Monster by Disturbed hits the PA as the lights dim down and a red light covers the arena.
End this suffering
You made a monster of me
Through all your wicked lies
Forever tortured by you
Abandoned at death's door

Erasing now
a circle of fire springs up in the center of the stage, with Marcus crouching in it. As he stands, the flames die out and he looks out over the arena
"Making his way to the ring, from St. Louis, Missouri, weighing in at 285 pounds, Marcus Damone!"
Marcus begins to head down the ramp, his eyes focused on the squared circle. Reaching the ringside area, Marcus steps up onto the apron and into the ring through the ropes. He hits the ropes, warming up a bit as the lights return to normal and eventually the music dies out

The arena lights dim and a spotlight shines on the arena entrance as Weak Aside by Bloodbath blasts out of the arena speakers.
♫We're born to reign as masters
To ashes we'll burn the pastures
Repell their ways back to nothingness♫
Loud boos are heard from the crowd as Cartwright enters the arena wearing a black robe which shines in the light thanks to the red sequins that are all over it. Cartwright basks in the spotlight, looking towards the fans and embracing the jeers before he begins to make his way down the ramp and towards the ring.
♫Chaos in symmetry
This glorious victory
In darkness only we can see♫
Unknown Announcer: "Coming to the ring at this time, from London, ENGLAND and weighting-in at 225 lbs. Wearing black, he is one of the most recognised stars in the history of professional wrestling. He is the self-proclaimed Extraordinary Englishman. Representing The Ferocious Four.....he is the GWA Heavyweight Champion of the World........CAAAARTWRIIIIGHT!"
♫Transcend with rage of the elite
The new order come to rise and shine
Write new history as we wipe and delete
An urge to rid this world of human waste
Weak aside♫
Cartwright steps up the steel steps and enters the ring through the ropes. Cartwright stands in the center of the ring posing, his arms out to his sides and hands open with his eyes closed as he listens to the surrounding fans. Cartwright removes his entrance robe to reveal his black wrestling tights and boots.

The big matches keep coming for Marcus. This will be his first personal encounter with Cartwright, and he has an even bigger match for Starrcade. First thing's first, time to put the world champion down. Not in a rush, he watches the champion, waiting to see how he'll move

Cartwright no-sells the fact that he is going up against the most powerful member of The Damone Family, giving his opponent a smug look before the bell rings. The champion has dealt with bigger and stronger opponents throughout his career. He has also dealt with The Damones on numerous occasions throughout that same career, so Marcus can only dream of being able to imagine the uphill battle that he is up against!
Cartwright begins to confidently mouth-off at Marcus, telling him that he will be defeated by The Beeeest tonight....just like he defeated Andre Damone.

Marcus doesn't like to talk. He likes to fight. As such, he looks to suddenly reach forward and grab Cartwright by the throat with both hands, then toss him against the turnbuckle

GUH! Hands around the throat make it hard to keep the trash talk flowing. Cartwright is soon launched back-first into the turnbuckle, which drops the champion to his knees as he holds his lower back with both hands.

Time to show the champion exactly what he's in for and he should be used to it. Marcus follows after Cartwright and lets him up only to throw a stiff right hand at the side of his head

Marcus bounces Cartwright into the ropes with his blow to the head, which starts to upset the champion as he scarpers through the ropes and to the outside.
Cartwright: "Ow! I change my mind! I'm not ready yet!"

Sucks to be the champion because Marcus isn't letting up. He slides out after him amused at the fact that Cartwright is on the run, and looks to clock him in the jaw

Marcus chooses to go after Cartwright, who is waiting outside the ring. The Lad allows Marcus to slide out of the ring and land on his feet, so that he can try to Shotgun Dropkick the big man into the ring apron!

the dropkick connects, sending Marcus spine first into the apron, which he leans against to remain standing though slightly doubled over

Wow, maybe Cartwright was ready after all from watching that display! The Lad uses this chance to try and send Marcus head first into the steel barricade!

led towards the barricade, Marcus' face slams against it, and he bounces back, still standing but perhaps slightly dazed at this point

Cartwright looks at his dazed opponent and begins to get ideas. Sliding back into the ring, The Lad rebounds off the ropes as aims to crash into Marcus, flying over the top rope for a swanton!
