The weather report called for snow, and a lot of it! Overnight, a foot of snow has covered Destiny City in a beautiful blanket of white, and schools and most businesses are closed! When you venture outside however, the air feels almost temperate, and picking up the snow is a lot like picking up some sun warmed sand at the beach. What might have caused this? Is it global warming playing some sort of trick, or just the imps that seem to linger in the city? The strangely warm snow day lasts for only a day though, by the next day, the air is bitterly cold again, and all of that wonderful snow is somehow gone without a trace!

Jiho was not a man who became sick quite so easily. He kept in shape, worked out, and wore face masks as much as possible going out. Not only because of his general disposition of liking hiding his face, but because he knew people were generally disgusting and he preferred to come off as unapproachable.

So when he DID become sick, he was at a little loss of what to do next. Before, he had his group 'mom' to care for him, perhaps a bit embarrassingly. They were all such a tight knit little family, and it was easy to depend on one another.... But that option was gone now, and Jiho had no one to depend on. At least no one here in his tiny little apartment.

He laid there miserable for a while, face flushed, sweat pouring down his face even though his AC was set pretty low to save on money... Even breathing was becoming hard at this point...

There was no sense in sitting around and simply suffering. Though he hated it, he knew medicine could help, so he peeled himself off of his couch and did his best to get bundled up to make the slow trek to the nearby pharmacy.

The moment he stepped outside, he felt puzzled, and more than a little overheated. The air shouldn't be this warm... Should it? Was his fever worse than what he originally imagined? Perhaps a hospital would have been a smarter choice than simply getting some pain killers, but it was too late now. And he was fairly certain he couldn't exactly call an uber in weather like this..

So off he went, at least for a short while, until a particularly well hidden bit of black ice caught him off guard, and he went tumbling into a snowbank.

Struggle as he might, he simply could not get back up, and resigned to his fate of being weak and pathetically stuck in the snow, flushed with fever, which surely must mean it was getting worse, since even the snow didn't feel cold.

Ian was, not for the first time, alone in the large Jacob's family home. Everyone else was off in Europe living their lives and he could have been there too, it wasn't like he wasn't invited, the dark haired male had chosen to remain in this city. He didn't know exactly why, though maybe it had to do with spending the holidays with his mother, but beyond the holidays themselves it was rather boring - even for him. Ian liked being on his own, often hiding in his basement bedroom, but even he was getting bored with the empty house and was considering asking for a pet - or something!

After a while on his computer, he'd lost track of time, Ian had decided to go out for a walk just to see what the weather was like and get some fresh air. He was fairly certain he needed to do some grocery shopping as well, he was coming up short on a few things he needed in the kitchen, so it was time to trek out into the cold.

What he didn't expect was for it to not be cold...and yet there was snow on the ground as he headed down the sidewalk. Undoing the scarf he wore, it was too warm, the dark haired male wasn't surprised to see other equally confused people. What he didn't expect to see was someone fall right over like some weeble sent wobbling off balance...and right into a snowbank.

Shaking his head he hurried over to offer some help up. "Come on, let me help."

For a long moment, Jiho remained in the snow, face down. Maybe if it had been any other night, the cool of the snow would have shocked him awake again, enough so that he could get back up and continue the trek to the store. It wasn’t so far away, if he remembered correctly... But the snow was horribly warm and cozy and he simply couldn’t bring himself to move at all.

Perhaps he would die here. Ironic given the number of songs he had written about snow and love... If he made it out here alive, he would have to write one about death and pain... A vague memory passed his mind of an old song that had the singer die dramatically in the snow.

He certainly wouldn’t write something so cheesy and obscene.

A soft voice pulled him from his sickly musings, one that was closer than he liked. The simple distain caused by the mere thought of anyone being so close seemed to give him enough strength to actually sit up, rolling over at the very least.

“Mmm....” words were harder than he liked to admit, and each breath was pained... “... I’m alright. Just... give me a moment...”

"Give me your hand and I'll help you up. I doubt you can make it up on your own." The person looked like they were content to just continue to lay there on the snow, surrounded by the oddly warm stuff. Snow wasn't supposed to be warm, it wasn't even something global warming could be blamed for, the fact that snow was made from cold water meant there was no way it could be warm...and yet it was. If it was warm snow simply couldn't form but this was most certainly snow covering the ground. The only explanation he had for it was magic, as much as he disliked it, and he'd be sure to tell the Jacob's about it when he got home.

They might not be home but he kept them in the loop when things went wrong, just so they knew what was going on in the city. It wasn't that he got himself involved in things, he was too damn lazy of a senshi for such things, but he did notice when odd things happened - like this.

"You look sick." They looked like they had a fever as well, though he could be wrong of course. "Where were you going?" Hopefully a doctor that was close enough that he could help them, he didn't really want to go too far from here, but he'd be willing to help someone as in need as this person seemed to be.

"Do I?" It was sarcasm, for sure. Of course he looked sick, but his soft and tired sounding voice made it sound as if he really was looking for a confirmation on whether or not he was truly sick. And while he didn't exactly like the idea of someone helping him, he wasn't so stubborn to think he could get out of this situation alone.

Jiho took the hand and helped himself up, though he immediately stumbled, his weight ending up heavy against the stranger's side.

"I was heading to the pharmacy down the block... I don't have medicine at home."
