You notice a black cat with what looks to be some kind of marking on its forehead, which in Destiny City is not an uncommon occurrence. It appears to be opening its mouth as though speaking, though no sounds come out. The cat entices you to follow it both by its silence and strange energy signature, and you don’t quite seem to be going anywhere in particular, but you feel compelled to see where this journey will end. As the small creature gets to a shadow filled area, it turns and gives a final audible meow before seeming to melt into the shadows. All searching yields no results the cat is simply not there…perhaps this wasn’t such a normal occurrence after all!
The semester was rough, and Vivi was tired, but she couldnt give in now. She was headed from home to the library, papers in one hand, and laptop and tablet in her bag, prepared for hours of research into radio frequencies and their long, historic uses in war times, when she saw a cat. It wasn't the regular ones though, but a mauvian, at least, it looked that way, it had the little mark after all. She stopped, heading towards the cat at the lip of the alley. "Hey there! Is there some trouble? I really shouldn't stop for it but i must know if it's a youma, or maybe a negaverse agent, or maybe the sailor scouts with dark clothing." She babbled, the cat's face remaining blank, though it did open it's mouth, as if agreeing with her, though no words came out. She thought nothing of it, but to get more excited. Maybe something stole it's voice! Oh boy, forget school, this was about top be her entire night! It saw she was definitely going to follow it, and ran into the alley, seemingly merging with the forming shadows. Vivi followed, transforming once she entered the alley. she had to to be prepared after all. What she wasn't prepared for was realizing the vaguse sense that this was a mauvian increased, except it seemed to spike and warble, almost distort in ways she couldn't comprehend. Sweet! The cat was messed up too! She excitedly followed it for what seemed like hours, until it made a turn into what turned out to be an alley end, with a very high wall that even a cat couldn't jump. though this one seemed to have. "Damn! Kitty! Come out!" She called, looking around desperately. She really wanted to know what was up! She attempted to scale the wall herself, though in her pages boots that was...hard. She tried to use the fur stol as a rope, but that also failed, and as it did the strange energy signature the cat had faded until nothing was left, at least there. She turned, almost leaving the alley until she swore she saw the cat again, and proceeded to chase it in the other section of the alley, this time there was no other way the cat could go, as this part wouldn end abruptly sooin. And sure enough, they were reaching the end, which was already covered in the shadows of the evening. She cheered to herself, thinking the cat would surely stop, it would have to, but as it hit the end of the alleyway it simply....melted into the shadows, its signature fading just as abruptly, and this time it seemed for good. She stopped herself before she could collide with the brick wall, but pressed at it angrily until she sighed, defeated. It seemed the cat was gone, and with it what ever mysterious thing it had to offer. She turned back, exiting the alley and assuming her civilian form once more, disheartened she wasn't going to have a cool adventure that night,
