Sometimes we find ourselves in places unfamiliar to us. We can choose to adapt or find our way home. You awaken alone in a snowy mountain range you’ve never seen before, with nothing familiar in sight. What do you do?
Still bowing Betty's mind is swirled away from the physical place she was in and taken away into the vision of the Grandfather Tree. It was easier this time then it had been the first time and she fought the experience less. As she came wake and aware though the vision was much more real feeling and even hard to determine whether she was in the vision of reality.
Btty lookes around trying to get her bearings when the sound of crunching draws her attention to her hoofs.
"Snow?" she says in bewilderment and shock.
"Where did this come form?" Looking back up she can now see that she is high a top a snowy mountain range. But this is no mountain she has ever seen in Vykeli. The wind whips and whistles as is makes it way to Betty and the cold carried by it peruses her to the born.
"Well I can not stay here." she say to herself and the wind as it pasts her by.
Looking to the sun, Betty can see that it is midday and shelter is going to be her first priority. Next she look north, then south, then east, and lastly west. West is were she spots very some billow of smoke. Form her experience of smoke and the others her instances tell her that might not be the best direction to go. East would take her into the dark of night faster but direction there is more black blue trees which gives her hope of finding a warm wayward pine. This is the direction she sets off in since it seemed to be the best option.
"Maybe there will be nouls or jack hops or scuttles down there to point me in the right direction of home." Betty commented as she begin her descent.
It was hard getting down the cold icey snowed mountain. Her legs where pretty cut up by the time she reached the start of the tree line but nothing to deep or dangerous. As she reached the first line of trees and sign in bright orange with black squiggles was nailed to every other trunk.
"Strange." Betty said as she walked over to one of the signs. Though she did not know how to read it she did recognize the squiggles as something she had once seen in the ruins; this was a sign form the Others.

Walking on passed the signs, Betty headed deeper into trees. The birds above sang happy little songs for a time until finally the sun began to darken and Betty knew it was little to find shelter. Just as she was about to pick a wayward pine to nest down in she spotted a familiar shape; another noul.
"Hello. My name is Betty Bay. I got lost can you tell me where I might be?" She called the noul as she walked toward them. But the closer she got the more the noul she was looking at was much bigger then she had though and...not quit a noul. This stopped Betty in her tracks though she was not afraid or anything this new creature was unfamiliar and that was enough of a reason to keep her distance.
"Why yes I can tell you. I am truly sorry you got lost Betty." The Buck turned towards Betty which allowed her to see that this creature was crowned with branch like horns on his head and he was much taller then her. With a kind smile the Buck said
"You are in the east most part of the Rocky Mountains." Betty had no idea at all what he was talking about. This was no place in Vykeli with a name like that.
"Im sorry but where is that in Vykeli?' She asked shyly not wanting to sound silly but still very lost. A puzzled look crossed the Bucks faces
"Where is Vykeli?" "Umm our home plaint where all noulicorns live?" Still the Buck looked very puzzled and a little nervous now.
"This is Earth my dear doe. And what is a noulicorn?" As he finished the first part of his reply Betty was washed with fear and sorrow; she was on a different plaint!
Just as really panic started to set in Betty's mind was pulled away form the place she was at and she was once again standing before the Grandfather Tree. She was still feel with the emotions of the vision and tears spilled out across her checks.
"Im back. Im back." She said in an attempt to control herself. She loved her home and this vision proved all the more how much she was dedicated to bettering her home land. With a great deep breath in Betty waited for the Great Trees response.
