of her feet. From there she would force the chakra outwards into the shadow beneath her feet. By doing this a member of the Nara clan is able to turn their own shadows into extensions of themselves to be used as a weapon or as a delay tactic. Once her chakra was fed into her shadow Shikarie then started to stretch her shadow outwards towards the fox. If this was a normal opponent Shikarie would be able to completely control their movements upon successfully attaching her shadow to theirs. But with something this large, and this powerful. She wasn't even sure if it would work. As her shadow got closer and closer she found herself hoping that she could just attach herself to the fox to stop it's deadly claws from killing the two of them. The shadow finally reached the fox but something was off. There was no attachment. In fact, she didn't even feel any attempt to attach and, with a target this large that was no way that she would miss. But why? Then it clicked! Her shadow can't attached itself to something that isn't there. Darting her head towards Inohachi she would shout to her."It's not real!"

Inohachi heard Shikarie saying for her to relax and that everything would be fine. That was hard to believe. If looks can kill, Masato had got that part down that was for sure. As Chosuke ran off, Shikarie yelled after him alongside with Inohachi, "Cho!" She called out but it had fallen on deaf ears. She knows for sure that nothign was going to stop Cho when it comes to fights, she had seen it when training. The only thing that can actually get Chosuke's attention would be food. And she lacked food right now. 'Damn it, if only I didn't eat all my snacks in the camera bag...' Inohachi woefully thought. Inohachi took a step forward to go after Cho but froze in her steps when everything had turned black.
Eyes widen, her body started to tremble as she whimpered and covered her ears. The screams of pain were so intolerable! "I need to help them!" Inohachi cried out. Her eyes darted. "Who is in pain!? Call out! I'll come to you!" Her voice trembled. Damn it all. She was going to heal her allies even if it meant to die trying. Hands started to reach up for Shikarie and Inohachi as both of them had tried to pull her feet up. Tears were coming down her cheeks but despite all that, Inohachi was still trying to fight and figure out who was screaming in pain. Then the unimaginable happened.
A menace looking fox showed up. The eyes were onto the two girls as Inohachi was now completely frozen. 'It's not real!' the voice echoed in her mind as Inohachi snapped into reality. A genjutsu? "I-it feels real!" She wailed as she grabbed Shikarie's arm. "Kai!" Just like that, everything was slowly becoming lighter and the screams were fading. She pressed her finger onto Shikarie's forehead. "I-I have to get the others! I... I'm a Yamanaka! I have to connect all of us! We can help each other!" With that, she released her grip from Shikarie's arm as she went to get Chosuke first, he was the nearest one to her. The moment she finds an opening, she will set up a Telepathy link with Chosuke. 'Help me Shikarie, watch my back' She wanted to scream at everyone to get to her first but she did not want to draw attention from Masato. She stayed at a safe distance and terrified as Masato attempts to do the swift knife hand towards Chosuke sternum....

• Strong Minds, Strong Hearts! | The Yamanaka's mental presence is able to greatly domineer others into submission. After successfully mind switching with the target, this mental presence lingers and will afflict the Mental Stress status equal in power and duration, to the Yamanaka's body rank ( D = Tier 1, C = Tier 2, B - A = Tier 3, S - S+ = Tier 4 ). This effect lasts for one post baseline but is increased by one for every other rank starting C rank Body, leading to a four post duration at S+. • Inton Mastery | It can be said that every Yamanaka is gifted with the art of empathy as the mental plane is their domain, but there are a gifted few who are able to take this trait even further than that. Users with this PA are able to use Yamanaka Clan Telepathy passively apply to any sensory sensing jutsu currently in use by them. This cost neither an activation nor a cost and increases the max limit of the network to everyone within range of the sensory jutsu. Individuals within this boundaries that are subject to the Yamanaka being able to instill any one of the four basic emotions, fear, anger, sadness, or happiness within their minds without spending an activation to do so. At this stage this manipulation is trivial and largely only affects roleplay mechanics however, it may be upgraded with access to locked Yamanaka Emotive techniques. At any time an unwilling participant may expend an amount of chakra equal to the body rank of the Yamanaka to remove themselves from the effects of this field. If done in this way they become immune to emotional manipulation by the Yamanaka for three posts. Breaking free does not consume an activation from the target as this is not considered a kai. • Shared Information | All information, sensory or otherwise, gathered by anyone who is a part of the telepathic network is shared with the group, not just the Yamanaka. This does require the Sensing Transmission technique from below. Additionally, the user is granted a passive field around themselves that offers that minor sensory capabilities ( limited to sensing the origin point of incoming jutsu ) but can ultimately upgraded if of the Infinite Perception discipline. This field is limited to five feet per body rank.
