Maintenance Supply Burrow
The maintenance supply burrow is neat - upon closer inspection, almost unsettlingly neat. Here, supplies for bramble patch upkeep are arranged in organized sections, distributed and tracked with meticulous precision. Near the front of the burrow are reports on every bit of the bramble berry patches, along with schedules and instructions for upkeep and care.
When he's not out and about in the bramble patches himself, Captain Skift can be found managing this burrow. Although somewhat new to the job and untested, he has proven himself quite the bramble-tending virtuoso and takes tremendous pride in his ability to make the warren's territories flourish. His social skills, however, are an altogether different story.
Members of the burrow maintenance teams report to this burrow for their duty assignments and to collect any necessary supplies for their day.

Captain Skift's Report Station
Rules:
You must be a citizen of Bramblefell and have been assigned to the Bramble Maintenance Division by King Joxer in order to participate in training, access supplies, or any other maintenance duties.
All posts or duties assigned by Captain Skift will take place within this thread unless otherwise stated.
When roleplaying a position you can use random (not real) Bramblefell "citizens" to make your plots more exciting. You may not use anyone's actual rabbit (unless it is your own and they are also a citizen of Bramblefell). Small and inconsequential plot lines only, nothing huge (like you find a murdered rabbit or something crazy). If you have questions or an idea, you can run it by me in the Bramblefell Discord channel.

Warren RedeemedRedeemedI am tackling Task 4!Rabbit Name: Kokia Describe Your Task: Kokia made his way into another tunnel and caught the smell of smooshed and slightly rancid berry. “Well, here we go again.” He hopped around until he found the offending source of the smell and sighed while shaking his head. Bramblfel iz dum! was smeared haphazardly across the wall of brambles making up the right side of the tunnel. Some little punk had been writing messages similar to this all over the warren for weeks now. Kokia picked up his scrubbing leaf and set about getting the berry juice off the vines. All the berry residue was starting to rot and stink because of course whoever this person was wasn’t correctly working the berry juice into proper dye and instead was just busting open berries and smearing them everywhere. Kokia continued scrubbing, stopping every few moments to ring his scrubbing leaf out into the shell of water he had brought along. The water was slowly turning purple from the berry juice, and therefore so were his paws. Kokia hummed a little tune while he worked. Even though it smelled bad, and he was appalled at the horrible things being written about the king and the warren, it was nice to be so busy! He liked his work and enjoyed having something to do every day. It was why he had decided to join Bramble Maintenance, even though the Captain was a little… odd, Kokia liked that he cared about the brambles and always had jobs to do. The one thing Kokia hated the most was having nothing to keep himself occupied with. He scrubbed hard at a particularly stuck on bit of old berry skin and cringed when it finally flew off and hit him in the cheek. “Blegh!” He wiped it away and deposited it into the shell of water. He had heard they had caught the little rascal and he was some young buck. Well good! Serves him right! He was probably being interrogated by the Guard right now. Kokia shuddered a bit, he would hate to be interrogated. He had heard the tales of the interrogators Finch and Magpie and he hoped never to encounter them himself. Nope, Kokia was happy to just do his job and do it well. Despite what this little “artist” kept writing about, Kokia had only had positive experiences here in Bramblefell. King Joxer made sure he and his mate Cookei always had enough to eat and a safe place to sleep and he loved having a good job to do. As long as he just didn’t make any trouble, Bramblefell seemed pretty great, and Kokia did not like to make trouble. He swiped the last bit of berry juice from the vine and tried his best to rinse his dirty paws in dirty water. Giving up on this futile attempt, he picked up all his supplies, took one last look over the vines to make sure he got everything, and hopped back in the direction of the Supply Burrow. He would need to refresh his shell before starting out again. Who knows how many of these messages there were all throughout the warren! Kokia smiled a little bit to think about all the work ahead of him. Words: 536

