the den was dark as moonlight barely breached the darkness , just out of reach of his paws his heavy eyelids fluttered between sleep and the waking world. life was going so well, he had a loving family though spread out across the world of kells they where within his reach, however his sons where facing issues, black water struggled with his headaches while nightingale grew ever more distant, reckless even. Azure was blind to the reason, didn't his son have what he needed in life? a safe pack, family and food. it boggled his mind, but not as much as the memory that plagued his night terrors. for the last few night memories of repressed pup-hood trauma plagued him.

" I still haven't accomplished what I set out to do, what am I doing" he asked himself weakly, drained from the sleep that escaped him, his claws clenched at the ground in his empty den. rolling over onto the spot where blood falcon had slept on not but a few nights ago beside him. it soothed him with her scent still lingering within. he soon brought himself to all fours as the memories of his parents ding echoed in his mind, his sisters cries for his help and sorrow for their parents. he hated how theses memory plagued him to a point of him feeling helpless and week, he however felt better at the thought of his family how much he had accomplished here more than he would have outside of crows.

his tail swayed smiling at the memories of his pups so young, nestled between the tuft of fur on blood falcons belly. he remembered how happy it made him felt, his tail waged, he stepped outside his den staring up at the moon.He was pondering having more puppies and hope that he and blood falcon would have more to come, but the sad whimper of his sister as a puppy echoed in the back of his mind, he had to find her eventually but for now he had to keep doing his job, seeing to his family before he could go out to take care of the issue at paw.

he stared out up onto the rocks where nightingale normally would perch , he was not there he had to do something, he couldn't just let this continue nightingale was a smart promising young wolf going down a dark path, and for what? azure knew not what bothered his son. he thought for a moment remembering the plans he made with blood falcon and perhaps maybe he could join them maybe even visit his surrogate mother and her brother. last he talked to them they where trying to get their pack back up and running again. though he was not blood to them they always treated him like family. he always felt at home there as much as he did here with the crows.

after taking a walk around the grounds he made his way back, having not seen his son anywhere, he knew he would be back in the morning for his duties as a hunter. so pushing the nagging thoughts to the back of his mind he once again attempted to sleep hoping he could help both his boys or at least support them while blood falcon took care of them. he soon drifted to sleep worry slowly drifting as his mind relaxed.
