New plants were springing up like weeds this season and Fawn was having trouble keeping up with them all. Their trip to the barrens had been an exhausting one and little Juniper had fallen asleep the moment they had returned to their den. Russet Fawn herself went on to tending to the few seedlings that were scattered on the grounds around her home. She had weeded them and kept them watered with a handled container. To was easy to pull small bits of water from the larger barrel and toss it on the plants. The sprinkling of water seemed to be enough to keep them growing. As Fawn paused in the watering of her plants she glanced around looking for someone.

From the bushes a Jack Hop bound, the pouch he had vanished with showed signs of having a multitude of seeds packed within it. When he came to a stop, Talltale looked up at Fawn. "New plant has started popping up out there." He said pulling a strange leaf from the pouch.

Fawn took a look at the leaf, it was a strange green color with white streaks through it. Tilting her head to one side she looked at the Jack Hop, "Where'd you find this?" She asked nosing at the leaf as if to try and get a scent off it.

Talltale looked back the direction he had come from and gestured, "Found a huge patch of them that way. Seems another Botanic has started bringing them back."

This got Russet Fawn curious as she stepped past the Jack Hop, before stopping and looking towards the den. She couldn't rightly leave Juniper alone. Shaking her head a little she wandered over to the opening and called inside. "Hey Juniper, You awake sweetie?"

No answer came at first, but then a small voice came from the back as large brown eyes almost seemed to glow in the darkness. "Yes Mama."

"Was wondering if you were up for another adventure. Seems Talltale has found something new."

When Fawn was finished, small hooves came bounding towards the opening of the den as the small Mahogany bay foal appeared. She looked up at Fawn with excitement, seems that the time in the Barrens had faded away with the small nap she had had.

"Something new?" Juniper bounced. She had always liked new things and this was something exciting. Her mind had been transfixed on the events that had happened in the barrens. The way the bush grew from the touch of her mother's magic.

"Yes and I need your help hunting for it." Fawn said as she nuzzled against the foal.

Energy renewed, Jumiper bound over to Talltale to see what he had brought. She looked the small leaf all over, taking in everything. After a few moments, the trio had headed off to hunt for this new leaf. It only took a short walk to find them. Seems the plants had sprouted not too far from where they lived. This made Fawn tilt her head a little, seemed the plant spread faster then creeper vine. Still, it didn't phase Juniper. The small foal bound around the patch as if it were her huge find. Fawn could only smile and shake her head.

"How about we scoop some of these up and we can plant you a small garden. What do you think?" Fawn asked as Juniper stopped, tail twitching.

"Can we Mama? I would take good care of them!" Juniper said as she pranced in place. "Maybe when I grow up and go for my tree quest, thingy. I will be like you. Caring for plants and helping others."

"Of course." was all Fawn could say while trying not to laugh as Juniper's antics. "You will become something special when you visit the tree. But don't limit yourself to just the power of a Botanic. There are many different gifts."

Juniper looked at her mother as if the doe had two heads or more. There were more then just plant magic? This would be something she would have to ask about more in the future. For the time being she was more excited to have her own little garden. Something she could tend to and nurture. Shaking his head, Talltale set to digging up the roots of a few of the leaves. He would be the one to carry them back, for the time being he only took three. If they spread like this, Juniper's little garden would be a large on in no time at all. With the plants collected, they headed back home to set things up.
