█ PRIMARY WEAPON
█ ▬ Reinigen [Cleanse]
A finely crafted longsword made from tungsten. The presence and capability of this blade was made famous by Eteria's own skill with dust usage, often being treated as an icon for young huntsmen to follow. It has no known transformation capabilities in the blade itself, but the scabbard is capable of expanding into a resilient shield. When combined, Eteria is capable of forming the weapon known as 'Retribution,' capable of utilizing both offensive and defensive capabilities to their fullest, at the sacrifice of being unable to separate her weapons for a brief period of time. The design in both aspects of the weapon have been rigged with a highly advanced dust channeling mechanism within the edge of the blade, down to the very hilt of the handle. This unique mechanic carries into the scabbard as well. The dust channeling effect follows as an ability to alter the course of existing dust channeling, from either an enhanced weapon or dust based bullet. So long as the object in question is channeling dust, if it comes into contact with either method of the weapon, the dust channeling effect will instead continue into the weapon itself. This allows her to store the dust effect for up to 5 posts, also allowing her to store up to 8 different effects at any given time. The dust effects will fade after 5 active posts from channeling unless properly stored. This is signified by 8 circular patterns that line either the side of the blade or the scabbard itself, each glowing with the color of the stored dust effect. Between the two variations of the weapon, only 8 effects may be stored at any given time, but remain only channeled between the individual weapons unless Reinigen is sheathed. If Reinigen is sheathed, the channeled dust will remain contained until her weapon is drawn again, from which point the post count will tick down. She may selectively use the stored dust, or utilize all at once in a powerful elemental surge.
A secondary effect that this unique channeling method has is a manner of negation. Whether it is utilizing preexisting channeled dust, or applying Eteria's own dust, Reinigen may act as a conduit for dust negation from dust enhanced weapons and abilities by utilizing the same dust in question. Fire negates fire, ice negates ice.
█ Execution ▬ Execution is Eteria's primary manner of offense. It is this state that most often utilizes any dust channeling for combatic purposes, utilizing her own skill as a swordwoman to execute impressive blows and utilizing her dust enhancements to the fullest. Execution may be used in hand with Protection at the sacrifice of utilizing her steady hand for full strength in precision blows.
█ Protection ▬ Protection is Eteria's primary manner of defense. In terms of a scabbard for the width of her sword, it is oddly large due to the nature of its functionality. By drawing her scabbard from her back, she'll grasp the handle in order to unfold and expand the reinforced metal into slim, 3 foot wide shield capable of withstanding mighty blows. It is most often utilizes to either parry physical blows or absorb oncoming assaults that are infused with dust, triggering its natural channeling capabilities in order to fuel her dust infusion methods. It is also commonly used in the act of dust negation. Protection may be used in hand with Execution at the cost of being able to withstand more powerful blows that require her to properly maintain the shield. The edges of her shield are noticeably sharp like that of a blade, making handling very dangerous even for the user.
