There had always been something about being surrounded by trees and having dirt underneath his paws that made him feel alive. The place he calls his home is nothing like the wild flora, soft dirt, and unpredictability of the forest path he walks. There was always something going on in the forest: things hiding, animals living their own lives, and sometimes Zuri can even meet someone if he's lucky enough.
He certainly feels like he may have hit a jackpot today.
He spotted movement when he came across The Hollow, just a blip of a warm brown and a stark white from a crack in the large trunk. When he had approached the entrance to get a better look, he was expecting a raccoon doing some foraging, not the lovely she-wolf before him. He eyed her as she went about her business, collecting flowers from some vines in the trunk seems to be the goal for today, and he quickly realizes she's not just a wolf. She's a wolf-dog like himself, and better yet she was beautiful too. It made him want to talk to her, or something even better: spook her.
He moved as quietly as he could manage into the trunk and closer to the lady infront of him. Zuri kept his steps light and breathing soft, eventually ending up close behind her. He grinned causing his teeth to show some but non threateningly, it was crooked and charming not intimidating: showing a look of complete confidence definitely crossing the boarder to cockiness.
In a voice reflecting his apparence: he spoke loudly projecting his voice to her though he was so close, " Beautiful flowers aren't they? Frankly not as beautiful as they lady who picks them though."
