Appearance: Siv is... TALL, frightening looking, and muscular. She's tan to pale depending on where work takes her, with green eyes and wasged out gold blonde hair, a wide chin, and almost masculine features. Aside tall and muscular from toting tech, Siv is large boned and often wears leather pants dyed red to match red vests over white shirts, with copper-coloured trimmings. Her blonde locks are shoulder length, and shaggily layered, affording a slight wild look. She's actually usually seen with a smile and klah in hand, ready to talk SCIENCE or DRAGONS
Personality: Positives: Analytical, Hard Working, Sees good in everyone, Friendly

A hard working sort, Siv has a love for sciences like basic technologies to use around Pern and Fort, to the way animals live, and more. A scientist by Earth's standard, Siv focuses on anything she can get her fingers on much like her family and will readily devote hours to careful study and mastery, parsing information to glean everything from it of use, and sees her long candidacy as a research opportunity. Siv sees Standing as a chance to learn about dragons -- how do they choose? Why do they choose, and what caused the plague? In fact the plague has led to keener interest in dragon health and in Siv's mind that means studying dragons up close. Should she impress, she'd be delighted, should she not, she'd met many good dragons she will save and will fight the plague for. Science however, is not all Siv is even if it eats her. Siv sees good and worth in everyone, even some pretty deplorable people, and believes a king word and friendly hand can turn lives to the greater good -- sure she'll trip up, but the woman is keen to see good in everyone and does her best to help them. Similarly, Siv is a kind of friendly soul, always greeting everyone with a smile and offer to sip her klah. Everyone deserves a smile, a helping hand, someone to shoot the breeze with, and Siv is one of those whom reaches out to the world with a smile and says gu.

Flaws: Arrogant, Hardheaded, Hyperfocuses, Ruthless

Siv is a nice gal but she's full of herself. Arrogant to a fault, it's never 'if' or 'when' except maybe regarding Impression -- she WILL save dragonkind, she WILL invent a better wheel, and why? Because she's Fanoth-damned Siv, that's bnloody why. She feels herself invincible, indestructable, untouchable in terms of skill bar family, and doesn't listen to reason, only data. Similarly, when you try to talk her down? HA! She's too bloody hard headed to listen or change course easily. It takes work and care to win her over to pierce her noggin and once you do, you're in. Otherwise, she doesn't care, she's doing the thing and thank you for being a dimglow. Once working, Siv will also... Focus. Too much. To the exclusion of most else. Dragons hatching? Notes time piss off conversation. Chores? WORKING, SORRY. If she's focused, she tunes most of the world out and can sit hours to if allowed, days working on things until satisfied, and even then a little more for good measure, to the point she's friendly, with few friends, because she keeps forgetting threm.

Or maybe it's how nasty she can be. Threaten family, and threaten loved ones, and that's it. You're over. Siv will find a way to come for thee and not stop until she's a winner, despite any persnal cost.All that focus and will turns on a single person,and Siv cannot be stopped until her will be done, consequences be damned.

History:
- SIV IS BORN.
- Siv's mother passes inchildbirth, leaving Siv to be raised by a single father.
- Siv discovers Science! in the weyr as a child just nosing and asking questions, and starts learning how things work.
- Siv takes a wagon apart and works out how runnerbeasts pull it.
- Siv continues studying things and begins watching local animals, esp. Firelizards.
- Siv is offered Candidacy, being a Weyrbrat, and accepts. For reasons totally including DRAGON SCIENCE.
- The plague breaks out a year after Siv is candidate.
- Siv swears to cure the plague to save the North and begins focusing study during hatchings, taking notes on how births and deaths occur and the like.
