After powering up the first time, Buzzi had a few outings to test out his powers. A fight here, a tussle there. Playing damsel in distress once... But all in all, he still wasn't all too familiar with how things worked.
Arthur had been nice and all, but there was just... He didn't know, a desire a have an actual field lesson without feeling like he was going to die because he was too focused on a cat nearby. Not that Arthur was a horrible partner to have around! He just didn't have that... Je ne sais quoi the newbie senshi was looking for.
Like hands all the time. And powers like himself.
So they talked about it, and agreed that a tutor of sorts was needed, and the Mauvian had one in mind! Someone who regularly sent out messages for training and appeared to be aleast somewhat in the same age range, which was excellent for Buzzi since he was incredibly unlikely to listen to any old fogy trying to teach him something new.
The decision was to meet up near the school where Buzzi awakened sometime later that week, and once Buzzi arrived, he had no hesitation on immediately scooping up the waiting Arthur and petting him in the most gentle (and potential evil) way possible.
"So when is this dude supposed to arrive? I'm starving... Want to get some Tacos again after this? Oooh, or maybe a burger this time."

Arthur twisted and pawed out at Buzzi but did not draw his claws or bite, equally playful but otherwise happy for any attention. Manhandling in any form was often fun.
"He should be here soon. He had a way to run to get here." He said, trying to keep himself from purring and failing.
"I'd love a burger!" He said, finding that Buzzi's quick adoption of spoiling him with his company was wonderful. Even moreso, he had yet to tell either of them of his latest find of a emblem that made his humanoid form no longer a liability for anyone. This he wanted to keep to himself and surprise them.

Nix was very glad to get a message from Arthur asking him to come meet a new Senshi, get rolling with some training. Naturally, he was happy to do that, and so was jumping his way on over, building to building as he went. Occasionally some unnecessary flourishes because...why not, right? Eventually, though, he arrived at their agreed meeting place, where he spotted a senshi... He grinned when he realized it was the one he'd forgotten to properly introduce himself to. Perfect chance. "Hey guys!" he said with a wave as he landed with a thump. "Good to see ya, Arthur!" He then thumped his chest and said, "The name's Nix!" before offering his hand to shake.

Arthur was pretty darned cute, Buzzi thought to himself. And the whole bonus of the cat being smarter than your typical Earth cat and knowing not to scratch him was a big bonus. A HUGE bonus. And the purring? Very cute too.
AND HE COULD EAT BURGERS!
Talking to the Mauvian more and more made him wish he had his own perma-mauvian friend who would come and hang out with him. But that wasn't the point.
Tonight's point was finding a trainer, and that very one seemed to hop down out of nowhere and just... Suddenly show up like some weird Acrobat and land with a thud. And out of nowhere Buzzi's face turned red.
"Y.. You!! It's you!!" He was loud, and wanted to point at the other senshi, but with his hands full of Arthur, he could only squeeze the cat tighter against him. "Wha... What are you doing here?! Not that I mind but, you just vanished on me like it was nothing! Arthur, this is the senshi you invited?!"
Despite his loudness and panic, Buzzi tried to calm himself down, knowing that embarrassing himself in front of Nix was the last thing he wanted.
"I'm Buzzi! You should have introduced yourself the last time I saw you! I'd shake your hand, but I got a cat." To emphasis, he shifted Arthur around and held him out for Nix to see. "So.. You know this dude, Arthur?"

Arthur was instantly alarmed by the sudden volume in which Buzzi shouted and made him tense and dig his claws out a moment out of instinct. Looking up, he tried to see what was the matter and saw the red color in Buzzi's face. The thing was that he could be flushed for many reasons and Arthur couldn't figure out which. What he could feel was that the senshi was holding him a bit too tight but luckily noticed and loosened his grip again.
From what he heard, Buzzi didn't hate him because he didn't mind him being here. And yet he was still flushed. If soap operas taught him anything, it had to be scandalous. What fun. Two young men up to no good.
Smiling, he was held out and let most of his body hang as he waved a paw at Nix. "Yup. Nix and I talk and work together pretty regularly. Now how do you know him?" He purred. "Did you two kiss or something? Nix you devil you. I knew you had it in you."

Nix was a bit surprised by the loudness of the reaction, but not upset or anything. “Yeah, uh, sorry bout that!” He said, putting his hand back down. He’d considered giving Arthur a pat on the head, and his hand had turned to do that, but then he put it back down. “Nice to properly meet ya, Buzzi,” he said, grinning. “I was in a bit of a rush that night. I don’t usually, you know, dust and run.” He shook his head. Arthur’s remark caught him a bit off guard, and his eyes got wide before he quickly shook his head. “No, no, nothing like that! I helped him with a bit of a Youma problem, that’s all.” That he did it via scooping the other senshi up and carrying him away was entirely beside the point. It’s just what was most expedient.

Buzzi stood there, his face only getting redder as Arthur congratulated Nix.
"You weirdo cat, talking about people kissing..." It was muttered, and he had half a mind to drop the Mauvian, but then he wouldn't know what to do with his hands, so instead put his arm in place to support his hind legs again and hoisted him up properly.
"It's like he said, I took down a whole horde of youma, and I got tired and he came and finished off the last one. That's all! Though uh... It did end kinda strangely, running off like that. I'm really happy to see you again, I didn't think I would." Destiny City was huge after all... He could likely go a lifetime without encountering the same person twice.
Yet here he was, blushing and smiling like an idiot at the boy who had saved him before. What a strange world they lived in.
"But anyways.. Something Something about training, right?'"

