Private Hot Spring [ 8,000 Ryo from Takao ] Accompanied by pure relaxation and the opportunity for meditation, without the interference of unwanted individuals, the hot spring allows for the relaxed shinobi to expand their mind and acquire [two] additional custom slots. {This benefit does not stack with visits to other private hotsprings} Watchtower [ Captain's Control Room ] [ 12,500 Ryo from Satoshi ] The Watchtower confers full sensory knowledge of anything and everything occurring in the Residence. The owner of the residence when in his residence may know all detailed information about his or her guests in regards to their bloodlines, chakra, and stamina totals and anything statistically. However, abilities that would evade sensory detection naturally are still effective. It is manned by Guardsmen of the appropriate paid Rank. Should these guardsmen die or become disabled this benefit is lost.

▱▰▱Satoshi had been sitting at the captain's chair and flying the Prophet out of the Midnight Dreary Realm for quite some time. By his count, it was a couple of hours at least. It was refreshing to see some sunlight coming in through the windows after contending for so long with the eternal midnight of the crow lands. He stopped the ship in its tracks over the open ocean. They needed to cross some water before they could go to the Marsh Country. Satoshi was still getting used to piloting the ship so he had no doubt that his crew was relieved when it finally came to a safe halt. "Mates! We be docking here for the night! Get some rest!" Satoshi said over the intercom. They were somewhere over the Kaiju ocean with lavender clouds speckled by sunset above them and an ocean that reflected it below. Satoshi left the ship in low-fuel consumption suspension for now before he stepped out of the room. Once he walked outside to feel the salty air on his face he immediately saw Soyeon standing below his level on the upper deck. He hopped over the railing to join her on the main deck. For once it was just them which was almost startling. Nonetheless, he figured that the others were in their quarters possibly vomiting if they could not handle the turbulence of Satoshi's novice flight. When he joined her on the deck he faced the outward expansions of the ocean off the edge of the main deck. "I hope my flyin' wasn't too rough for yee." Satoshi said as he wrapped his arm around her waist and pulled her in for a side hug. He left his hand on her waist as he continued looking out toward the setting sun over the Kaiju.

Soyeon had needed a break for fresh air after the events of the Midnight Dreary Realm. The sound of the waves hitting the water was all that surrounded her. The words of Yatagarasu wouldn't leave her mind no matter how hard she tried. Was she only doing this because of fear? The prospect of remaining alone without the one person who stuck by her was a terrifying one. She had been out there for quite some time, though Satoshi barking out an order over the intercom was enough to break her focus. A smirk was placed on her face, her mind finding ease though doubt still plagued it, just pushed away. It was a short time after that a familiar silhouette would land on her deck from above. Soyeon turned to him as they met, his arm around her waist. Soyeon did the same, leaning into him. "We're alive, so I can't complain." she joked, offering the one eyed captain a knowing smile. "Besides, you didn't almost crash into the mountain this time. That's some improvement."

▱▰▱Satoshi chuckled with a clear twinge of self depreciation in response to her joke. "Heh, I suppose I was a wee bit too hasty to put Arashi behind us." He felt somewhat skittish when he felt Soyeon's arm wrap around him in return. This nervous excitement leaked into his voice even as he tried to conceal it. Satoshi always felt comfortable around Soyeon but this was the first time that he was being embraced by her while they were completely alone. Yatagarasu be in the right as usual. But no matter what I say she doesn't believe in the truth I know. Satoshi reflected in frustration as he stared at the setting Sun above them and smelled the seafoam below them. Nevertheless, he intuitively understood that she was still going along with his ideas nonetheless because she cared for him. Talking about the disagreement seemed entirely pointless to him now. He made his arguments to her over and over and none of them were truly sinking into her beliefs. Satoshi had been carrying the load of what Yatagarasu said to Soyeon just as far as she did but now he was just going to...release it. Satoshi turned his full body to her as he used both arms to fully embrace her. It was as if her earlier greeting hug was taken as permission to completely hold her. He looked into her brown eyes and internally refused to talk about what was tense between them right now. The ideas of fatalism, the morality of their criminality, whether or not they were doing what was right, none of it mattered to him within this moment. He let it all simply wash away like the tides beneath their feet. "I love you." His eye widened with sincerity as their faces were in close parallel and his arms surrounded her frame. This was all that Satoshi could muster in him to say as he banished all thoughts of their disagreements. He just wanted to be with her, right now, and not think about the troublesome contexts anymore. He did not want to say the words in the midst of some sort of argument where they finally reach an understanding. All he wanted was to get it off his chest. But now he agonizingly awaited her response. His need to just say what he was feeling seemed to turn to ashes once the words left his mouth. Doubt began to fill him. Was it too soon? Should they have spoken more? The need for reassurance from her was dominating him but now the die was cast.

