Sabrina Toneir, a young fennec fox demon, was in her fox form. She was in charge of making sure there were no rodents, or bugs of any kind, within the house. While her job wasn't a fancy one, she did help clean whenever she couldn't find anything out of the ordinary. She would always release the bugs, or rodents, away from the house since she knew life was precious. She lost her memories when she was little, but was thankfully found by her master that she lived with to this day.
Sabrina was currently finishing her part of the cleaning in the living room, while her master was on his way home from school. She had no idea of what she was, or anything about what happened to her before she met her master, or anything. All she knew was that her master meant a lot to her and gave her a second chance at life. All she remembered before their meeting, was darkness and being alone. Other than that, she didn't remember anything before she met her master and her adoptive mother.

Azriel Makra, a young human mage in training, the son of a mage and a dragoness. His mother is a dragoness, a woman born of the bloodline from dragons blood. With both parents of high power magic, and their joining wealth he was able to be put into wealthy schools. Azriel showed great power in magic as a child, and has the ability to summon fire and ice, even a blue chilling flame. He was practicing as a child when he found Sabrina in the forest. He brought her home and she was taken care of, and over time became his personal aid around the house.
Azriel sighed softly as he returned home, brushing his frosty white hair back as he walked to his room but stopped when he passed by Sabrina, "Ah, good afternoon Sabrina, do you mind getting the kettle warmed for some tea?" He asked as he was glad to have some time at home though his parents were off doing business, work and such. He didnt mind his lifestyle as the world was full of magic and fantasy but also econony and such. His father worked a powerful agency for mages who help keep the world in balance, and his mother works as a high ranking member of the government of supernatural creatures. He would probably follow more in his father's footsteps considering his power with magic, but with school and training, he was tired.
"Not at all master. I'll get right on it." She said going to the kitchen and starting the tea kettle. She prepared his favorite kind of tea, and brought it to him, before pouring it into a cup for him and gently handing it to him with her usual smile. She enjoyed being at Azriel's home as he and his parents had done so much for her and her adoptive mother. It was hard to believe now, but she hardly said a word when they first met due to being scared and passed out at the time. Though there was one word they could never figure out, and that word back then was 'booka'. Since she didn't remember anything about her past, she didn't know who or what booka was. After a while she came to trust Azriel and his family and the same could be said for them. Plus she had developed feelings for Azriel, but didn't know how to tell him. She'd do anything for him.
She then turned into her fox form and hopped onto the couch next to him climbing into his lap knowing it would help him to relax some as he would drink his tea. She was always looking for ways to help him relax when he was home. She even got to go with him sometimes when she was allowed to. She always dreamed of learning about where she came from and what she was, but she knew that he was too busy to help with that. She'd done some digging of her own with her adoptive mother, but they couldn't find anything useful as to what she was or where she came from as Fennec fox demons were not all that common. Not much was known about their culture, or natural mannerisms.

He looked at her as she came back, having made his favorite tea which he smiled, gently taking the mug, "Thank you Sabrina." He stated kindly as he watched as she shifted and jumped onto the couch. He lifted his arm and watched as the fox crawled into his lap and curled up, but he gently began scratching her head gently. It had been odd when she first did this, to him it was weird that he was petting the head if someone who was human before but he saw that as a friend, she was trying to help. He sighed softly as he sipped his tea, "Thank you again Sabrina, you know how to help me relax. Schools been busy, with the whole midterm spell and mage training... its been annoying. Im good with many spells and i even am the teachers aid but it just feels like too much pressure." He said feeling like even with all the training and such, being in his father's shadow was tiring. He wamted to be a mage, and wanted to help people however, everything leading up to it was such an obsticle course of trials and tribulations, it was hard not to be tired of it all. In fact, in Azriel's spare time he had been trying to learn spells that could help the little fox curled up in his lap as he felt his help deserved something to aid her life.
Sabrina smiled happily as she stayed curled up in Azriel's lap. "I know it's hard master, but if anyone can do it it's you. I know you can. Plus I'd be happy to help you out whenever you need me to." She said telepathically as she looked at him happily. A fennec fox was the world's smallest fox and mostly they lived in desert like habitats. It was rare to see one there let alone own one. Many times, when she was in her fox form in front of others when she first got there, she was thought to be a pet. She was really shy back then but had come to love Azriel and everyone else in the house. In her current form, she was the size of a kitten, maybe a little bigger, and just as fluffy. It was hard to believe that Sabrina actually bit Azriel in her fox form when she was little, and had clawed his arm up pretty bad. Whenever that memory was brought up she still felt bad. That day still ran through her mind, she had been wandering the forest all day in search of some food and water. She never knew what parents were, or what the outside world was like as she had been in that forest for as long as she could remember and back then, her memories were gone.The only family she had were a bunch of animals that lived in the forest. She'd been attacked by an eagle while she was trying to get some berries from a bush that she found, blueberries to be exact. Plus they were by a small stream. Had Azriel not come by just as the eagle had attacked her, she most likely wouldn't have made it at all. It was touch and go if she would survive her wounds, but thanks to Azriel's father and mother being home at the time, her life was saved. They actually thought of her as their daughter but she insisted on thanking them by working for them to pay off her debt. That was how her adoptive mother, the head maid, came to adopt her. The woman taught her all she knew about cleaning and cooking. She even taught her some recipes that Azriel really liked back then. She and Azriel even played together when they were kids, after he found her. She was so grateful for him saving her that to this day, she wanted to stay with him no matter what. Though what she really wanted, was to admit her feelings for him.