Activations: Kai - Korab with Shikarie Telepathy with Shikarie
Collaboration [ Korabo ] | Rank X | Passive technique allows the user to combine two techniques together in order to create a single, stronger technique. Both activations of the lesser techniques must be paid along with their original cost from the person casting the technique. If the techniques combining originate from separate individuals, both individuals must have this technique and be able to use techniques equal to their partner's body rank. Two techniques of equal rank fused will become a technique of power one rank higher. So two B-ranked techniques fuse to make one A-ranked technique. Furthermore, two techniques separated by one rank in power will take the rank power of the higher rank, but will eliminate any potential weaknesses of the two techniques, and give the fusion the property of overwhelming. So if a B-ranked an a C-ranked technique were fused through the use of Korabo, then the technique would be B-ranked power with the property of overwhelming to techniques of the same rank. Finally, the rules for what techniques can be fused are as followed. The first rule is that the two techniques need to fulfill the same general purpose. For example, two projectile techniques can be fused together through the use of Korabo. However, an elemental shield and projectile technique cannot be fused together. Second of all, if two techniques of the same elemental property, or the same technique performed twice, are fused then the two techniques maintain their elemental strength and weaknesses. If two techniques with differing elements are fused, then the fusion loses all elemental strength and weaknesses. Finally, techniques can only be fused of different elements so long as they are complimentary elements, aka elements which have no elemental strength or weakness against each other. The only exception is if you fuse a technique with one of one rank higher, and the technique of one rank higher is of a weaker elemental property than the element which is stronger. An example is if you wanted to fuse a C-ranked water ninjutsu with a fire ninjutsu, then the fire ninjutsu would have to be B-ranked. In this example, the jutsu would treat the B-ranked fireball as C-ranked, and thus two fused would act as a B-ranked technique. Techniques fused either have to be of the same rank, or one rank difference. Finally, despite the leaning toward ninjutsu, this technique allows one to fuse complex and spiritual tai and bukijutsu as well. For complex techniques, treat it's fusion with ninjutsu as the example with two opposing elements fusing, (aka, if you want to fuse a B-ranked complex punch with a ninjutsu, then the ninjutsu would have to be C-ranked). Medical ninjutsu can also be korabo'd, but only with other medical techniques.
Release [ Kai ] | Rank X The user forms a hand sign, flooding their chakra network with a sudden burst of chakra that negates any foreign chakra affecting the user. This is commonly used to release genjutsu but has other purposes. Requires expending chakra in equal rank and potency to the technique being broken. Flooding the brain with chakra completely dispells the hallucinations from enchantment, instance, and chain category genjutsu immediately. The chakra in the brain also mentally focuses the user and reveals the images of illusory category genjutsu as obviously fake but does not completely dispell them because they are outside of the brain but the user is still released from the illusory technique's effects. Multiple genjutsu can be released at once using Kai as long as the appropriate amount of chakra is applied but genjutsu can also be selectively released.
