Natron exhaled. Here was the spot he'd asked Kerberos to meet them; there was, at least, a bench to sit on so they could wait. He set Des down first, then sat next to him, reaching over to idly brush his fingers throguh Des's hair.
"Well, here it is. Now...we just have to wait, I guess." After all, Kerberos could have been anywhere, and he didn't exactly have instant transmission the way they did.Kerberos had come running as soon as he got the text. It had been a stroke of luck, really, that led him to Airi on the way, and it had taken a little doing, but he'd convinced the youma to come with him.
He ducked into the park, following the crawling of a General's aura, and inhaled tensely when he got there. Natron...with a civilian?
He hovered, briefly, and looked around.
"This isn't some sort of trap, is it?"

Ugh.
He hated teleportation. The way it made his stomach flip was unnatural. "That s**t is ten times worse when you have no energy." Des gasped in between dry heaving. He almost hadn't noticed the fingers slipping into his hair. He grimaced, wiping the back of his hand over his mouth. "Don't. My hair's gross." He groaned. It had gotten longer, constantly in the way.
"What about our stuff? Arsenic?" What had they solved? They just ran, like always.
When Kerberos finally chose to reveal himself though, it was as if his personality did a 180. He perked up almost instantly. He rushed to his feet, tripping in the progress as he staggered towards the senshi. As he let himself collapse on the smaller frame, his clothes shifted, changing into Fangite's uniform. "Your hair's gotten so long..." He mumbled, burying his face into Kerberos' shoulder and holding on tight. A snarl caught his attention though, and he shifted turning away from Kerb and towards the noise.
He froze, staring at the creature.
"A-Airi??"Airi hadn't expected to cross paths with Kerberos of all people while looking for someone else. The youma blinked several times, throwing the senshi a confused look. "What are you doi-" He cut himself off with a sigh, his ears drooping. "You know what... Never mind. I don't wanna know."
When Kerberos asked for help, Airi agreed almost instantly. Of course he would have. Kerberos had done nothing to him. The senshi was probably one of the few friends he had outside of Thanos and Ezra, if not the only one. Though when the got closer to the park, he backed off. Choosing instead to stick to the shadows. He watched as the senshi revealed himself. Airi followed as best he could without completely giving himself away. He stopped though as someone moved, scrambled and threw themselves at Kerb. He tensed for a moment before realizing it was Des. If that was Des, then who...? His gaze fell on a familiar brown leather and the fur stood on edge.
He snapped his jaws, growling as he stalked out of the shadows, moving to put himself in front of Kerberos and Fangite, blocking the two off from Natron.

"We can go back and get our stuff later," Natron pointed out, but he sighed, briefly, and vanished, appearing back on the bench with Arsenic in his arms. She made a protesting mew, clearly unhappy about being disturbed, and then grumpily settled down.
At Kerberos's accusation, he gave a tight smile. "Not a trap," he said, and he sagged back against the bench. "I'm not well. Airi and Fangite know that better than anyone else, but I'd bet you've got an idea, too. I think I may be...I don't know, poisoned by Chaos, or something. And I want out.Kerberos gasped as the civilian crashed into his arms, making a noise of confusion, until he powered up, and there was Fangite. Immediaterly, his expression softened, and he returned the embrace, nuzzling briefly at his cheek and making a point to pass over a little buit of his energy--if only because Fangite looked utterly exhausted.
He gave Natron a skeptical look, but...sitting on a bench with a cat in his arms, he hardly looked like a dangerous monster. And, anyway, Kerberos hadn't been much better, once.
"You too, Fang?" He asked, squeezing a little. Then, he reached down to run a hand over Airi's fur. "Because if you're both serious...I think I can help you."

Airi growled again. "Of course he 'got an idea' about it. Youattacked him. You attacked us all. 'Not well' and 'poisoned by chaos' are a bit of an understatement at this point! " The youma snapped.
"You tried to kill people who cared about you, and you were okay with it." His growls quieted only slightly at the hand in his fur. "You never listen. Look where its gotten you. You can't tell if you're coming or going. Des is practially on death's door, despite... the attempts that were made. You chased Kerberos off when all he did was try to help. It's a wonder he even answered your call, let alone decided to help you. You tried to dust me. You tried to hurt Fangite, through me." Airi's ears flattened on the back of his head. "You're lucky you have have that cat. Otherwise I would have torn you to shreds where you stand."
With a huff he turned, stalkingboff a short ways for distance. But still close enough if the situation arose. "Thebcave was your own fault and we all know it." He spat.
----
Fangite sighed at the squeeze. "I don't want to talk about it." He whined, pressing his cheek against Kerberos' shoulder and playing with a strand of hair. His gaze flickered to Airi as the youma spoke. He flinched though, when his friend spoke of him. Sucking in a breathe he dropped the strand of hair and covered his ears as he tried to curl in on himself, squeezinf his eyes shut.

