Scoria wants to make sure those who come for her stones are capable caregivers for new foals. In order to do this, she wants you to bring her a unique - but safe! - toy for a young foal to play with. Consider it payment in exchange for the stone.
Betty Bay had heard the call of Scoria. "A stone to attract young and abounded fawns?" she voiced in wonderment. She had come form a large family and was a doe somewhere in the middle of the group so she had had her fair share of fawn sitting. She loved it really and as a young fawn always wanted to have a large family of her own. And with her resent adventure with Juniper, and abound fawn that Fawn had found she truly knew the gift being a mother would be to an abounded fawn in need. All she had to do was find a toy, a unique toy that is both fun and safe.
There was so many ideas funning through her head. She herself had had a stuffed jack hop her father had given to her as a fawn form one of his many trips to the Ruins but that really was not unique in anyway. Special sure and she still had it in her den even. Shacking her head she tried to think of something else. As she pasted think of a toy, Chenoa watched her not really sure how to help.
Then it dawned out her a great thing she had loved to play with as a fawn. Her and her sibling had all loved it. I was both a challenge and beautiful and perfect for what Socria needed. "Chenoa i am going to need you help. We need to gather two pine cones, some strong rope veins, four white birch sticks, and i have to go to my den for a couple things." Chenoa nodded her understanding and took off. Betty Called after her to meet back here as soon as possible, then she raced off to her den.
It did not take long for her to reach her den she only live 3 miles form where Socria was passing out the stones. Once in her den she found the ring that made a raddling sound and the metal with a ball inside that made a beautiful ringing sound. These had been the two things she had manage to save form her child hood toy after a major storm had pasted through Vykeli. Grabbing them in her mouth she raced back to the meeting spot and waited for Chenoa.
As she waited Betty thought of all the times she had dreamed of being a mother. She hope she would be a good one even though her mother had not really been there for her she knew that she would never do the same to her fawns. No she was going to work very hard to make sure her fawns knew they were loved and cared for. She would tell them everyday how proud she was of them and how much she cared. Chenoa appeared form the bushes with the rest of the needed items and that brought Betty back to the task at hand.
"Ok so we are going to make a hanging toy. My oldest brother made one for me and my siblings when we were just fawns." she explained to Chenoa who was now giving her a funny look. "He would hang it up just out of our reach and we had to jump up and try to make it make a sound. It was so much fun and we make a wonderful game out of it." Betty smiled at the memory of the games. "Honestly I think my brother made it so we would trier ourselves out but it was fun and we did nap really well afterwards."
Betty explained to Chenoa where each item needed to be so that the toy would be well balanced. The metal bell would ring even now and the rattle would shack ever time Chenoa tied a new thing to it which made Betty grin almost every time. Once finished Betty knew there was only one way to know if it work so she had Chenoa hang it in a tree. Jumping up a few time to test, the bell and rattler made a cute little musical sound which told Betty it was read for turn in. "Ok great it is ready for Socria." Chenoa took it back down and gave it to Betty.
As Betty walked back to Socria she wondered if the toy was unique enough for such a gift. She really hoped so. It had been such a great toy in her childhood. Once in front of Socria, Betty lay the toy on the ground. "My familiar and I have made a tree mobile. It is great fun and good for young fawns to improve their jumping skills and helps build up stamina." betty explained how it worked and that she had one as a child and even some of the parts were from her old one as a fawn. Then she waited it silence, Betty truly hoped to found worthy to care such a stone and to soon start a family.
Socria inspects the toy laid before her. Turning to Betty Bay she smiles happily and pushes forward a stone for Betty to take. "You will make a great mother to whoever finds their way to you." Warmth and love and wonderment floods through Betty. She knew she was a good noul, but to be a good mother was all she really wanted in life. To raise then next generation in a loving and care home is all she could hopeful. Taking the stone And staying her thank to Socria, Betty felt with a spring in her step and hope in her heart.
