Glimwood Tangle is a small forest in the western part of the region. This forest is filled with so many large trees that there is a perpetual darkness beneath the canopy. However, the natural paths can be illuminated by tapping the bioluminescent green and pink mushrooms that adorn the forest. This can occasionally attract pokemon though, so trainers should be wary.

✧✧【Soaring over the northern parts of the Wild Area, Eveline had the chance to get a good look at Hammerlocke as they passed it by. Shame that hadn’t been one of the destinations listed in the flyer to find Wishing Stars, though she supposed she’d have time enough to explore the city on her own terms once they got there. She noted, with a hint of amusement, that between the large decorative entrance and the giant platforms stretching out on either side of the giant castle-like structure in the center it looked like a flying dragon. Fitting, as Hammerlocke was said to be the city of dragons, and the gym leader also happened to specialize in Dragon types as well… In any case, however, they flew past the huge walled city, over the small town of Stow-on-Side cozily tucked away in the mountainside, and towards the enormous forest that lay to the east. The canopy was so thick and overgrown that Jaffa couldn’t even reasonably try to land in the forest itself, instead settling for landing at the entrance just outside of Stow-on-Side. Not the most convenient means of being able to get in and out, but Eveline supposed the place was called Glimwood Tangle for good reason…】✧✧

✧✧【With Jaffa following carefully behind her, Eveline entered the incredibly dark forest, the overgrown canopy thick enough to let in virtually no sunlight at all. Her first thought was to get out the flashlight she’d gotten from Zane, though was pleasantly surprised that wouldn’t be a necessity when she saw the faint glow of many large, bioluminescent mushrooms lining the forest path. Still, with this place being as big as it was and mostly dark save for what limited light the mushrooms provided it wouldn’t be easy to find a Wishing Star here… ”Come on out, you two. I’ll need some extra eyes to search this place,” she commanded as she sent out Gin and Tonic, knowing they would be able to get the job done well enough between the two of them.
”Oh HELL no. This place is already even worse than the damn Sleepin’ Whatchamacallit,”the Torracat grumbled as she looked around, already less than pleased with the idea of having to search this place top to bottom. Gin, however, was hardly even phased as he was already purposefully trekking on ahead at a brisk pace, his gold eyes glistening in the faint glow of the teal-colored mushrooms as he looked through the trees for any sign of that characteristic red glow. Behind him he could hear the rushed footsteps of his Torracat partner hurrying to catch up, accompanied by a shout of”Slow down, ya jackass!”The Luxray strongly considered picking up his pace instead just for that, but the logical part of him knew that it wouldn’t be the best idea to split up and possibly get lost in a place like this. They wouldn’t stand much of a chance against the Pokemon here if they happened to get jumped, and it’d be best to stick together in that case. Sighing in annoyance, he slowed down his own pace as his partner had oh so ‘politely’ requested, ignoring the glare she shot his way as she fell in step next to him.】✧✧

The Impidimp looked over at the pair as if it had just now noticed them, appearing to consider for a moment before a devious look crossed its face. Sticking its black tongue out at the Torracat, the little pink imp giggled gleefully before turning tail and taking off into the forest, its ‘prize’ firmly clutched in its hands.”Wha-?! Rrrgh… Little s**t! Get back here!”Before Gin could even stop her, the Torracat was already storming past him in a rage as she chased after the thief to get the star back. ✧✧【Gin pushed his way through the forest as he hurried after his angered companion, the Torracat rampaging through the forest on the trail of the Impidimp that had snatched up the star they’d found. Tonic, on the other hand, was having a bit of a tough time as she tried to stay on the heels of her target. Being a native of this forest, the little pink demon used any obstacles to its advantage, ducking under tree roots, weaving around bushes, and sliding under the large mushrooms to try to throw them off its trail as much as possible. Still, Tonic didn’t once let up in her pursuit, and to her delight the Impidimp ended up losing its footing when it tripped over a loose fallen branch, the star flying out of its hands and skittering a few feet away.”Aha! Gotcha ya slippery lil’ snake,”she snarled, taking the opportunity to pounce on the little imp as it tried to get up and pinning it firmly to the ground.
Gin followed only seconds after, seeing Tonic now had the perpetrator pinned and the star now free for the taking. The Luxray walked past to collect their prize, looking back at his Torracat partner as she grinned devilishly down at the little thief.”Let it go. We already got what we came for and there’s no need for any unnecessary torture,”he said sharply, not wanting to draw the ire of more Pokemon that could potentially mean a lot of trouble for them. The Torracat glared back at him, opening her mouth to protest before realizing that the Pokemon around here probably weren’t the kind they should be messing around with so recklessly. At least not now…”Ugh… Spoilsport,”she growled, releasing the Impidimp from underneath her claws as she glared warning daggers at it,”Aight, now shoo.
