Personality: Sethaeus has always been a trooper, one that will endure to the end. Growing up, he often chased after his elder cousin, wanting to participate but being too small and too short. As a result, he would return home with bleeding knees and palms, but never a tear to show he was in pain. No, he had endurance like none other, and as he grew up this expanded for emotional and mental endurance. He doesn't tend to take things to heart, or get upset, but he does have high expectations. It's his endurance that allows him to stumble, fall, but always get up again to fight toward his out-of-reach goal.
Although he isn't one to take anything to heart, he does hold high expectations for himself. His end goal is to create the greatest weapon in the current age, one that will be talked about for generations to come. As a result, anything he creates he notices the flaws immediately, and will grow frustrated with his work. It's hard for him to deem something he's worked on as complete, and often it takes his family to remind him that too much alteration can weaken the blade. This is something he needs to work heavily on, and as a result his cousin will check in frequently to make sure he stops before it's too late.
Sethaeus has a family that tends to keep things old school. As a result, he's one of those people who follow the old ways. He enjoys natural things and praises deities that have no name but exist in the form of nature. He does respect technology, but at the end of the day he holds his faith and continues to do so by thanking the resources he receives. After all, no matter what technology you use, you still use flame and stone to craft weapons, a natural process that takes skill in hands and can't be completed by a technological solution. He doesn't mind technology, but doesn't see it as something that impacts him as a smith outside of how people gather and ship the resources to his forge.

History: Sethaeus comes from a long line of blacksmith families, all part of the Sector of Safety. Well known for their skill, they focus specifically on metal bending. Their secret craft is passed down from patriarch to offspring, and often they will not have more than one child each generation. As a result, not many of their family who still practices have traveled away from the original forge. Currently, his grandfather and grandmother have both retired, leaving his father, uncle, and cousin as main workers in the forge.
Located in Hafelle, the family has many interactions with the technological focused lightning members. Aware of the guns and magic they favor, the blacksmith group has refused to move away from their blade-focused trade, and as a result often are seen as a bit more 'behind the times' compared to others who have taken advantage of the gun fascination. They aren't too bothered, as most of their clients are Geians (who do not use guns) and the Lightning class who still fight with might over magic.
Sethaeus doesn't mind the direction his family is going, and even holds pride in the quality of work and renoun his family has. He can't wait to officially step in as a blacksmith, and eventually be taught the family secret for crafting the most balanced blades (in their opinion) in the land. He has no interest in learning how to craft bronze guns, and really just wants to make a name for himself in his family, possibly by creating great weapons the bards will sing about over generations to come.
