Alora stalked through the darkness of the cover provided by the dense forest. Her brilliant green orbs pierced the dark as she flexed her wings against her back. Stopping for a moment to take in the night air, she closed her eyes and breathed deeply. What was this? She inhaled again. She picked up the faint scent of a nearby mare. Intruiged, she turned and headed the direction the scent was coming from. This could be fun. She had been bored after all and no one to play with.
the scent grew stronger the closer she got. Winding through the trees, she finally came to a large, secluded meadow. Her eyes scanned the landscape before her and then....she spotted her...on the other side of the meadow stood the mare who's scent she had followed. Alora smiled to herself with mischief twinkling in her eyes. She walked forward confidently, not at all trying to hide her presence from the other mare.

Aita licked her tongue across her teeth, blood from a fresh kill dripping and drizzling down her muzzle and fangs. The poor shell of a creature before her was frozen in the moment of its death, a haunting fear in its lifeless eyes. Blood flowed across its pelt from the fatal wound where her fangs had found their mark and ripped flesh. Blazing red eyes reflected in the moonlight as she sank those razor teeth into its flesh once more and she tore chunks of meat from the carcass, eating her fill.
She raised her head, with one ear cocked listening. She could hear movement in the trees as it seemed another soquili was on the move in the night. More than that, as she raised her muzzle to sniff the air, she picked up the scent of not just one, but two other mares. With blood smeared and dripping from her muzzle she decided it was time to have a little fun. Stealthily, she strode forward into the abyss of the forest, flames crackling silently in the darkness.

Nighttime was not a good time for Ahlia. It never was. The shadows, the demons, the nightmares; they all felt just that much more alive at night. The whispering in the back of her mind grew louder at night. Rip.... is whispered sultrily. Shred.... it teased her softly. Kill... it tempted her persistently.
"No... no leave me alone... not tonight... please..." Ahlia moaned softly as she swayed gently in place, her eyes closed tight against the surrounding darkness, hoping it would block out the shadows in her head too. She didn't even notice the approaching danger; for now the danger in her head was more than enough for her to deal with.