Her telepathy had always made him feel a bit weird but he did come to like it. He had been a bit freaked out as a child when he thought he was hearing voices when they were young. However, they were always able to communicate when she was in fox form like this, able to have secret conversations when around other people. What neither of them knew was this was also helped by a secret connection the two of them had. She was actually like his familiar or spirit guide in a sense, she was part demon and as such,when he found her near death, he unknowningly bonded with her, saving her in a way but it also allowed them to work well together. He smiled at her offer, "Thank you for that Sabrina but i dont want you to get hurt while helping me... i appreciate all that you do for me but would hate to see you get hurt over something like training for a lifestyle that you may not be apart of." He said more as Sabrina was apart of his life outside mages and magic in his mind. To him, she was a close friend and in a way, an escape to ease his mind and just enjoy life outside of school and his father's shadow.
Sabrina couldn't help but smile as he said that. After a while, Sabrina had fallen asleep in Azreil's lap. She always enjoyed his gentle touch and it always helped her to relax as well. She woke up in her room, and stretched as she always did if she fell asleep in her master's lap. Sabrina then saw the time, and went to help with dinner preparations. She set the table making sure to set a place for Azriel's parents, knowing they'd be with them for dinner tonight. Sabrina smiled as she did this, before going to fetch her master for dinner once it was being plated. Once she found him she said "Master, dinner is ready." with her usual sweet smile on her face. She ate with her mother and the other servants/help in the kitchen after Azriel's family had eaten. She wished she could sit with Azriel and his family like when she was little though. She missed all the fun times they had together when he was free when they were children.

Azriel looked up at her as she had come to alert him that dinner was ready but as they was excited to be dining with his parents, a servant came to inform him that both were stuck at their respective jobs, dealing with several issues that would keep them from returning home in time for dinner. He sighed a bit to himself but looked at Sabrina before she was about to leave, "Sabrina, would you, would you accompany me at the table for dinner?" He asked inviting him, hoping that she would join him so it wouldnt be just him sitting at a large empty table. He knew his parents were busy but considering many weeks he stayed at the school during the week, due for safety and study reasons, he didnt get to see his parents except on nights like tonight when they shouldnt have been busy but this isnt the first night they had to be at work which they have important jobs. His father basically is in charge of a magic fueled police force and his mother helps keep supernatural beings in check, her work involves a lot of travel around the city when she isnt at her business's nerve center.
When Sabrina heard the news that his parents were stuck at work, she looked a little concerned. Though when Azriel asked her to join him she smiled as she heard him doing so. "I'd love to master. I'll see you soon." She said smiling. As she went to the dining room, her tail couldn't help but wag happily as she missed spending time with Azriel so much. She sat across from him when they were eating. It had been forever since she had eaten with him, so she was a little nervous. Well, more like she had butterflies in her stomach because of her love for him. Though she was smiling, she wanted nothing more than to tell him how she felt, but felt it wasn't her place to be with him, which made her heart break whenever he would talk about other things like girls at school who loved him. Though he most likely wouldn't return their feelings, she was nervous about telling him out of fear that he wouldn't feel the same way.

He smiled and nodded, glad that she wanted to join him and even quietly gave a soft chuckle seeing her tail wag as she went to get her meal. When she finally joined him at the table, he smiled and nodded as he was glad to have her company. As they ate however, as Azriel was going to ask about how its been around the house while he was at the campus when he noticed she seemed rather deep in thought about something. At least that or he figured she was spaced out some as she ate but he looked to her, "How is your meal Sabrina and is everything okay?" He asked curiously wondering if she was just in thought or if something was wrong that she needed help with.
Sabrina smiled and said "It's nothing important, Master. Just lost in thought is all. And the food is very delicious." She didn't want him to worry about her. She knew he cared for her, but didn't want him to think he had to love her for her sake. For now, she'd keep her feelings a secret but she hoped that whenever she did tell him that he would return her feelings. There was an amity ball coming up later this month at his school from what she'd heard. While she'd never been to one herself, she wanted to go and be Azriel's date for it. She'd never been to any kind of dance or anything as anything other than the help.

Azriel looked at her when she spoke but nodded, "Alright, but dont feel like you cant ever talk to me, id be happy to lend an ear." He said as he smiled, "Miguel has outdone himself with the cooking as usual." He said as they had a personal cook. He would finish up his meal and thought it over, "Anyway, i should continue studying, starting monday when i head back, we work on summoning familiars and support creatures. We have already been trying on friday and i apparently havent been doing things properly, so I am going to try again on monday." He stated taking a sip of his drink.
"Well don't get discouraged master. If you'd like help don't be afraid to ask. I don't know how much help I could be, but, like I said before, but what I'm here for is to help you." She said as her tail swayed happily behind her. Sabrina didn't know this but she was indeed a form of familiar. Though she didn't have an actual master, she was more than happy to help Azriel. As they finished up, she felt happy that Azriel wanted her around. It made her feel like she belonged with him. Even if she felt he didn't feel the same when it came to her feelings for him, she was happy just being around him and being his friend.

He heard what she said and nodded, "Thank you, personally i wouldnt mind the company while i practice figuring out why the spells arent working as they should." He said as he figured that it would be good to have someone just there as support. He got up and walked to his room, grabbing his bookbag and walked to where he had a desk set up, but he got the book out and was reading over the spells and magic for summoning familiars and support creatures, and wasnt sure what he was doing wrong. In his room, his bed was off to the side, he knew that most times since their werent any other seats that Sabrina would normally sit on the bed when she was in his room.
Sabrina nodded smiling as she gave her dishes to her friend who was another servant before following Cody to his room. She then turned into her fox form and jumped onto the bed which was next to his desk watching him carefully. She wanted so badly to tell him how she felt but didn't want to disrupt his studies. Then she had a brave moment after a while and said "Master.......Can I talk to you about something? I promise it won't take long." as she had turned back into her true form wanting to tell him how she felt finally.