Yamanaka Clan Telepathy l Rank E This technique allows the user to telepathically communicate with other people. The user can also transfer this ability to another person by touching their forehead. The user can communicate with multiple people at once and the targets can also communicate with one another while the technique is in effect. This communicaton can be done with up to three individuals, not including the user. The technique ends naturally whenever the user so decides, or when the target loses consciousness. Distance does not matter so long as they are within sensory range when the initial connection is made. Unless having Inton Mastery, this connection can be refused at any time by paying the same amount of chakra as spent casting this technique.
tabMina’s body went cold. She started to feel clammy as cold sweat started to form on her skin. Everything went dark around the ninja and voices started to echo from the shadows. Unsettling whispers that all layered on top of each other to try and speak all at once, but only coming out at jumbled times so Mina couldn’t even hear what one was saying. As she was frozen in place, the shadows would reach up from below, small hands slowly traveling up her feet and legs. The tendrils of hands slowly crept up Mina’s body and wrapped themselves around her arms before pulling them out and holding her in place tightly. She couldn’t move, she couldn’t fight! All she could do was watch what happened next. First there was a rumbling growl that shook the very blackness. It came and went, like thunder that was growing ever closer. It happened a couple more times, each time louder than the last. On the loudest one that shook Mina to her core a flame ignited and instantly grew to the size of a large chakra beast; a fox! The Nine Tailed Fox! The memories of her clones as they were destroyed flooded into her, but she didn’t even pay them any attention. The Genin was in over her head! How’d she even think she could possibly try to stand up against this guy. He was a real ninja, and she’d just been playing kid games this whole time. As the Nine Tailed Fox loomed over her, Mina thought about herself becoming another victim of the monster, just like the ones who grabbed at her. Chakra flooded through her body in a panic as she struggled against the grips. The girl needed to get out, to run!
“It’s not real!”
Shikarie’s words cut through Mina’s fear like a knife. Of course it was a Genjutsu! She had to break free, and fast! Chakra continued to surge through Mina’s body until it exploded out with a gust of wind. That, combined with a physical effort of strength, ripped Mina’s arms from the shadow hands so she could slam them together into a simple seal! “Kai!” She yelled just as the fox was lunging at her. The monster dispersed as did Mina’s uncertainty and fear. She jumped back to group up with Shikarie and the other girl, staying close to them as she watched the onslaught on Masato from the newcomer. As she did, Mina felt stronger somehow. Power pulsed through her alongside her heartbeat. “Thanks guys.” Mina said quietly as she reached out and gripped one arm of the Nara and another on Yamanaka. Truth be told, Mina probably wouldn’t have broken out of the illusion without them. But it wasn’t just her fighting, after all, and she was just now realizing that.
So it was time to do what Mina did best.
The red head disappeared from her spot in the trio with a blur of motion only to reappear in front of one of the Masato clones. The only indication of the path she took was the ground that followed her, shifting from stone to amounts of black sand. Mina was down low, supporting herself with a single hand with one leg shot up as a kick aimed at the man’s chin, the black sand swirling around the two of them. If it connected it would send the clone into the air and Mina would follow through with the rest of the technique. She’d appear behind him at the apex of the flight and her sand followed suite. It would wrap itself around Masato just before Mina gripped him with her arms. The two would start to spin, spiraling all the way back down until they would crash into the ground! At the last second Mina would jump off of the clone’s body and slide into a landing some feet. Away.
First Action: Null Rank | Simple Located in the brain, this removes the restraints of the brain on the muscles so 100% of the user's strength can be used whereas normally, a person can only use 20% of their muscles' strength to keep them from disintegrating. Unlocking this gate allows the user to use the Front Lotus. Speed and reaction time are now double what they normally are, increasing one's abilities to the next highest rank or title. Strength is now five times one's own normal; Raises physical strength to just over two ranks higher.
Once the user has trained to access the first gate, they may begin training in the first "move" within the Eight Celestial Gates formation. The effects of the first gate itself are not all that extreme in that they provide the user with a 1 point increase to their strength, speed, and agility. Once the effects of the first gate wear off the user experiences moderate pain from hyperactivation of the sympathetic nervous system. Requires 1 activation to use.
Second Action: ▰ Front Lotus | Rank B | Complex The user vanishes from sight while standing before their target up to thirty feet away. They then appear directly below the target, supporting their weight with their hands as they deliver a kick to the opponent's torso or chin. This singular strike carries the force to fracture bone while throwing them thirty feet into the air. If this first strike is unevaded, the remainder of the technique is guaranteed to hit. The user vanishes once again, appearing above the opponent and gripping them in a bear hug, rotating rapidly causing the pair to look like a twister as they descend. At the last moment, the user releases the target as they collide with the ground, allowing the user to land without harming themselves. The user must be within the first gate minimum to use this technique.

