emotion_ghost Day # 1 emotion_ghost Theme: Artist Card  Comments: I've never done art memes before (even though i wanna and even thou im too lazy to do so) and i took a chance to do a simple one. If i did an an actual artist card, i'd probably use a vector program for the actual card outline. the brush represents me. i designed her few years back so sorry for the cliche-dness. i have her facts on a scrap paper somewhere but was too lazy to reference her so drew her from my head... my laziness knows no bounds.... Aww crap, i forgot to include gaming in my 'heart' section... oh well too lazy to make changes.

emotion_ghost Day # 2 emotion_ghost Theme: Winning prize art for The_Great_Fairy_of_Hyrule Comments: I'm pretty happy with how the coloring turned out. maybe i'll post a speedpaint after xx years. Something i learnt when painting is to try cool and warm colors (blue and yellow) and a bit of the underpainting thingamajig. When you paint blue and yellow in trad media, it becomes green but digitally that doesnt happen. and i feel like screamin everytime stuff like this happen coz u gotta learn twice the amount - especially when u art both trad and digital... -_- I wish i had made the yellows pop a bit more but i didnt want to overtake it... (also unconscious fear of muddyin the painting green hair coz of trad media learning i guess...) Need to practice more on jewelry and gems... my weakness and u can barely see the texture in the art... how do artist put those texture and make them visible and not make the colors go blegh looking?! at least i like the roses - they are lineless! =D comment section will more likely become my personal evaluation on what i gotta improve and what i've tried (unless i get too lazy to type tht as well lol)

Link to EDIT! emotion_ghost Day # 3 emotion_ghost Theme: my oc toy art entry for The Prism Project Zine Comments: unfortunately i cannot show the actual art - it's against zine rules sorry. after i get the ok to post the art, i'll edit this section with the proper image. can't say too much about the art itself (spoiler spoiler! =D ) but what i did learn in this is not to procrastinate so much lol i learnt a lot from the 2 zine pieces (yes this is only one the other one was done long ago) particularly backgrounds, characters and a bit more of colors. i can remember struggling a bit with the colors in this piece but tht's mainly coz i was too frightened to paint and make mistake (there's only so much undo commands) That's something i gotta break. i also need to work on adding effects like sunlight In this, i discarded the sunlight it looks awful. i may add some effects n stuff tomorrow. i like how the dress turned out. i think ive gotten a bit better at painting clothes from before.

What An Ewww Tree! event for Christmas 2019  Comments: i wish i knew how to get that really good bright n clean photos from my phone like the pros... i havent done any trad media for some time since i've been running around but i really like how he turned out in this - less cutesy and more mature looking as I wanted now let's just hope i wont make any stupid mistakes as i finish it up later coz there's no undo button to save me lol

emotion_ghost Day # 7 emotion_ghost Theme: Art freebie for frantichalo  Comments: I tried out a new software rebelle 3 and i really like it. i cant remember having some fun like this experimenting on a new software that i really wanna try. i always love painting traditionally after all.<3 gonna take some time mastering it properly if i decide to buy the full version (which i may) sadly the trial version doesn't allow saving so i had to take screenshots as proof so u can't really see the paper textures and stuff but i hope to upload the speedpaint after this event is over so u may see in better quality!

Gonna take time to get used to it. I finally completed watching Code Geass so I decided to do a simple doodle of C.C. God i really like this software...(on a side note, I wasn't very active coz i was completing up my zine projects - cant really share wips of those so i couldnt post anything else sorry!)

emotion_ghost Day # 12 emotion_ghost Theme: Canvas  Comments: Frgt to post this - too lazy to add my typintypos sig so i did a heart finger pose! Did a canvas painting. I'm hopeless at it but i still try. One day, i'll be good at it. =) This was a bit experimental - i was playing around with other objects and abstract palette knife. Only thing was I didn't really own a palette knife so I used my trusty old butter knife instead lol Also, you can see this in the photo (my wonderful photo skills OTL) but i also added a bit of gold glitter to make it a bit 'ooooh!!!' It s h i n e s and s p a r k l e s! emotion_kirakira It looks better when u can see that.

emotion_ghost Day # 13 emotion_ghost Theme: Final final commission wip for OrliDeppgrl1526  Comments: The absolute final wip for Orli's OC, Xalia (aka Azalea d'Vangeline)! I fixed the dress now, it look closer to her original colors. Also repaint her hair coz i wasnt satisfied with the previous attemptRemoved the foreground tree so u guys can see the delicious mountainous details (but may add it back if Orli likes it tht way) All tht's let is the final color effects and adjustments which can be done within half an hour (hopefully) Next time (hopefully tmorrow) you guys will see the final art!

(and her eagle bf Xander) This was a bit scary to do than Raivyn's art but it is still pretty cool to see how it turned out! Was procrastinatin on this coz I was super nervous it wouldn't turn out as I want it to be. background art + character isnt my strength but i do love painting. it just takes too long... sweatdrop
