He didn't plan on going into this whole senshi thing blindly, he needed to know about this mess. As far as he was concerned there was more to it than the cat had told him - a lot more. The senshi, like himself, couldn't want nothing. people weren't like that, it wasn't human nature, and even if that was the case they were still part of the problem. Why not let the Negaverse have the city? What was so wrong in it? What did they plan to do with the city that was so bad you had to go to war? Had to make the city and it's people suffer?
He needed to know and so he had decided to power up, as much as the whole transformation thing annoyed him, and went to see if he couldn't find people to give him answers - anyone.
He knew it could be dangerous, considering there was a war involved, so he'd removed his earrings before he'd left his apartment to power up and go hunting for information. He did not need, or want, an earring ripped out of his ear. The healing on that...and what his co-workers would ask and say. Nope - no thank you. He did not need nor want that headache.
He'd already been teased, though in a playful manner, by his co-workers the last time he'd had his ear pierced and he'd complained over the damn pain from it. It was more than he'd expected that was for certain. He did not need an injury for them to tease him over, or worse yet question him over.
Keeping to the shadows as best he could, thankful for the lack of street lights on the block his studio and apartment were on, the senshi was hoping to not garner too much attention. He'd been told he could be sensed, like he could sense the cat, so he knew if anyone was around they were likely to come for him...for good or for bad - he hoped for good.

Wolframite was energy collecting and had made decent work of 3 club-going young women who were now slumped on the sidewalk. He decided to pick up one of their phones and call them a Uber as he left one groggy enough to answer a phone. They'd think the drink got them and then a mugger as he happily took what little cash they still had left and one decently good ring. The rest only had cheap knockoffs that wouldn't fetch anything at a pawn shop. He was staying to get an eye for these things the more he went to hit up the place for some exchange for cash. The man never asked questions and they both knew they were up to illegal actions.
It was while walking away that he had sensed the senshi. First rank. Didn't feel like a chibi. It was worth checking out and so the half-youma moved towards them, approaching slowly but without hiding himself but noticing the lack of appropriate streetlight. It worked well for him, his eyes often stinging from the bright bulbs, as he moved closer to then.

Something suddenly felt..off...wrong. He wasn't sure what but it gave the senshi pause, kept him from continuing to walk down the sidewalk. Turning around he took a moment to glance about, to try and see into the darkest areas, the darkness was good for him to hide in but he couldn't see into it all. Something was here though...at least it felt like it? Just that sort of creepy feeling as well as something else - something different. He wasn't sure what, couldn't pin point it, but he knew he felt something dark.
"Well, ******** me. I can sense something but can't see s**t." He didn't know why the words came out, he should have kept his mouth shut and not admitted to that, but who cared right now? It was obvious, at least to him ,that he couldn't see whatever he was feeling. Or maybe it was just his own imagination? But he doubted it, he really did.

Wolframite walked out casually closer to the man and spoke once he was in earshot. "If this is a trap, I'm going to be real pissed." He said to the senshi, looking around for any signatures that might be hidden by cats or other magic.
"I can't say that I met the blurt out that you're blind approach before. At least the senshi was the same power ranking as his which made it a lot less dangerous. He couldn't teleport to safety right now until he was a captain and that made patrols a gamble.

"A trap. No." And he assumed he wasn't being set up either, not if the other was wondering similar thoughts about him.
"Mouth decided to work without consent from the brain." Something which didn't happen too often, unless he was in rare mood, which was good or his latest customer at work would have heard a lot from him already...and likely caused some problems for him and the shop he worked at. He still wondered how a person like her managed to do anything - to any decisions in life. If she had to think to breath she might just die, by thinking about several other things aside from breathing. She was a mess.
"Why would I set up a trap? That would mean I care enough about this mess."

"Well even idiots tend to care about their life and you are standing out here in uniform. If you didn't care about the war, then why are you even out here giving off a power signature. This isn't a game or costume party. I could have killed you. I still can kill you." He warned but made no threatening gesture or movement to indicate he would be doing that.
Instead, he crossed his arms and watched his, his tail flicking behind him.
"And innocent senshi make perfect bait for traps. Makes officers drop their guard. Energy signature can be masked."
And he still glanced about again as if making sure irony wouldn't befall him in the form of 3 other senshi appearing and some cats.