Warren RedeemedRedeemed I'll watch the little Terror!Rabbit Name: Kokia Describe Your Task: Kokia dutifully made his way to the edge of the passageway he had been working on. The brambles here were in need of some pruning and detangling. Eventually this passage would be expanded into a new burrow for the growing warren. It was nice to see more members, he had to admit, but he could do with a little less noise. These children of his were all over the place and while he was mostly pretty good at ignoring them, and they mostly have seemed to get the hint and move on to bother other rabbits, leaving him and Cookei in peace, there was this one that had taken a liking to the Maintenance Division and he couldn’t seem to shake her. He heard a swift hopping coming down the passage and took a deep breath. Speaking of… those little paws and way too happy energy could only be coming from one kit…. He braced himself for impact as a small orange bundle came flying around the curve of the passage and used his body as a stopping point. With a soft “oof” he looked down and sure enough there was little Terror herself beaming up at him. He gave the young one a tight smile and then tried to get back to his work, purposefully ignoring her. This tactic had seemed to work with all his other children, they were so spread out now in the warren he didn’t even remember what they looked like, let alone their names, and this was how he liked it. Terror on the other hand…. She was prattling on about something, he wasn’t even sure she was speaking so fast and so excitedly it was hard to actually pick out the words she was using. He shook his head and and then nodded and made a noncommittal “Mmmhmmm” sound, though she didn’t seem to stop for a breath. She started doing something with his tools, maybe she had said something about helping?? No no no that would not do. “Well now, that’s.. that’s quite alright there, yes thank you, I will just.. take… those….” He picked the sharp rock he used for pruning and shaping up out of her small paws and placed them high up balanbced on some brambles out of her reach. She didn’t seem to mind at all and just shrugged happily and started telling him all about some bug she found. He shook his head slowly back and forth and was dismayed to find a little smile appearing on his face as her chatter filed the once silent passage. Okay maybe she was slightly endearing but only in short spurts. He let her small, happy, chitter chatter fade into a somewhat pleasant background noise as he went about his business, every once in aw while needing to stop and take something out of her hands that she was trying to “help” with. To her credit she never once seemed to care or pause in her stories and giggles. Kokia had no idea how he and Cookei had made such a loud, joyous little thing, and he was quite happy she seemed to have made her place the maintenance division instead of his burrow. wc: 534

Warren RedeemedRedeemedI'm working my favorite job!Rabbit Name: Kokia Describe Your Task: Kokia smiled happily as he puttered about in King Joxer's private burrow chamber. This was his absolute favorite thing to do in maintenance. King Joxer was a fastidious rabbit and his chambers were always so clean and lovely, with hardly any bugs to be found! During the monthly cleaning of his rooms, Kokia always enjoyed getting to take care of his king as well as getting to spend his day in the lovely inner throne room. The outside tunnels could often be cold or hot or just gross if there were a lot of bugs to deal with and Kokia didn't MIND those things necessarily (well except for the bugs he hated the bugs) but getting to be in the KING'S rooms, now that was a privilege. It was particularly wonderful right now as Kokia was doing everything in his power to avoid any of the kits wandering around the warren currently, most of them were his own and he just really didn't want to deal with any of them. He took his time, first tending to the king's vine throne. He cleaned away any debris and took special care to re wrap any vines that seemed to be coming loose from the girth of his king resting upon it. It wasn't long before the whole throne looked perfect again. He smiled happily at his handiwork and plucked some pieces of dirt and dust away so that it practically shone in the dim light filtering in next to the large trunk that made up the tree their warren wrapped around. Next, Kokia moved to the outer edges of the burrow, starting with the vine walls closest to the edge of the trunk, he began cleaning and re weaving the vines to make them stronger and more secure, knowing how important privacy was to his king. He paid extra careful attention to any gaps in the vines, and if he felt like one was too big, and some rabbit with ill intentions could be listening or looking, he trained the vines to close the gap as they grew. It was wonderful, mehtodical work and Kokia barely noticed how much time had passed and suddenly he realized he had made his way around the entire room. With a big and happy sigh, he picked up his cleaning materials and took one last look around, to make sure he hadn't missed anything. When the King came back from his meeting, he would be sure to notice how lovely all his throne and burrow looked. Kokia always received a message of gratitude from King Joxer after his monthly cleaning. It usually came through Captain Maze, which was not Kokia's favorite rabbit to be near, but at least she was better than Captain Uzo who made him VERY nervous. It was nice to be acknowledged for his efforts. Humming happily to himself, Kokia made his way back to the maintenance burrow to clean and organize his things before heading home. Hopefully he could avoid any of his children until he was safely in his own burrow. He had done a good job of it today but who knew if one of them would be lying in wait somewhere outside the sanctuary of the throne room... wc: 540
