It was a pretty stagnant year, right? At least at the start, a lot of people started dipping and leaving, and guilds closing down.
And there was always that lingering feeling...

Is this the year the community was going to die?
And well, it didn't.

Between the vast amount of returns this year between Kody, Three, Warner, X-factor, Claire, Tim, Dion...
Matt, King, Draze, Hiro showing up and putting on stellar performances
Even Dally coming out from the shadows

Cart, Brad, Mira, Lauri, Phoenixfire, Cyrus, showing why they're absolutely top-notch in what they do


I think that's pretty awesome, and well as a guild owner that gets to see all of that talent, all of those returns, and be able to book it
...

Despite opinions on what's on TV wrestling wise, the written word and the storylines that we as a collective community...
Is just well, kind of makes me feel spoiled that I get to see all of it.

I appreciate you mentioning me even if I ended up disappearing. I hit a snag because King and I didn't find the groove I was hoping for and it just carried into my trying to work with Lauri, so I ended up not being able to maintain things I wanted to. I ended up getting a job that pertained to writing too not too long after things started picking up in EWA, so my outlet for writing starting to get taken over and I knew I'd need time to figure out how to be good with writing again before I could think about really coming back.

I hope 2020 continues the tradition of this place staying alive longer than anyone expect and that I can hopefully have another good match or two as well. I guess the important thing is to find a happy medium of opponents who bring the best out of you and knowing you're capable of putting on a good show, and I'm sure in the next year I'll be able to find that.