"What's weird about talking about that?" He said, curling up as he was now more comfortably held instead of letting his long, lank body dangle there.
"I'm glad you two have met before then. Should make this all even easier. And Buzzi, congrats on fighting a youma. That is a big step from just being awakened so shortly. But be careful. You wouldn't want your starseed taken. I don't want to loose you, alright?" He said, rubbing his face against his arm for a moment to emphasize his point.
"Now then, yes, we should train. I'd love to see what you've learned from all your Youma training, Buzzi." Arthur smiled back at Nix. "And thank you for helping. It's nice to see you again. "

“Always happy to help!” Nix said with a grin, apparently oblivious to the reddening of Buzzi’s face. “Anyway, yeah! Training.” He nodded. “I always like to start off by figuring out what you know how to do,” he said lightly, “So...you know any martial arts, dance, or gymnastics type stuff? All of it’s a pretty good starting point, but if you don’t know any, that’s okay, we can work on it.” “As Arthur has been learning,” he added with a smile. “Make any progress on figuring out how to power up more, by the way?”

"Hush you." Buzzi wasn't about to keep entertaining Arthur about his personal business! His face was still plenty red from all of that.
Moving on, he nodded about the whole learning thing and enjoyed the praise about doing well. Hell yeah he did well! He was Buzzi after all, as awesome powered up as he was powered down!
"I can scrap, if that helps. At school I used to get into fights sometimes, so I can do that, but nothing real official. I did bite the hell out of Arthur though. NOT with my real mouth and teeth but my magical bug mouth... thing." The official term for the bug mouth was on the tip of his tongue, but he really didn't want to make Nix feel stupid for not knowing the official term. People didn't like that, right? Being corrected on something they already knew.
"My sphere thing is Flies. Horse flies. Them big ugly bugs that like to suck blood."

He smiled back. "Learning as best I can with your guidance. Soon I might very well be useful along a patrol." But for now he was strictly only useful as far as a listening ear and a technical Mauvian could be.
Curled in Buzzi's arms, he was pleased to see them kicking it off and was pleased that they could hopefully be good friends. Duty served, he only grumbled at being bitten. "Of all the ways a man biting another could go, it wasn't the most fun scenario. His power is impressive though. Wipes you out. Was light-headed after."
Wiggling in the hold, he moved down as he was sure the two of them would start training and that couldn't be done with a cat in his arms.
"Also, you shouldn't fight in school Buzzi." He commented on a very dad tone. "If you get grounded, you won't enjoy being out with us."

Nix considered thoughtfully. “Well, scrapping is a good start, anyway,” he said. “And he did say used to, Arthur. I’m sure it’s fine.” “Flies and Frogs, heh. Good combination,” he remarked, nodding. “Best way to learn is through doing, I think...” “So!” He jumped back and assumed a fighting stance. “Show me whatcha got! C’mon and hit me!” He declared. “I can take it...and we can work on your form from there.”

Buzzi wasn’t sure at all how much he liked the weird kinda talk that was going on about his attack, but either way, it looked like he had no choice now. They were going to spar and.... Well, He wasn’t quite done having his fan boy moment, so he froze up when Arthur jumped from his arms and no longer worked as a barrier between him and this cool frog senshi...
“You... Uh.... You think?” Somehow the implication of them being a good combination made his face blare up more, his voice cracking in it’s flustered state.
Dumb being a kid, dumb hormones he thought to himself, and quickly shook his head. No. He had a job here, and it was to kick but, not deal with weird feelings and stomach flips.
“You really want to fight me? I’m pretty certain you’re so tough you’d just wipe the floor with me. I mean, you picked me up and protected me like it was nothing... Which uh, it was really cool and thanks again for that, but even then you just kicked a**... I may be awesome, but you are more so... You know..?” Buzzi was rambling, and he knew it, cheeks flushed and words spewing out like absolute nonsense.
But the point came across... Right? Fighting still felt like a bad idea.
“I could... Like.. Bite you or something...?”

Now that the spar was starting, Arthur was pretty much there as only support. Leaving the men at it, he found a nice spot on the grass and shifted back to humanoid form. Thanks to the emblem, this no longer created any issues and so he reached I to his space pocket and pulled out a blanket to sit on. Once settled, he pulled out his thermos of coffee and his cat mug and poured himself a cup.
From here, he could hear them but gave them enough space to kick, jump, and throw whatever attacks without him getting in the way. And so, with his own tablet, he checked some things on the Mauvian database, humming to himself as he enjoyed his cup of joe.
Tolin Kalin They can spar back and forth for a bit if you two want to do that as Arthur is just chilling.

“Well, yeah, of course,” Nix replied, grinning. “Frogs eat flies, you know!” He snickered. “But yeah, I wanna fight you...sort of.” He made a Kung fu sort of ‘come at me’ gesture. “I won’t beat you into the ground or anything. I just wanna know how you fight!” The mention of biting made him blink a couple times. “Er, bite? Oh! Your senshi magic, right? Sure, you can give that a try too,” he nodded. “Though, sounds like yours isn’t too hard to figure out how to use in a fight, huh?”
