Misty had moved her way around the edges of Homewood. She had yet to really enter the forest again as she seemed to be looking for something. Just that something wouldn't be anywhere close to here. No, that would be out in the Barrens. She glared out at the hot lands before she turned away from them and through the trees. Her tail giving a flick as if telling the barrens to 'piss off'. She would find that scuttle scale another time when she had more in her pocket.
"That little lizard will get what is coming to him. Sooner or later'." Misty muttered as she moved farther along.
When Misty finally stopped she was in an area she had never been, then again she hadn't really been too many places in Homewood to begin with. Looking around the area everything just looked the same. Why was the forest so thick? Surely there was a time when things were thinned out and everyone could breath!
"Tree here and a tree there. Trees everywhere and not a blot of sky to see." she looked up to see just branches over head. Had she really come to one of the thicker parts of Homewood?
Snorting to herself looking away from the tangle of branches over head. Something caught Misty's eye. Something that was somewhat different from the rest of the green in the forest. It was a smaller plant, almost hidden within the grass itself. Its leaves were a darker green almost purple close to the center. Tilting her head, she hadn't really been interested in plants, but this one looked like it didn't belong. Against all the brightness it was like her, out of place.
"Well, hello there." She said stepping closer to the plant. "What kind of plant are you and why are you growing here?"
She talked to the plant as if it would even answer her. This caused her to chuckle quietly to the thought of the plant answering. Had she fallen that far that she was talking to a plant like it was a friend? Shaking her head Misty reached out to nose at the herb that was growing. Around it were smaller shoots trying to reach the sun around the larger one. With a grin and perhaps to just give the rest a chance at surviving, Misty reached out and plucked the herb. Turning she started wandering off with it in her mouth. If anything she might be able to get it to root elsewhere? Who knew.