"How else do I find people to ask about things? I doubt I could put up signs around the city." He stated, the last bit more than a little sarcastic. If one were looking he even rolled his eyes with the last sentence. "Trust me, if I could do that and have people call me, and tell me about things, I would. Less time spent interacting with people in person." Because he really didn't want to have to deal with people - he was not a people person. But how else to get to know just what the hell he'd been drafted into. He knew what the cat had told him but that was one perspective and one side of the story. There was more to it - there had to be.
Shrugging a bit, arms folding across his chest, he tilted his head a bit to the side. "If you want me dead - go ahead." He sounded just as uncaring as he possibly could. Because if he was going to be killed it would have happened? Or it would happen and he wouldn't be able to do much about it, he wasn't a fighter. He was a tattoo artist in funny clothing....and apparently possessing magic. At leas that's what the cat told him and all those damn sparkles indicated.

"Do your comrades not educate you? Do your cats not speak to you? Do the knights not offer their aid? I suppose these should be basic resources for you but then again, your side isn't organized. It's why so many of you aren't trained and wind up loosing your starseeds. You'd think those around you would be called into action to do something about it."
Be leaned against a railing on the edge of the spotlight's light. His own glowing yellow eyes did not like such blinding light.
"You hardly make killing you any fun. If you don't give a s**t, then update me on your side. Who made you? What have you been told to do? Is there any news about new Royals on your side?" He asked, watching him.
"Or are you devoid of any information as much as you are common sense?"

"They talk, a lot, but there are two sides to every story. Other people have other opinions and different information. What a cat tells me isn't going to be what you or someone else tells me. I'd rather hear more than just one voice." He wanted to know more, to know which side was right to him. Which side caused the least damage...who started this mess and why. He didn't like just being on one side and being locked into it...simply because it was who got to him first. It was binding and he rather disliked it, maybe it was part of why he didn't fit into cultural norms if he were back in his parents home country, he didn't like norms....he liked his own rules. This was seeking his own path - whatever it may be.
"I've talked to a total of one cat - the one who made me. You expect me to have information for you? On Royals...when I'm clueless on them. I was made by a cat and I was told we were out to stop the Negaverse from taking over this city - something we're not looking to do. That we aren't looking for anything...nothing to gain.Who does something for nothing though? Who gets into a war of sorts with no goal - no end goal prize." He didn't trust it. It seemed too innocent and too much like some pure hero who was doing good for the sake of it. It wasn't so realistic to him.
"I don't think I've had to the time to learn anything - two weeks isn't much time. Especially when I have work to do as well." And it tended to follow him right upstairs from where he worked - to his apartment.

He smiled at this. "They sound just as disorganized and a bunch of liars as usual. You'd think if they had any sense, they would follow our system of assigning seniors to train the newest members. You are out here risking your lives without any information, training, motivation, personal investment, and guidance. Almost makes me feel bad for how many of you die each year due to the carelessness if the supposed guardians who awaken you. Then again, there is no real system for you to turn to to being it up to any authority. Get used to being disappointed. It won't change. Even your Royals aren't around to help."
He casually crossed the distance over to him and raised his hands. "I won't draw a weapon or attack unless you do. Scout's honor." He said with a smile. "So what do you want to know?"

As the other spoke, and he listened, it seemed like the side he'd been brought into wasn't so good - at least not personally for him. He already knew he'd not dealt with anyone from 'his side' aside from the cat which had brought him into things. But the other side had training...and people assigned to new members in order to help. Why the hell didn't he have that? It seemed a good idea, really good, as it seemed many were suffering due to a lack of training. So why wasn't it a thing by now?
"I'm not looking to fight - so you're safe." So long as he didn't change his mind, which the other might do, but it seemed that right now he was safe.
"Whatever you can tell me. Why this war, why here, what the end goal is. Who drew first blood...I want to figure out for myself which is the better side, not just personally for me but in general. Which side has done the least amount of damage and has the better intentions. I don't like having one side to the story when there are two sides to this." Unless he really wanted to say that every person involved had their own side to things, because that would leave him hunting down everyone in the damn city who was involved. He was not u p for socializing that much - not a chance in hell.

"The war is centuries old. Getting to know who drew first blood is a bit impossible given most people of that time are dead. History does say that the Princess if the Moon was romancing the Prince of Earth. There was a civil resistance and the moon decided to strike that opposition down in order to keep the union going. I can confirm that from the youma in the Rift who are centuries old and are the product of the Moon's magic that mutated them and destroyed there home. Even the white moon has seen the ruins of the Earth Kingdom when they invaded."
"The war is a continuation of that opposition. To not have a senshi influence over the planet that belongs to the people of Earth. The knights assist the senshi and are the military force under that power. They are also controlled by a entity called The Code. The knights fail to also point out that the Negaverse are knights too and instead demonize us."
He scratched at the back of one furry paw. "The end goal is to win control of the planet. Your side is fighting a war because the leaders of the moon wanted Earth. You have no leaders and are given a basic task for a dead princess who doesn't even exist anymore. Welcome to the side of the Moon and her underlings."