Another chuckle came from Soyeon. She enjoyed the time spent together with Satoshi and crew, though her beliefs towards this "fate" thing were beginning to seep into her a bit. The idea of everything happening because you were expected to do such was getting somewhat push onto her after the most current sit downs with her raven haired friend here. Was this all happening because of that book he used to carry around? Were they actually going to serve out what destiny had wrote for them specifically? The girl's ahead was amok with a mixed bag of opinions and beliefs, but it was nice that Satoshi was here to quiet them down, even if just a little. "Maybe." she admitted, winking at her captain playfully. "But that's just the faster we get to seeing what fate's got in store for us." He turned to face her while Soyeon would look at him and tense up the moment he spoke to her again.
L-Love? The woman looked shocked by the declaration. Just as much as the boy who said it before. Soyeon thought back to everything they had done together since she first arrived in class. Becoming friends quickly, talking to one another as Yogen would receive affection from her, practice, them escaping from Arashi together alongside the crew. Soyeon's face was red as she turned to face Satoshi. Sure they were just two kids seeking whatever was in store for them, but as longas she had everyone with her, nothing could stop them. That much Soyeon was sure of. Her answer came as jumbled and awkward as Satoshi's, her arms finding their way up towards his chest.

▱▰▱Satoshi's head was awhirl after he was reassured of her mutual feelings. With red in his face as well he leaned down closer and pressed her body closer to his firmly but softly. He finally pressed his lips to her's as their noses awkwardly bumped together. The warmth of her lips and face was invigorating as he tightened his embrace of her so that she could not escape his kiss. He pulled back and smiled softly at her before leaning down again, this time tilting his head to the side. The second kiss was less soft but longer and more intimate. Their affection was skewing the passage of time around them as the Sun finally went down. Once he stopped to breathe he immediately scooped her up in his arms in a bridal carry before turning around and walking up the steps toward door under the mast. He opened the door to the captain's quarters and took her in before kicking the door behind him. Yogen sat perched on the mast and watched them while shaking his head. I need to get that knucklehead to move my cage outta there tomorrow. He thought to himself as he was not keen on living in there if Soyeon was going to be in there too.
Hours of passion had passed in the room with Soyeon now wrapped in his arms in the bed. "I welcome thee to live in here now if yee want. I'll move Yogen's cage to your room." Satoshi offered sweetly as he could not stand the thought of sleeping alone anymore. The captain's quarters were a bit more spacious and private but far from extravagant. There was a bed, a desk, a wardrobe, and some bookshelves. The bookshelves were filled with Satoshi's collections of lore. The tomes were all black with detailed information on the crows, the gods, fate, and various other fragments of knowledge. "Heh, I'm certain Yogen will prefer that if yee move in here. But maybe once we make a wee bit more money from treasure we can expand the quarters." Satoshi smiled with anticipation for their adventures. It was far from the morning so he could stay with Soyeon for much longer. "What would yee like in here? Close yer eyes and picture it. Maybe yer own vanity?" Satoshi wanted to think of ways to make the quarters more comfortable for her if she was going to live with him. "I be in need of many more shelves all over the room. What do yee think?" Satoshi spent most of his downtime on the boat reading so having more storage space for his books and scrolls would be good. He was fantasizing about ways that they could build their own cozy space together as he gently rubbed his hand up and down the small of her back.

