🌿 𝓗𝓲𝓼𝓽𝓸𝓻𝔂 🌿

Once a very large bear tribe, Swamp Glean long made a living farming various provisions for neighboring wolf packs and other tribes. When an invasive spore killed off their lands, the bears were forced to seek new grounds. Many trade alliances became threatened and more were severed. Collectively, the bears decided it would be beneficial to divide their tribe; each individual group would go in a different direction in hopes of quickly finding a new start. Before departing, each group chose a name.
The Sundew tribe of Swamp Glean settled in a western island region of Kells known as The Hollow. It is a place unlike any other. This, the verdant interior of a massive, ancient tree, though itself long passed is now a thriving island of life. After the surrounding area, they called their beautiful new home, Garden Hollow.
Led by the she-bear, Raindrop Song, the Sundew tribe has successfully established a farm that has been, for 2 season cycles, producing them berries, plants, and even a thriving bee colony for honey production. A cave system was claimed as their home and the large trees of the area provide other means of security and use. With trades already in motion (honey for blueberries), the Sundew tribe hopes to reestablish connections with the mother tribe someday soon.

Bears will only be accepted as tribe members. Trade relations of all species are welcome.

Mainland was in the Swamp.

Blueberries do not grow well so the tribe trades outside for them.

Spring is a busy time spent working.

Summer is festival season.

Fall is winter prep time.

Winter is a sleepy time spent in caves and dens.

Seeking trade agreements with familiars skilled at making baskets and other useful gardening and farming supplies.

Seeking trade agreements with individuals to trade fruits, vegetables that the tribe is in need of. Wolf trade relations welcome.

Seeking Coffee trade with other creatures or invented plants to help with the
winter sleepy feeling. PM or DM me if you have plot ideas for this concept.

Flings are welcome as they grow the tribe.

Destroying a tribemates work intentionally will result in punishment or banishment, depending on the damage done.

Work for the good of the tribe.

Please only pick 3-5 items for your farm plot, the tribe works together to have bountiful harvests. No one bear needs to try to do everything and the kitchen sink on their plot.

Bears only in the tribe.

Familiar trade relations welcome and loved. Please PM or DM me if you have plot ideas.

The rains bring life to the seeds. The seeds bring life to the tribe. Honor nature and all it provides the tribe. Nature should always be honored and respected, celebrated when time allows. Festivals and joy to celebrate the bounty that nature provides.
