Before you can enter the village, you have to have at least one post at the entrance gates. The gates have 2 chunin at guarding everyday.

Thankfully his free time permitted the Matarashi member to actually do a bit of travelling through the Land of Fire. He had in mind to set a visit to drop off some supplies to the Medical Unit of Konoha and to simply relax. It was more assuring for himself knowing he had someone he highly respected that lives among this land as well. Someone Ryuzu can say for a period of time, grew up with. With not much currently happening in regards to missions or politics, he'd like to take a moment or two to actually get away and relax and handle personal matters.

Surgery after surgery is what Hisagi had to deal with since early this morning. Becoming head doctor of the leaf hospital wasn’t something he still truly grasped as he job yet. Besides being a shinobi that is. Hisagi escaped the hospital the moment his schedule cleared up. Needing to get out for some fresh air; as well as needing to go out for some ingredients. Freshly picked herbs seemed to work the best for medicines in his opinion. The Sarutobi known as The Scholar in Konoha walked back toward the main gates. Stopping in his tracks seeing a familiar person. One he hasn’t seen in quit some time. ”Ryuzu? Is that you?” Hisagi called out looking to the taller male standing before him. Hisagi’s voice was soft as it had an aura of an elderly person. In which he wasn’t. Seeing how he was only in his early twenties. Walking closer to get a better view of the person before him, Hisagi wore a radiant smile. ”Ryuzu it is you! What brings you here? Are you well?~” Hisagi asked as he walked closer to him. Inspecting his body for injury or something. Making sure he didn’t need to give medical attention to his old friend. Hisagi hands were holding a basket full of various herbs and plants.

Ryuzu's hand went up in a short waving motion, acknowledging Hisagi as he called out to him. "Hello Hisagi. It's good to see you again, I hope you're well." His eyes briefly scanned the basket full of herbs and plants that were firm in between his arms then, back to Hisagi's face. "I managed to find some free time in between missions and political affairs. Also it is about that time of the month I drop off some of my medicinal research in regards to poisons and other toxins. So timing was pretty convenient. I see that you're still on the move with your medicinal work as usual. Do they ever give you a break?" Ever since he knew Hisagi, he's always been attempting some new concoction of some sort. It was quite inspiring that he never fell to the art of laziness or complacency that others normally would.