And there it was. The two locked lips together as they shared a moment. Her soft lips pressed against his while their noses touched for the briefest of moments. His hands pushed her more into them, locked in for the tender embrace. She closed her eyes and lost herself in the embrace of Satoshi. Time seemed to go all but unnoticed around them, as Spoyeon blinked and noticed that the sun had set. She felt his hands swipe her from her seat, the female's face turned a brighter shade of red while Satoshi carried her bridal style to his chambers. "H-Hey!" Their journey met its end as he kicked in the door to his room. It was there on the bed that the soft fabrics whisked them away, with Soyeon embracing Satoshi Further as their lips touched for the third time that night.
Hours later, the two were still there, Soyeon resting her head against her captain's chest. Satoshi softly invited her to stay with him in his room, offering to move Yogen's cage to her room in return. She supposed that if she wanted to do all of this, it was probably time for such an event. Plus, with the possibilities of expansion, it would make quite the living space indeed one day. The girl closed her eyes and would think of what she would want most of all in the room. "A vanity, yeah. More bookshelves...Maybe a roost for our birds?" she suggested, her untied aurburn hair collecting down the side of her head. "I'd be interested in more of those books of yours." Soyeon grinned, feeling his hand motion up and down her back.
She cuddled to him closer, her mind still quiet for the time being. How would the crew react to the news, she wondered. Boten, Takao, even Masato if he would still be mulling around on board. She wouldn't put it past him to leave them to their follies, seeing as how most of Satoshi's relatives had a bad tendency to just disappear at a moment's whim. "Do you think they miss us?" she asked. "Nozomi, The Arashikage. We left just so suddenly..."

▱▰▱Satoshi smiled as he continued embracing Soyeon and rubbing her back. He imagined what the quarters would look like with the various upgrades. "Aye, a roost be good. With a birdbath, a habitat, all the bells and whistles." He definitely agreed with her and even nodded his head before reaching toward his bedside table. As he did so when she mentioned that she would be interested in his books he visibly beamed with excitement. His enthusiasm over the tomes dominated his usually pallid expression as he took one of the books in his grip. When he retracted his arm he looked in her eyes before responding to her interest. "I love you." He kissed her spontaneously before sitting up with her and laying the book out on top of their blanket. While he cracked the book open to his bookmark and read over the text he listened to her ask about Nozomi and Toso. "Can't say I've thought much about it." Satoshi immediately disregarded the topic by flipping back a couple of pages. "This book be about Jashin and his totems. One of which we found in the 'Dreary Realm called the Bloodstone. There be another one deep in the heart of the Swamp Country. It be a piece of treasure that looks like an ebony monkey with huge ruby eyes. If we find all five of Jashin's totems we'll be able to summon him. And then fate will lead us to victory." After he finished he handed the dark book to Soyeon for her to see for herself. Satoshi wrapped his arm around her again and gently brushed through her long auburn hair with his fingers.

Another kiss for the road, alongside Satoshi looking ever so pleased that she had passingly mentioned some of his many books. It wasn't an outright lie, as she had some curiosity in what kind of stories or information each had inside of it. Especially if they were going to see out this fate that the group had in store for them. Her mention of Arashi was mentioned once and then pushed aside, the boy going to ramble on about Jashin. She cuddled closer to him and listened, though she did hide some worry for their home even if she wasn't going to outright tell Satoshi that. The doubts were thrown away for the moment and then quickly focused her attention back on the Jashin book. "Amazing. So that's how it will go." she commented, her eyes focused on the next target of theirs: the ruby eyed monkey that would be located in the Swamp Country. It was pretty, in a sort of macabre way. Definitely not something that would become their next mantle piece by any means. The book was handed to her with Satoshi combing his fingers through her hair, causing the woman to lean into him while flipping through the pages of the book.
"Where are the other three located? If we split up, we could possibly have a chance of getting the full set faster." Soyeon's idea was likely a bit foolish, considering the hell that was collecting that Bloodstone, but the faster the five totems were collected, the faster everybody could go about seeing Jashin himself and launching "a formal complaint" about him. "Not that I'd leave your side for two minutes though. Especially when you do that to my hair."

