Good Traits tab• • 》 Cheerful: despite everything he's put through, Trey really tries to keep a positive outlook on things. While he can get caught up in self-hatred he tends to try to enjoy life as it comes and keep a cheerful attitude even when it's hard. And if you're friends with him he'll try to cheer you up too! tab• • 》 Creative: Trey has always had a penchant for photography and drawing and so has a very creative mind. If he didn't have so much trouble with battling he could probably apply it to it. He's pretty good at coming up with ideas on the fly. tab• • 》 Kind: Trey has a well of kindness inside him and you can see it in the way he interacts with his pokemon an on the ocassion he crosses paths with them, with people. He's incredibly compassionate and hates the idea of being unkind to people most likely because of how unkind people have been to him. Bad Traits tab• • 》 Insecure: Being torn down over and over since he has coignizance has left Trey incredibly insecure of himself. He's pretty sure that every thing he likes is dumb, that any idea he has is likely to be a ******** up, and he's terrified of people figuring this out about him. tab• • 》 Dependent: Trey has a deep loneliness due to how his siblings were pitted against each other ( and he being the 'weakest' was often left alone) and how his father treated him. Between that and running away he doesn't have a lot of people he can say are on his corner. Due to this, when someone shows him kindness he clings to them pretty hard. Once he bonds with you, you can get him to do pretty much anything for you tab• • 》 Secretive: Trey keeps the abuse he suffered ( and fears he will continue to suffer) as well as the thoughts of self-hatred he has incredibly close to the chest. This is in big part because he's been convinced that he deserves it and brings it on himself and he's incredibly afraid (though he doesn't realize it) that people will just confirm that and agree with his father that he's "a waste of space and time" He also tends to not ask for help when he needs it or tell people when he's hurting because of how much he's been made to feel inadequate and not wanting to be a burden and being afraid it will make people leave him. Trey will put on a happy face even if something's hurting him and it can lead to issues.

Strengths tab• • 》 Resilience: though Trey doesn't believe this about himself he has an incredible inner strength. He's survived evrything his family put him through and continues to survive as a runaway. He's also thankfully fairly healthy and sturdy and doesn't get sick easily. tab• • 》 The arts: For as long as he remembers Trey has never been without a sketchbook. While his father deems this an unworthy pursuit, he managed to keep it hidden while he lived in Oceupulid and keep practicing. As a result, he's quite experience with traditional art mediums such as paints, charchoals, pencils, and markers. He's also been into photography since the age of 10. tab• • 》 Ingenuity: From coming up with an escape plan to finding ways to swindle food and pokemon supplies, Trey is pretty good at coming up with ways to survive and get what he needs. He has a pretty sharp mind though he won't believe it if you tell him. Weaknesses tab• • 》 Triggers: Trey has a lot of trauma responses that even he himself couldn't pinpoint due to his father's abuse. He panics if he's in the dark or locked up, tends to flinch around loud voices and can become nonresponsive when someone specifically gets mad at him. He's also uneasy around battling and is wont to have nightmares when exposed to those stimuli. tab• • 》 Battling: A big part of his abuse is that Trey just doesn't have the mind for battling. He can get the basic concepts but he's never been as good as his siblings and the association of failure with punishment only really makes it harder for him to get through it. tab• • 》 Panic Attacks: Trey tends to have them when exposed to things that remind him of his father or his triggers and the worst part is he doesn't really know how to stop them. His new pokemon help ( mostly Vita)

Quirks and Habits tab• • 》 Trey tends to play with the strings of his hoodie when he's nervous. He also tends to avoid eye contact and stutter when nervous. tab• • 》 He's gotten used to get by on minimal food between punishments and running away and doesn't...actually know it's not normal? He also tends to eat really fast and usually feeds his pokemon before feeding himself. tab• • 》 Aspirations tab• • 》 He's never really had the ability to form aspirations but if you asked him he'd probably say he wants to stop being a failure. tab• • 》 He wants to live a life where he doesn't have to deal with his family. Likes tab• • 》 Photography: He's been into photography since he was ten and always carries a camera with him. One of the things he actually liked about being forced to go the battle tent was taking pictures of the attacks. tab• • 》 Drawing: Trey loves to draw more than anything. He spends 80 percent of his time with a sketchbook on his lap. It's something that also helps ground him. tab• • 》 Being around other people: Trey is an extrovert at heart and likes spending time with people. He didn't have a lot of friends growing up and often was isolated form his siblings but he longs for companionship and is liable to strike up a conversation if around people he feels safe with. tab• • 》 His pokemon: They're probably the beings he's closest to. Trey's pokemon are the only ones who see all of him, the good the bad and the ugly. Having such a lonely childhood and such a hard time feeling safe around people he loves them more than anything. Dislikes tab• • 》 The dark: As said before Trey hates the dark. He even sleeps with the light on. tab• • 》 Being alone: Being away from his dad and brothers is a dream come true but Trey handles loneliness extremely badly. He hates being alone with his thoughts and being lonely is almost painful to him. It also doesn't help that he's pretty much an extrovert. tab• • 》 Things that remind him of home: Trey has had panic attacks because he thought he saw his father's pokemon. He hates things that bring back memories of home, be they objects, people, or moments. tab• • 》Talking about things: Trey isn't likely to talk about why he's so scared all the time or why he is how he is. He harvors a deep fear of being told he deserved the abuse or people siding with his father ( because in his mind, his father's right) and also it's just painful to talk about. He keeps a distance between the image he projects ( carefree, cheerful, a little flighty) and the scars that he hides and if asked or prodded at is likely to deflect or change the subject.