"So what do we do, the senshi and knights, if we were to win? We win and then what? If this princess is dead? And I doubt governments would bow to a princess - they are hardly get along now, and some don't. If she turned up that would cause more issues, though you say she's dead. If the Negaverse are knights...aren't they under senshi control to? Or also an enemy of earth...or a former enemy?"
Though it did sound like the senshi and knights were in the wrong. "Who struck first in this time - in this city? I'd like to know just who started the s**t show that this city has become. Because if I could afford it I'd move the hell out of here - it's falling to hell in some areas and it's not exactly safe in this city." It didn't give him the warm fuzzies to say the least.
"What will the Negaverse do if they win? What is the end goal? Kill the senshi and knights..and rule. I get that but what of governments around the world and the people? Do you all just stop powering up and go back to normal lives or what? Any clue on the other side what they'll do in the end if they were to win?" He really did need to see what the best side was, what one was the more peaceful. He'd rather not have to worry at night when he went out, the s**t he saw on the news sometimes. This city was a wonder.

"Whoa. Whoa. Whoa. You got enough questions in all that? Damn, you want everything."
"Okay, your senshi have their own goals. You ask them if you want that. The Negaverse already is in the government. Remember, everyone has a civilian life. You never once considered they'd be working anywhere important? Or would he that to help protect the planet in the day as much as at night. I'm sure there are senshi and knights doing that as well. Helping their friends whenever they can on both fronts. Think a bit about these questions your asking, okay?"
"The Negaverse would of course ask for surrender and take in everyone. But if you don't want a peaceful surrender, then that's on them to decide. Prison. Death. These are all consequences of losing any war. Of course we don't want to have anyone for if we could avoid it but we also can't have a new cell planning an uprising after a victory. It would cause havok and collateral damage to people as a result."
"As for knights, they don't work for the senshi. That's a lie other knights feed the others. The Code itself has admitted they don't follow the senshi. They are their own faction and in the past worked for their people. Some just partnered up with senshi or left their planets to aid them by choice or for military or political reasons. Just like a war. One allining with another and sending aid if it benefits them. It's all situational and with centuries of histories and different planets and cultures, there are differences." He said. "You could crack a history book and learn a lot of basics of war you know? It's not very different if it's on Earth or on some alien planet."
"Earth has it's own knights. The old Academy is in the Negaverse along with the old kingdom."

Of course he had questions! And that wasn't enough - he needed to understand. He needed to make his choice and figure out just what to do about this whole thing. It did all make sense, what the other said, things he hadn't really thought of but should have. Maybe he hadn't thought people like this would be involved in government, whether it was because they were busy or young like himself, but he supposed some were going to be older and involved. Somehow government didn't know...there was no way to find out. "Is people inside the government the reason why nothing is being done about the city and it's issues? it's not like it isn't posted about on social media and yet nothing has been done." You'd think there would have been some big crack down on gangs in this city with how it was talked about, but it seemed like no one outside of this city knew...or did anything.
"Surrender...just from the senshi and knights or world governments as well? I assume you mean world governments. Who would run things, I mean would it be one ruler or a group of people from around the world? Would they all be Negaverse or would it be people voted in by the civilian populace as it is now in this country?" Would it be fair, would it be what people would want. Would it be freeing or would it shackle people and force them under the rule of people they may not like or agree with, at all, like dictators. He really had a lot of questions, and he knew it, and while he wished everything could be answered he knew it was unlikely. He also knew some answers may be wrong, whether just slightly or in large ways. He understood it but he still had his questions.
"Would countries still exist or would it be one world government? I mean...people are rather prideful of where they are from, nationalities...and sports." The Olympics and sporting events, like soccer, they were important and if it was one world, and no separate countries, how would that be a thing. Or one government but separate countries.
"I'm trying to think about my questions but there is a lot to take in, there has been for days, and I want to know both sides as well as I can. This isn't something I can read online or watch videos about. This is magic...which shouldn't even be possible but is." He still felt like he belonged in some sort of an anime.
"A history book would tell me some things. It wouldn't tell me which side in this war is better for the people and the side that is, generally speaking, more right. Less guilty of harming the people and the better option for the general public." History books would tell him tactics and what people may and may not do, what mistakes had been made in the past, but it didn't tell him about these specific sides and which was the better option, as neither was in any history book. Living on other planets was no where in a book that was legit.
"Meh, the king is old and just a building. I care more about the history than something physical. If I'm being honest."