▱▰▱Satoshi continued gently stroking her hair while he flipped through the pages with her. Each set of pages had thorough detailing of each totem and their general whereabouts. "Yee see, Evergreen, my...grandmother. She be the goddess of this universe. Jashin be wantin' to reassert his power in her dominion. He's not yet strong enough to do that directly so he plants these totems that be able ta render surroundin' natural energy impure. This book says that the monkey totem is either in the Swamp or Demon countries on that continent. The other three are supposed to be scattered in the southern islands. The reason we can't split up be because of how difficult each one is to find and obtain. I've read that some of 'em use genjutsu ta run a rig on those who seem 'em." Satoshi spoke freely without realizing that he had a very roundabout way of explaining the various phenomena that he was reading about. When she said that she did not want to leave his side he suddenly shut the book and tossed it back on the table. "Yer not goin' anywhere!" Satoshi put his arms under the covers and tightly wrapped his arms around her belly before mercilessly tickling her stomach with his fingers. He held her to his body so that she would not be able to wiggle free. He placed his chin over her shoulder as her back was pulled to his chest in an upright seated position. The tickling persisted for a few seconds before he stopped and chuckled deviously. However, his emotions were stirred up again as his mind revisited her earlier question about Arashi as an intrusive thought. With his arms stilled wrapped around her stomach he began amorously kissing her neck to replace his overwhelming but fleeting guilt. "Can we make love again?" Satoshi asked his lover before returning to softly kissing her neck. The young man's mind was caught in a potent whirlpool of hormones and he could not get over the fact that he was able to finally be with Soyeon and fully express his affections.

She didn't know exactly why having her hair stroked like this felt so good, though Soyeon wasn't one to really question it. Maybe it was just another part of getting attached to Satoshi which she ever so loved. With every flip of a page, the couple would be in for a treat for what awaited them in the future. Satoshi summarized the book's findings, explaining to the girl that the monkey totem they saught was in the lands close by just awaiting to be collected by those daring enough to see what awaited them. Her point about splitting up to cover more ground and the reason for not being a worthwhile endeavor was met with her healthy dose of skepticism. If they were fated to get the totems anyway, what would it matter how they got them in the first place? The train of thought was interrupted with Satoshi lunging at her and pulling her back into his embrace. She let out a surprised yelp but would fall into his arms and begin laughing at his tickling. Her feet kicked underneath the blanket as she tried to wiggle away from his grasp. "St-Stop! You know I'm tickling." she said in between fits of laughter as the two would soon find themselves back at it again, Soyeon leaning forward while Satoshi would barrage her neck with kisses, that question being asked again. "Again?" she asked. While not totally against the idea, quite the opposite in fact, but this would be the umphteenth time in just a few hours. Still, her heart was flooded with desires and her answer came in the form of snuggling close with a wide grin. "One more time. Then we break for something other than acting like it's the end of the world."

▱▰▱Some days after their mutual declaration of love, the crew was able to pull some money together to upgrade the ship. He walked with Soyeon to the new training rooms purchased so that they could continue to hone their abilities. The tatami room, study hall, and clan chambers were all constructed in the same part of the ship so there would be easy transitioning from place to place for training. Satoshi led her there with his fingers enlaced with her's. He was still well in the throws of the euphoria of their new romance. When they arrived, he retrieved the scrolls of every kind of technique and style that Soyeon expressed interest in learning. He placed them all on a table for her after offering her a seat and kissing her forehead. "I'll be in the other room if yee need me." After tapping on her nose with his pointer finger he scurried off to the next room. Yogen remained perched on his shoulder and steadied himself as he ran off to train on his own.
Satoshi went into the Tatami room and retrieved a scroll for the Sobagai Deba Sentou style. He read through the scroll's individual stages before mounting it at a point on the wall. He retrieved some daggers and practiced the various forms. He practiced the techniques from the first stage through to most of the fourth and grasped the concepts quite well. He then continued through the fourth, fifth, and sixth stages. He continued his studies as he mastered even more complex forms. Satoshi began using his blades to barrage some dummies viciously. He also continuously cloaked himself in invisible chakra.