Natron took a deep breath, and let Airi verbally savage him. When he was done, Natron sagged backwards ahgainst the bench, gently stroking a hand through Arsenic's fur to keep himself grounded.
"I know." He said. "I know what I've done. I could have killed any of you, and destroyed some of the only things left in my life that have meaning. And I would have been fine with it, because something was wrong with me." He inhaled, tensely. "Is wrong with me. Right now, there's a part of me that is completely certain I should slaughter the lot of you as traitors. I've done so much harm. Left so much damage in my wake."
He looked, pleadingly, at Fangite and Kerberos.
"Please. Help me fix this."Kerberos nodded, and then he very gently reached up to tug one of Fangite's hands away from his ear. He wove their fingers together, and gave a gentle, reassuring squeeze. "Sorry, but you're going to have to listen to me for just a second, love."
He exhaled. "There's....a Senshi. I think. Cosmos, a force greater than any Princess we have on Earth. She can't fight, as far as I know, but what she can do is heal. And that includes healing the infection of Chaos in your heart. Both of your hearts." He squeezed Fangite's hand, again. "She'll do it by purifying you. You'll become Knights--the Knights you would have been, if the Negaverse hadn't found you first. And I promise....it's good. It's freeing." He smiled, briefly. "I mean, look at me. I've been through hell and come out the other side. And you both can too."

Airitech snarled, ignoring Natron in favor of turning to face Kerberos. "If you're calling her I should probably leave. She may not be a fighter, but there's still no telling what could happen if I was present." Airitech took a moment to just watch Fangite before giving a small sigh and looking at Kerberos once more. "Keep me posted. Send Io if need be. It might be safer that way, for both of us." The youma then turned, stalking off into the shadows
Fangite just sighed, too tired to pull his wrist free. "I don't care. I just want this to be over with. I'm done with all this mess." He honestly didn't care who did it, what happened.
The Captain rolled his eyes with a snort. "I don't care what I am anymore. Been there done that. Its the same song and dance, just with a different set of colors." He sulked further into himself. "And I'm not having that conversation with you again. We had it four ******** times before you left." Okay so maybe he was still a little sore about that. But whatever, he'd get over it. Eventually. His gaze flicked to Airi, watching as the youma retreated into the dark without another word.
"Let's just get this over with." He sighed, defeated. "The sooner the better. In all seriousness, I can not guarantee I will be conscious for much longer."

"Call her." Natron said, firmly. He watched Airi slink off, and folded in on himself a little. "It's the only answer, isn't it?" He looked over at Fangite, and sighed.
"At least we'll be doing it together, this time. Not alone.""I'll let you know what happens," Kerberos promised, nodding to Airi as he left. He gave Fangite one last squeeze, and then disentangled from the embrace, folding his hand sin front of his face like he was praying.
In a way, he was.
It was a silent call, put out across the universe. A wish, a hope--that Cosmos would hear his call, even if he didn't voice it, and come. The way she'd told Hvergelmir she would. The Space Cauldron ding ding, requesting one (1) cosmos pls!

The stars in the night sky twinkled, a gentle glimmer of hope in the darkness. Things seemed normal--still, and unyielding, for a long moment. Cosmos could not hear everything and be everywhere, and could not always come when summoned. But, tonight, she did. A trail of sparkling light moved across the sky, growing slightly larger until it flickered out of existence. Her aura washed over them just as she shimmered into their presence. Cosmos was usually calm and unreadable, impassive and aloof. Tonight, she seemed guarded and clutched at her staff tightly as she looked at the two agents before her. It was only Kerberos' presence that seemed to bring her some relief and she nodded to him in greeting. "Why have you summoned me?" she asked the agents, as if she might have suspected some sort of trap or greater issue at hand. Her eyes flickered across their faces, and then again to Kerberos as if she might have read the answer there if she only looked hard enough.

Kerberos felt his heart well when Cosmos arrived. Just feeling her aura was like beign wrapped in a warm blanket in a cold winter, a comfort that felt like home. There were a million formalities he could have observed, but he decided to skip any bowing and scraping, especially since it seemed a bit silly, all things considered.
"I called for you," Kerberos said. "My....my friends need your help." He gestured to Natron and Fangite, and then fell silent to let them explain.Kerberos might not have bowed, but Natron was left...in awe. Of Cosmos, of her presence, of the pure, bright aura that filled the area, and that made his heart flip.
He went down on one knee, bowing his head.
"Princess," he said, though he wasn't entirely certain that was exactly the right title, "I--we--asked Keerberos to call you here because. Because I need to get out of the Negaverse, before I hurt someone I love."