tab Things had taken a sudden dark and dramatic turn for the group of hopeful genin. With but a single glance, Chosuke could feel the man's power spirit surge out towards them, exerting a tremendous amount of pressure. Even his own normally sturdy legs struggled not to buckle under the tremendous weight of power. He could only imagine how to others must have struggled. To make matters worse, a shroud of pure darkness had come to cover the battlefield, seemingly removing any traces of their former surroundings or even the light for that matter. From the sea of ink they now stood upon, Chosuke could feel tiny hands rise from the ground, gripping and pulling at his feet and lower legs as they cried out in agony. Even more than this though, he could feel the beating of his own heart, the pounding seeming as though it was likely to burst from his chest at any moment.
tab As unsettling as these tiny creatures were, they were noting compared to the one that would come to form moments later. Just as suddenly as the darkness had come to overtake them, Chosuke watched as a colossal, fox-like creature would come to loom over the group. "What the-" His words were suddenly cut short. In his fixation on all that had come to unfold before him, he had forgotten to keep his eyes on his original opponent. This had left him wide open for an attack, something the man had used to his full advantage. A swift thrust to the chest would send Chosuke skidding back across the battle field. He could feel a burst of heat surge through his body, causing his shirt to be left in shredded tatters. Fortunately, the rest of his body was far more sturdy and he was able to absorb the force of the attack within his layers of muscles and fat. However, he was well aware that he would not be able to take another blow like that without taking some serious damage. 'Dammit, man. Get your head in the game.' he thought to himself with clenched teeth.
tab As terrifying as the situation was, Chosuke knew that he was the only one who could stand up against the creature that the man had summoned. If he wanted to throw a big fox at them, Chosuke would just have to get big to. It would take all he had to match the creature but it had to be done. Or at least, that's what he initially thought. Fortunately though, before he expended the resources for such a transformation, Shikarie's words found him. "It's not real!" Chosuke paused, his worried expression quickly changing into one of confusion. "Not real?.......Wait! You mean" he didn't need to finish his statement, being able to connect the dots fully all on his on his own. This whole time, this was all just a bunch of smoke and mirrors. 'Ah man. That's so weak.' he thought with a sigh. This was why he hated genjutsu so much. As terrifying as it had all been, it was pretty amazing that the man had been able to summon such creations. Or rather, it had been cool until it turned out to be all in his head. Forming the proper hand seal he had been taught in the academy, Chosuke used the Kai technique to release himself from the genjutsu, watching as dark scene faded away and returned the battlefield to its previous state.
tab Though slightly disappointed that he wouldn't be fighting the giant fox creature, Chosuke at least still had the man to take on as an opponent. While the scenery he created may have been fake, the powerful spirit Chosuke was certainly no illusion. He desperately wanted to throw his own hat in the ring and go a few rounds with him, but at the moment their was something more important for him to do, protecting Inohachi and Shikarie. As such, while the other two girls in their group took the offensive and rushed at the man, Chosuke took up a defensive position. Placing himself in the path between the man and his two allies on the back line. He knew that Inohachi wasn't one for close combat and Shikarie didn't seem like she wanted to get up close and personal with the man either. As such, he'd serve as their shield and buy them whatever time they needed to set up their own techniques.
tab Taking up a wide stance, Chosuke lowered himself and raised his hands in front of him in knife-hand form. The man may have gotten a heavy hit on him earlier, but not this time. With the haze of the genjutsu lifted, Chosuke was much more prepared to receive an attack, especially from his current stance. Still, just to give himself a bit of a boost, he opened the first gate, feeling a surge strength rush through his body. With this, his eyes narrowed on the man as he stared at him with burning determination, inviting, NAY, daring him to come face him. This time Chosuke would be ready.