Satoshi put away that style scroll and retrieved another of interest to him. Time for yet another sword style to join his arsenal. He read over the Tetsuishi no Ryu style before mounting it on the wall. He quickly drew his saber and practiced a few slashing swings. The techniques were clearly made with a katana in mind but he was able to make slight adjustments for his cutlass. He managed to master most of the stages rather quickly with all of his training in bukijutsu as his guide. Now it was time for him to practice the remaining, more complex stages. The most tricky to master with precision were the wind cutter techniques which took several attempts.

Satoshi now wanted to learn how to master the use of armor. Being able to use his medium armor pieces more efficiently seemed like an important objective. He stored his previous scroll and retrieved a new one for Soko Sento, an armor style. There were few techniques so he merely practiced the forms of all but one technique.

Satoshi would now begin the rigorous process of the Armored Shinobi training. Mastering this technique would surely allow him to move unhindered by his armor pieces. He would still retain the defensive bonuses of the armor pieces in the process. Satoshi began by breathing in and out while running laps around the Tatami Room.
He could tell that he was still very much weighed down by the armor pieces. Satoshi continued his running while focusing on his breathing. He wanted to get to the point where his speed and agility would no longer be encumbered. He used an obstacle course and felt his heart rate increase. He used the course in the massive Tatami Room to test his speed and agility.
Satoshi wore his armor and some training weights to challenge himself. He tested his speed each time with a timer as he went through the obstacle course. He would jump over barricades and crawl under others among other tests. His first go through was rather slow and he was already feeling winded.
He rolled through the obstacle course a second time with the same time result on the timer. He took a break to read over the Soko Sento scroll again. The techniques seemed very difficult. Nonetheless, he continued with another run through the course.
After that run through he could tell he was making process by the time. He still had a long way to go so he removed his armor and body weights. He went through the obstacle course in a flash without them. Satoshi compared the times on the separate course runs. With a sigh, he put the armor and weights back on and knew that he still had a long way to go.
He could tell that he was making progress with each run through and subsequent break. He took a short break to catch his breath and read the scroll. After wiping the sweat from his face, he ran through the course again. After he did so and checked the time he saw that he was making progress.
After Satoshi viewed that time score he removed the body weights. Then he ran through the course with just his armor on and showed an immense time reduction. Satoshi ran through again just to ensure the accuracy of the previous run. He could tell that he was definitely picking up speed with just the armor on.
Satoshi was very close to his goal. Now he would begin doing a series of agile movements with his armor on. He felt much more comfortable after making his movements in the armor. He performed a backflip in his armor as well to improve his evasiveness.
The pirate captain then returned to the obstacle course. He ran through it and noticed that his speed was markedly improved. After another run-through, he was now exactly as fast as he was before. Once he celebrated this he returned to his agility training.
Finally, he needed to finish his agility training. He performed a variety of dodging motions with his medium armor on. He used his body weights for a while to build up stamina. Once he took the weights off and practiced again he noticed an immense improvement. He was now a master of the Armored Shinobi training.

Once that was completed, Satoshi returned the scroll from the wall to the shelves. He selected a taijutsu scroll for Kyotoryuu which seemed to suit his purposes. He unraveled the scroll and pinned it to the wall before sheathing his sword and assuming a taijutsu stance. He practiced the various stances and turned his hands into chopping forms. Satoshi moved his way from stage to stage. He chopped his hands in various forms as a wordless swordsman. He supposed that fighting while unarmed would be worthwhile. His arms were becoming extensions of his inner swordsman. The arms themselves were becoming swords as he slashed his arms to and fro. Satoshi continued into the advanced stages of the style. Each technique was increasing in general complexity. He reached the most complex techniques of the final stage. After a short break, he managed to persist through his training until mastery.

Satoshi put the Kyotoryuu scroll away and then grabbed the Mach Fist Style scroll. Taijutsu was not his specialty, unlike bukijutsu, but this style seemed fiercely powerful. He read over it twice before pinning it to the wall. With his hands available, he was able to practice the stances. The stances for the style were very simple. It seemed mostly about landing very powerful punches. Satoshi grabbed a dummy and placed it in front of him before punching it as hard as he could. He landed a serious of devastatingly powerful punches. They increased in intensity with each and every strike on the practice dummy. He managed to master the first few stages without too much trouble. However, the following stages were significantly more challenging. With each blow from his fist a massive explosion would follow suit. Thankfully they paid extra for the stronger walls in the training area. He found that with each barrage of mach punches that he was growing in advanced proficiency. He landed several combinations of punches each with different patterns of mach explosions. Finally, he managed to master the entire style and every technique.