_The medical nin smiled in relief seeing his friend was not injured and needed assistance. Holding the basket closely to his chest, Hisagi's head tilted to Ryuzu."Being Amegakure's appointed Jonin Commander or not, are you getting enough rest? Or do I have to take time out of my schedule to visit and make sure you do?" Hisagi slightly sneered to Ryuzu. But his sneering was quickly followed by a friendly smile and giggle. "Well, ever since the tensions of Konoha and Kiri, the hokage moved me to a head doctor position. For the past few months I've been swamped with surgeries, reforming the training material, keeping up with my own training and studies......the list goes on"Hisagi said as a stream of voices called out to him. The sarutobi sighed and rolled his eyes. Three nurses rushing over to him. In that moment Hisagi pushed the basket in one of their arms. "Amegakure's Jonin Commander is requesting my presence. My schedule has to be cleared now. Take these to my office, my assistant will know what to do with them all" Hisagi quickly dismissed the nurses rushing for his attention. The nurses all gave a respectful bow to Ryuzu before turning and running off. Hisagi's hand was waving them off. Giving a small sigh once they were through the gates and back to rushing to the hospital.
_Turning back to Ryuzu. Hisagi gave a warm smile. "For someone who didn't complete his medical training, you sure do keep up with a few things. I'm not sure if it's out of boredom? Or if it's your natural instinct as a shinobi" Hisagi teased the jonin commander standing beside him. Then it had finally hit him. Hisagi trained alongside Ryuzu years ago. Hisagi seemed to take to medical jutsu better. The sarutobi even learned a jutsu that Ryuzu would for sure find useful. "Zu-Zu~, As an old friend, I demand you take a little extra time on your visit today. There's a jutsu I'm sure you would love to learn" Hisagi smiled innocently as he used his old friends nickname. Crossing his arms, Hisagi nodded his head and smiled. "With you now being a Jonin Commander, and your medical knowledge? I'm positive you'll learn this in no time~ I'll even summon Baku. He's been asking about you as well"
Hisagi smiled looking back to his friend. Shifting how he stood, causing his heeled shinobi sandals to click against the ground.
"Trying to flip the script on me are you?" Ryuzu let out a soft laugh. "I am getting my rest whenever I can, though I wouldn't stop you if you decide to visit." For such a busy body, he's always found a way to look out for others. Quite inspiring to say the least. Ryuzu hadn't quite notice the nurses who appeared suddenly wishing to bask in the moment of being around Hisagi only to unfortunately be dismissed due to Ryuzu taking the attention. His eyes grew wide out of the sudden interaction. "It seems some things haven't changed. If I hadn't known any better, those three could be the mothers of your children by now..."
He noted that Ryuzu managed to keep up with things going on in the field. Well of course he had too, back then when he first started out, Ryuzu didn't think much about medical ninjutsu. It wasn't even a thought in his mind until he actually opened his mind to learning at least a little. Not only that, it was through medical ninjutsu where one of his few signature techniques was even founded. He joked with Hisagi about this though when it mentioned if it was out of pure boredom or natural instincts. "Or maybe I have to keep up with the prowess like yours hahaha. There are just many things for someone to know, the more knowledge I can obtain, the more formidable I can become and the more likely I can survive in the world we live in. I just decide not to settle I suppose." Somehow this must've inspired Hisagi into a quick thought and the notion of learning a technique that Ryuzu could make use of. A one that even Hisagi was willing to spare caught Ryuzu's interest for sure. His eyebrow raised as his body shifted to a more curious posture. "Is that right? Well I'm sure I wouldn't be summoned back so early. Do tell about this technique."

_Hisagi only rolled his eyes as Ryuzu made the comment of the nurses being the mother of his children. A small scoff of disinterest escaped his lips. "But they're lacking the proper anatomy to even have the slightest chance to parent children with me, Zu-Zu" Hisagi said a bit snarkily only to finish with a small laugh. A small hum emitted from him as he was lost in thought for a small moment. Something he typically did. No matter what the scenario was. "When it comes to academics? Of course you wouldn't stand a chance against me. Would be close. But no. But if we were speaking of combat? You take the win for sure. I would have my moment but that avenue is all you, Jonin Commander" The sarutobi teased as he nudged Ryuzu's arm with his elbow a tiny bit. The konoha jonin gave a small laugh a bit. Starting to walk into konoha. Motioning for Ryuzu to follow him. Walking further towards the entry gates of the village.
_"When I finished this jutsu, I completely thought of you. It's right up your alley. I'm escorting Jonin Commander Ryuzu Matarashi, all is well" Hisagi said as he lead the way into the village. Stopping and informing the guarding chunin what was happening. Nodding to them as they respectfully bowed to the two higher ranking shinobi. Hisagi sighed as he started to lead the way again. "Come with me to the training grounds, I will explain everything once we're there. Yes I'm making you wait. I wonder if you can be as impatient as you used to be while you're back in Amegakure now" Hisagi poked fun to his old friend one last time. Leading him inside of Konoha. Only to flicker step to make the travel quicker. Only difference from back then to now; Hisagi's flicker step resembled a plethora of sakura blossoms scattering into the wind. The sakura blossoms joining together and zooming towards the training area.
The Sinister Viper shook his head as he attempted to hold in his laughter from Sarutobi's comment. He could have any of those women but make slight remarks about them instead. Quite a sight to behold and entertaining too. He followed his friend who motioned to follow him as he continued to listen about where they would fare against one another. In academics it wouldn't be a contest. Hisagi is quite the intelligent individual. Combat, perhaps he would win against Hisagi, though he never really gave much thought about it.
Nodding his head to the guard who allowed him to enter the village, he just listened to the jutsu that Hisagi apparently thought would be extremely useful for Ryuzu, but he'll learn more about it at the training grounds. "To the training grounds then. I'll be patient haha."