Strength is now five times one's own normal; Raises physical strength to just over two ranks higher. • Gliding Step | Rank A | Simple The basic stance of the style which requires the user stand with their feet wide spread, similar to a horse stance with their center of gravity low, their hands raised in knife hand like forms. Techniques executed from this stance receive a [1] point increase to agility for the duration of the technique. In addition, should the user be in this stance when the target attempts a physical blow, the user may shift their position, pivoting around the target to resume the same stance. This action costs stamina in the amount of the technique dodged in this manner but requires no activation.
𝑰𝒕𝒆𝒎𝒔 𝑼𝒔𝒆𝒅 •
𝑷𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒕 𝑬𝒇𝒇𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒔 • Berserker: Your hardened body naturally is as protective as Heavy Tier armor without its drawbacks. Degradation of the user's natural defenses applies in the same manner as armor. Once depleted, any damage the user takes, no matter the rank of damage applied increases the user's active strength and speed mildly for two posts. Should the user take additional damage before the end of the second post, the increase stacks, refreshing it's active time.
Clones exploding out of existence as the two Masato clones dispatched the young Mina's own shadow clones. She would suffer the most of this, as the genjutsu her clones had all been subjected to would have their effects amplified upon their proginator as their memories returned. Simultaneously, Masato would detect a new, rather familiar presence with his Byaku-Sharingan. He witnessed as his first pupil who had long since left the village in search of her own way would return, barreling at full blast towards him. She seemed to instinctively be drawn towards his true form that had lingered back as the children dealt with his clones. With an anticipated action, Masato would turn to Kotori as she would deliver the series of attacks upon him. As Masato would fly skyward from the combined efforts of the Kotori gang, suddenly poofing in a cloud, revealing the target to have been a shadow clone who had been unfortunate enough to be the victim of his substitution. This would cause one of the clones of Masato that had been surrounding Mina's to vanish.
From above Kotori, Masato would now appear, glaring directly upon the entire clone group below as the blazing whirlwind began to spark. With a single open palm, Masato would release a terrifying burst of chakra that he had learned as part of the gift Sandayu had imparted upon him. The force of the Mountain Crusher technique barreled down, extinguishing the blaze before it formed and would cause the shadow clones below to explode under the tremendous force they all suffered. While this would eliminate the Kotori clones, Masato still had to deal with the real apprentice who would be straining to hold her ground with the massive blast directly down upon her, dealing the force of the technique twice. Masato would use this massive blast of energy to guide himself back to the ground roughly fifty feet from Kotori as he readied himself. " Scamp! You've gotten faster!" he shouted playful at Kotori as he would allow her to recover and prepare herself again as a green aura began to emanate from his person, this aura crackled with black lightning as Masato released his limitations of the first and second gates.
The Masato clones that remained at Mina's location would whistle then exclaim. " Aye, this one can do it too!" he said as his eyes would instantly recognize the front lotus's actions. This shadow clone of Masato too would release a dulled green aura as his first limitation was released as he cocked his fist back, squatting as deeply as possible which allowed the kick to swing directly above him. Then with a loaded right hook turned into an open palmed strike he would rise back up and strike straight down on the girl's abdomen to drive her into the earth with a booming force. Sensing the change in the girl's body from the gates, Masato had used his Jyuken to sever part of the girl's chakra network. He would distance himself from Mina once again, calling to her. " Is that all? I thought for sure you had more punch than that since you wanted to kill!" He prodded at her, knowing her fiery temper shown earlier would be ignited by his commentary and push her further. He would sink into a classic boxer's stance, readying himself with his fists raised up near his face at the ready and bouncing on his feet.
Meanwhile, the remaining Masato clone would lock eyes with Chosuke as his burning determination would seep through the battlefield to Masato. " Yer tougher than you look kiddo." He growled as he grinned, the dulled green aura enveloping him as he would challenge the Ino-Shika-Cho trio. " Lets see you all dodge this!" He roared as he leapt into the fray, closing the distance between him and Chosuke in an instant, slamming his head forcefully into Chosuke's. As he would reel back from the attack, Masato released a mighty backhanded strike to Chosuke's corroded artery just below the ear. The sheer force of the strike would break skin if unguarded and cause tremendous trauma.