Biography tab• • 》 .
Coming from a line of elites Trey is expected for greatness. Since the age of five his father has been taking Trey as well as his 2 older brothers and one younger, to watch battles in the Battle house, and occasionally, the Ocepulid Gym itself. He made sure to point out to Trey and his brothers just what made winners different from looser and which ones they were expected to be as 'Greysons' Trey's brothers soon got with program and started as trainers bringing home cases of badges and going to events around the globe. No matter how many events he was taken to or how many times he was drilled though Trey could not be what his parents wanted, as he grew up he became a bit of a poke-maniac (his pika hoodie is proof) and got into trouble with his father and others in his hometown due to the way he dressed and the interests he had. He was constantly put down by his father and eldest brother. Something no one knows about Trey is that his father is not only strict he is also abusive both psychologically and physically towards all his sons. Mason Treyson made it so that Trey could never trust his brothers. He would have them punish him when he misbehaved. He would also not let him eat if he lost a match or lock him in a dark room for hours, at times a whole day. Because he was the worse trainer Trey is the only one that still gets punished (his brothers all got good at battling to avoid punishment, but Trey was unable to.)
Life at home got to be actual hell on earth, it got to the point that Trey felt he had to leave, that he couldn't be in that house for another instant, He was picked up by an officer before he even got to the next city. When he was brought back home Trey's father was apoplectic and to this day Trey tries not to think about the first moments after seeing him again. His father after he was done doling out abuse for daring to run away, said that had already made arrangements for him to go on a pokemon journey saying that hopefully "it'll make something useful out of you!" he was also told very explicitly that his brothers and fathers would be checking in and expected badges from him.
Unsure of how to feel about this new development, Trey knew that disobeying was not an option. So, he grabbed his bag and headed to Professor Jupiter's lab. He couldn't help but wonder if he had wanted to leave so badly, why he felt so bad about this.

She sees her trainer as someone in need of protection and loves him dearly. Vita is fairly protective of Trey and has promised herself that she will look out for him and often tries to make sure that the other pokemon listen to him. ◓Lilipup M tab》Chance Level: 4 hp: 40 exp: 8/17 Item: None Nature: Harsh Ability: Vital Spirit Bio: Caught at level 2. Its a thing of beauty when Chance is on duty. Chance is a rather impish pup who loves to play even at inopportune times and can sometimes go a bit too far with it. He loves to run and give chase and is a fairly happy go lucky puppy. Being kept as more or less a pet she doesn't really like to battle but she does like Trey and is adapting to life in his party rather well. Can be a bit spoiled. Run Boy Run• •》
Trey's journey started with a fight. Not a fight against a pokemon but rather a fight with his father. Previously, he had tried to run away only to be brought back by an officer Jenny for being out without being a registered trainer. After being brought back home, Trey was subjected to punishment by his father and told he would make something of himself. His father contacted Professor Juniper and set up Trey to get a starter and go on a journey.
Arriving at Proffesor Juniper's lab Trey opted for a snivy who he nicknamed Vita and started on his journey. On Nuvema town Trey tried to keep his spirits high even as it dawned on him that he had more or less been exiled until he gained enough badges to be worthy of his last name. Still he had Vita and after some time spent away from Ocepulid he found his spirits had somewhat lifted. He made his official catch, a Lillipup that he named Chance.
While taking his pokemon to the pokemon center, he also was given a Vulpix by an elderly lady who couldn't take care of her anymore. Trey found out the little fox's name was Lyra and happily added her to the team.
The next day howeever Trey found himself having a panic attack upon seeing a Dragonite ( a pokemon he knew that his father had on hand) it was so bad he ended up deciding to leave the region, as he felt he needed to get away from feeling like his father could find him at any minute. So he impulsively boareded a train, not really caring where it was going.
Dream A Little Dream• •》
Trey woke up in an entirely different place than the train and almost immediately found himself in trouble. Chance, ran off and upon trying to catch him Trey found himself almost run over by a Lairon He was saved by a boy named Terrence who quickly scolded him over his carelessness. Vita jumped in to defend him but Trey was more than willing to admit that it was his fault. He was surprised when Terrence said that everyone makes mistakes and that Trey shouldn't beat himself up by them but rather learn from them. Trey was stuck by the boy's words and as the two traveled couldn't help but strike up a friendship with him. It wasn't until he woke up back on the bus that he realized he had dreamed the whole thing up. Or so he thought.
Waking up in Littleroot• •》
Trey found himself eager to be so far from home. He couldn't help but wish however that Terrence had been real. Trey had never really had a friend before and the older boy had given him a feeling of safety that was incredibly foreign to him, and one he found himself longing for. He was incredibly surprised when Terrence himself appeared. Not only was the boy real but he remembered their time in the dream world as well. Trey could scarcely believe it and was even more pleasantly surprised to see that Terrence had come for him and asked him to travel with him.
Terrence had words for him about how no one could tell him what to do with his life, which Trey soaked up even if he couldn't believe. When given the chance Trey decided he would go with Terrence and challenge the league even if he dislikes battling.
Traveling with Terrence, Trey finally made it to Sandgem town. Trey couldn't help but notice that Terrence seemed to be getting tired. Being told to train, he did as he was told but got his new friend some tea from a vending machine at the pokecenter ( unknown to Terrence using the last of his food money for it)