The seasoned shinobi from Konohagakure would browse the large ship, wandering wherever he pleased as he would work on learning the ins and outs of the structure. After several hours he came upon a room that Satoshi had clearly been using for his training, with him standing in it's center. This Tatami matted room would have some very high ceilings, allowing for Masato to do what he was asked to do. Train Satoshi. "Yo." he called as he awaited the man to finish. He moved forward, his eyes black from the lack of ocular application. " If you're looking to start working on those eyes of yours, now's the time." He rasied his hand and gestured for the man to approach him casually. " Let's see what you've got. " Masato knew that it wouldn't be so easy as a demonstration of skill. He would soon be pushing the young Uchiha nephew of his to his breaking point.

▱▰▱Satoshi was training and developing the techniques of his heritage in the Uchiha section of the clan chambers. The room was spacious and dimly lit by numerous candles and a massive banner on the wall with the Uchiha clan symbol. There were numerous scrolls containing techniques and histories of the clan as well. The whole area seemed more like a shrine to the Uchiha but with matted dojo floors for training and dummies and other training equipment strewn about. When his uncle entered the room, Satoshi immediately activated his Sharingan. His exposed yellow eye would turn red with a single black tomoe. His Sharingan was truly nascent in its abilities as indicated by its single tomoe. As Masato spoke to him, he removed his eyepatch and place it in his breast pocket. This revealed that his right eye also had the Sharingan but it was black with glowing purple tomoe. Satoshi visibly winced in pain when his eye was revealed as if he stubbed his toe. "Aye, this be the hour of my sharingan's expansion." He unsheathed a cutlass blade with a katana handle from his left hip before using it to place a small cut on his left palm. His right hand was clothed in a black glove. Pressing a finger to his lightly bloodied hand a puff of smoke would occur but nothing appeared. The same crow as always, Yogen, remained on his shoulder with purple eyes that glowed brighter from the moment that Satoshi's ghastly crow eye was revealed. Satoshi examined Masato with the Sharingan lens of insight and tried to get accustomed to it before using it in combat. Satoshi placed his feet in an L shape and pointed his blade up in a defensive posture using his right hand. He then quickly assumed a low to the ground position and thrust the saber upward to pierce Masato's head from beneath the chin. The force behind this simple strike was powerful yet precise. Satoshi was prepared to use his Sharingan to analyze his uncle's counterattacks and was interested in seeing his combat skills up close.

Masato's crimson eyes would track the actions of his slightly aged nephew as he removed his eye patch and would cut himself, summoning his crow companion. He watched avidly, seeing the similarities of Sandayu in his son. Then, as Masato trailed his body's every action with his piercing sharingan he would advance. While Masato was accustomed to fighting such physical movements, he remembered well the lesson that his boy's wretched mother had taught him of genjutsu. He would see Satoshi illuminated the color of his chakra as he advanced with his saber with the clear intention to slash at his throat from below. "Weak" he said as he used a fluid half circle motion of his extended hand to guide the broad side of the weapon that was poised for his chin away from him with a firm and solid strike. The power of the strike would reverberate in the weapon until the hands used to wield the weapon were numbed and Satoshi would find himself unable to wield the weapon.
Masato's crimson eyes glared down on his target as the fist that had been left in position while the extended hand deflected Sato's attack would ignite with a demonic, red chakra that took the form of the Kyuubi's head. The chakra formation was complete with menacing red eyes and a gaping maw that would snap at his Nephew as he extended a powerful punch that threatened to crush the jawline of the man before him. Masato would intentionally fill his attacks with malice and dread, intending to drive young Satoshi into a fear of his life. This was the method to creating the correct conditions for unlocking the man's Sharingan potential.