As Chosuke would be stricken with his backhand, Masato would then turn his focus to Inohachi. With an open palm, Masato thrust it skyward just before Inohachi, stopping the strike only centimetres before directly striking her, releasing a wave of air pressure from his hand that would carry her ten feet into the air. He would linger here for a moment, fully aware that he would be able to push the combination and finish the fight. Finally to end the offense, he would turn his focus to Shikarie. With a fluid sliding motion he reached her, preforming a quick jab that would tap her quickly on the chin if unguarded. Ensuring he would not leave himself open to the group beating, he would use his orchid technique to put space between them.

The burst of chakra can propel the user up to five feet per rank of the technique in whatever direction they want, allowing for seemingly impossible aerial maneuvers. Those within range can have this radiating fearful aura become the trigger for genjutsu, allowing genjutsu to be cast by acknowledging the user. In addition, should an opponent be targeted by a melee technique that is greater in rank than the target's body rank that target has tier two paralysis applied to their legs, requiring it to be broken by Kai equal to the user's body rank, costing the target no activation for that specific instance of kai.
• Brawler Discipline _☆Your taijutsu is just one side of your skill, as you are also versed in utilizing ninjutsu as well. Your Speed and Reflexes are moderately enhanced and you gain an additional 4 ninjutsu slots per rank. Once every other post all three of your activations in a post can be used for offensive taijutsu. Additionally, the user gains a keystone technique and two additional custom slots for taijutsu. The user may not generate more stamina than their reserves may hold. _☆ Cicada Shell | Rank B | Training ___○ After learning the Shadow Clone Technique from the maruton list, the user may cast the Shadow Clone technique in conjunction with techniques from this style to replace mirror images with the clones. Casting Shadow Clones in this manner does not consume an activation. _☆ Multi-Mirror Image Training | Rank A | Training ___○ The user has learned to control their chakra in a fine manner which allows them to create an additional mirror image per rank of the technique it is executed with. When in the shooter stance, the strength and speed of their strikes is increased by [2] points instead of [1] point per rank. By making their physical offensive techniques of this style complex, the user can send dense chakra orbs from their fists to extend their impacting range as well as allowing them to now "punch" ninjutsu. This reduces the required chakra by 5 per rank for complex techniques that channel elemental powers. Because of this impressive development, the user needs only a single hand to wield large sized weapons. _☆ Manipulating Line | Rank B | Training ___○ After casting Retrieval, the user is able to tack on the additional chakra to the same activation of Retrieval. Instead of calling these weapons back to the user, they are able to be manipulated by the chakra threads they are attached to in a similar manner to puppet strings.The chakra threads attached to the weapons remain active for three posts and techniques can be executed from the Manipulating Line technique as though thrown by the user if desired. _☆ Shuriken Hunter | Rank S | Training ___○ The user's scavenging skills ensure that they are always able to find new shuriken lying about and retrieve their used weapons. This ensures they never carry less than 200 small projectile weapons.

__ Those who were able to look away from their own trials would see Masato's substitution suffer a very hostile game of pong before dispersing after a few blows from the pair performing the Reverse Lotus. 'Dang, we missed!' The two landed near the others and they all immediately linked arms for even distribution of momentum. "KOTORICAAAAAAANE!!" As soon as Masato revealed himself to counterattack the quartet collaborated the performance of the Heavenly Spin technique. A fiery typhoon of spinning chakra would disperse her sensei's Mountain crusher to the area around them instead. Their four Byakugans made such awareness and timing possible. When the clash of Hyuuga techniques were over the four finished their shared rotation to face Masato's praise. All four of them grinned proudly and nodded the spoke in an echo of each other, "Kotori is stronger too!" The two Kotori standing at the fore of the quartet thrust their palms out at Masato where he had positioned himself, unleashing a korabo'd pair of their own Mountain Crushers while crying out, "HOOOORYAAAAAAAHHHH!!" The explosive blast of bulldozing chakra launched from their synchronized strikes would create a rolling destruction that at least matched what her sensei just threw at her. The last of the three clones assumed the Gentle Palm stance in preparation to protect herself and the other clones from another counter strike from their teacher or his own clones that might become involved.
Meanwhile, Kotori chose to stop hiding behind her clones. "Madda madda..." They'd keep fighting for as long as they could, but they wouldn't go down without swinging back. "Madda madda madda!" She stomped her foot and tapped into the other Inner Gate on her spinal chord. "It's still not enough!" She knew that Masato was still holding back. That didn't bother her as much as the thought that she wasn't trying hard enough to make him try harder to fight her back. Unlike with the other clones still utilizing the Gate of Life, Kotori now felt the brunt of the Gate of Pain. It's inhibitors to maintain the structural integrity of her muscular system were lifted, allowing her to push her limits even further. Her breathing became somewhat strained as she felt the familiar pangs of anguish in her body just from standing upright. The timer was definitely ticking now, and she had to put her all into everything she did from here on. Admittedly, she was far too tunnel-visioned on Masato to acknowledge her peers directly, but she was only here for her sensei right now. Each of her hands lit up brilliantly with the Gentle Step Twin Lion Fists technique as she focused her mind to use her Sunflower conditioning as a Kyotoryuu. Kotori's excess speed was used to further bolster her reactive agility for any more counterattacks. Were it not for the Heavenly Spin's stationary ease of use, they probably wouldn't have reacted to the Mountain Crusher from before. She wouldn't let herself stay that vulnerable for long.
In a blur of speed, Kotori trailed behind the paired Mountain Crushers with her a follow up attack of her own. She aimed to strike Masato as soon as he blocked or evaded her clones' attack. Her high-speed movement of the Full Step maneuver would allow her to direct a Cherry Blossom barrage of fifteen strikes as fast as her one of her accelerated heartbeats. Each of these blows were not only augmented by her Katon chakra but also the Gentle Fist's chakra-sealing attribute. The attack would also effectively tenderize her sensei's physique if not guarded properly, but she already had a feeling she'd have to prepare for the next attack before believing this was enough enough to land a hit. Right now, that was her minimal goal. 'If Kotori can just actually hit Masato-sensei...!' Her mind was racing with this simple but lofty goal.
Her warning that the giant fox seemed to not go unheard. Those who were freaking out seemed to calm down. That was good, they wouldn't really stand a chance if half of the team was freaking out. Her shadow slowly returned back to its original state. Those that heard her preformed Kai in order to release themselves from the genjutsu. She left a hand against her arms as Inohachi and Mina preformed Kai with her. By preforming Kai together Shikaire and Inohachi were able to release themselves from the illusion. Suddenly, she felt two fingers against her forehead. Without a word Inohachi took off and ran towards Chosuke. Shikarie touched her forehead confused as to what just happened. Her confusion was soon cleared when She heard Inochachi, from inside her head? She shouldn't be surprised she was a Yamanaka after all. 'Riiight." She would respond mentally. Mina who stood beside her soon vanished and started to engage one of the clones. Meanwhile Chosuke took a defensive stance and readied himself for an attack.
Shikaries eyes scanned the area. She counted two Masato's. Wasn't there one missing? It was then that one shown himself standing before chosuke. Shikarie took a defensive stance of her own. Judging by how he has been fighting lately Masato is a close combat fighter who uses genjutsu to confuse his opponents before he strikes. Masato grinned as he stood before them. He was enjoying this, maybe a bit too well. As promised Shikarie would do her best to help aid her teammates. She would preform the handsign once again and use it to follow Masato's movements. 'He keeps moving around. If I can just get him with my shadow we can stop him.' she said telepathically to her teammates. As Masato started to attack Inohachi and Chosuke she would use her shadow to follow the movements of the man. She was hoping to use the movements between him and her teammates to her advantage. The timespan between exchanged blow can be vary confusing and complex. It was in this moment that a shinobi can forget about their surroundings, just breifly. This would allow her to get her shadow closer to him without drawing too much attention."Tsk. Stop moving so much." She would mumble to herself. Just as she spoke his attention was quickly brought to her as he rushed her and attempted to strike her in the chin. This was it. The closer he got the easier it would be for her to trap his shadow. She didn't move, knowing full well that he could get hit, but if her shadow would latch she would be able to stop his strike just in the nik of time.
